    Unfortunately, this was a really underwhelming experience. There was only one staff member serving, and we were given torn and very tatty menus. The selection included in the bottomless lunch was extremely limited, and our orders were repeatedly forgotten specially wheb only one taco would come out at a time, making it difficult to enjoy the experience together. There was also no music and very little ambience, which added to the overall lacklustre atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service, food experience and atmosphere fell well short of expectations. We won’t be returning.

    Don’t want to kick a struggling business when it’s down but this place needs to do better. Under staffed, uninterested management, average food. We waited an hour to order food as they clearly forgot about us after getting drinks. Had to chance them to do a food order. The waiter wasn’t skilled and I’m lucky I demanded he read back the order as it was wrong. On paying the bill the manager was busy doing something at the til so said come back in 5 mins. Just uninterested in making customers happy.

    We are regulars and last night was a massive disappointment. First we waited about 10mins for the menus, I had my elderly parents with me. We finally ordered and waited another 30mins for our drinks and cutlery that wasn’t laid out for us but thrust into my husbands hands to hand out to the table. The place was not busy as we arrived for a 5:30pm booking as the restaurant cancelled my 6:30pm booking. Next the food, the meal sizes were significantly smaller to the last time we were there, not sure if the price increased. The rice was hard as a rock as it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The beans were cold as ice and my mother thought they might have been 2 days old. The total cost was almost $300 with alcoholic drinks and 6 people. But with food that wasn’t enjoyable that becomes quite expensive. We mentioned this at the checkout but the girl checking us out said sorry, but didn’t really mean it or care. We left feeling unwanted.

    Unfortunately, Montezuma's has gone down hill since moving. Consider other alternatives. The food was drowned in oil. The quality you've known to love from Montezumas unfortunately just isn't there. We've enjoyed our past dining experiences at Montezuma's, but this one was a disappointment.

    The food was good and the wait staff were on the ball. Service was prompt. The live music made for a really great atmosphere 😃 as well. It's a winning combination - I would come back again as it's great value for money particularly with live music 🎶.

    Went for the bottomless cocktails, tacos, dips and churros, and wasnt asked once if I needed anything I had to constantly chase the wait staff down and ask for another drink or another taco. It made me really uncomfortable to have to keep going up and asking. In a 2 hour package I only got 3 tacos, when I went up to ask for churros at 1.47pm as the package was 12-2pm, I was told that the last orders are taken at 1.45pm so churros wouldn’t be included now, I had sat there and waited 25 mins after eating my last taco as I was arguing with my daughter telling her to go and ask dor the churros as I didn’t want to go up again as I felt like I was bothering them asking for food or drinks. If I had of been served appropriately I would have had my churros and left a long time before 2pm instead of sitting there not wanting to go up and ask for my dessert. Eventually he agreed to get me the churros but only bought out a serve for one person and we are 2 people. The food wasn’t great either, the service non existent and the ambience was listening to the table beside me complaining how this was the worst experience they’ve ever had. Do better or don’t advertise a bottomless lunch if u don’t serve the customers and make them wait 25-30 mins between ordering..

    Amazing food but poor service. Had to ask multiple times to follow up on orders, dishes took a long time to be cleared, no further checks in how the food was or more drinks / dessert once initial order delivered. Hoped the service had improved since our last visit in June but no, still the same.
