We had high hopes for Morton's, however, it proved to be less than stellar. While the service started off okay, our two waiters became non-existent and would swing by our table to check on us with seemingly the frequency of Haley's Comet. Seriously, evolution moves at a faster pace than the wait staff. I don't know if it's because they were understaffed, or just tired, but it was very noticeable. They could take some queues from the Capital Grill on what attentiveness looks like. On a positive note, the food was superb and a good value. Bad sadly, the lackluster service and amount of time it took overshadows the food. I don't think we'll be back. What will stand out in memory was the absolute slowness of the service.

Overall a good experience but the servers were very nice but the service was extremely slow. We were the first patrons in and ordered right away and the whole meal took an hour and a half and the restaurant was not that busy.

I've been dining here 25 years and I experienced the worse dining experience here ever... maybe because it was restaurant week in Charlotte (never dine here during that week) but my food felt rush and very unprepared...we spoke to the manager and he settled the issue and I'll be back for sure...my favorite restaurant in the world 😊still

Cocktails were great. Bacon steak was a decadent way to start a steak dinner. Steak was very good. “Morton’s legendary hot chocolate cake” was the best rendition of a molten chocolate cake we have experienced. We tried the truffle butter and cognac sauce au poivre sauces and they were both just ok. Bearnaise (which isn’t an option) is the ultimate steak sauce. All in all a very good meal.

Went for Queens Feast. It's excellent as you would expect it to be. They have a separate gluten sensitive menu. The only problem is how good the gluten containing dishes are....

The waiter Davonte was terrible, his attitude was not good. He also failed to check on my table. We had to ask for service from another wait staff. He brought me cold coffee and the wrong salad. When I brought it to his attention. He failed to make it right by taking my old salad and bringing me a fresh one. We expected better service from Morton’s. The waiter we previously had his name was Bill. Bill provided excellent service…

I wasn't a fan of patrons having to ask for the Queen's Feast menu because they weren't offered it at the beginning. It puts the patron in an uncomfortable situation to have to ask for the "value menu". It was also obvious that the restaurant was trying to get you to order at regular price. If they don't want you to participate then they shouldn't participate in the program in the first place.

Lauren my server was awesome as always. The food was great. The cook/kitchen was rocking! I'm a long time diner of morton's. I do have issues with Troy the (AGM) I think that was his title. No greeting at the tables and if he did it was not to the African American tables. I did ask who he was because I observed him holding a wine bottle offering samples to certain tables and walking by others without speaking. I wonder why he is not contributing to the dinning experience? I understand it was restaurant week but he should of made himself known. You never know those here for restaurant week could become long time dinners like me. It all started with a great server and a friendly GM. 15+ years later and many private dinner parties I'm still coming and celebrating.

The hostess was extremely dry. Our server was attentive and cordial. The food was not great. The steak was salty and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were not served warm and did not taste like they were made in house. The key lime pie also did not taste fresh. Not to mention the health score was 86…will not dine here again.

This was our first time dining at Morton’s. The food was delicious and the waiter was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our requests. I am sorry I don’t remember his name. We will definitely be back for dinner soon.

Excellent restaurant to dine at if you are ever in the uptown Charlotte area looking for prime steak, chops and/or seafood. Bar bites service w/ separate dining area. The lobster bisque, smoked gouda & bacon au gratin potatoes and salmon was absolutely delicious! Especially good for wine lovers and parking located close to restaurant in which restaurant will validate. Thanks Eric Forsythe (GM) for another great dining and restaurant week experience! Also thanks to the Bartender for the Blooming Hibuscus. Thumbs up!

The ceasar salad tasted equivalent to lettuce soaked in old fish. The table cloth and napkins appeared to have never been properly cleaned and the service from our waiter was severely lacking. The entree was decent at least. This location of Morton’s really lives up to their poor sanitation score.

Long time Morton’s customer! We reside at the beach but jumped in car w the dog after a trip was canceled at the last minute. My husband and I own 3 very busy restaurants and he’s also a nurse manager! We get a full day off rarely. So when we eat out we enjoy a relaxing 3 hour dinner! That’s exactly what we got! From perfect relaxed service by Chris, to the manager on duty as well doing several table touches! As wine collectors, they’re always accommodating on us bringing a selection of our own! See you next time in Charlotte

Food was phenomenal— got the crab cakes, meatballs, and filet which was cooked & seasoned perfectly. Service was fine, but beware that the sanitation rating is 88.. (as of 12/30/22). We felt very weird that a steakhouse of this stature & one so expensive would have such a low sanitation score.

24 Wedding Anniversary No valet service offered and we had 2 servers however one did come over to check on us until it was time for the check. That would of been ok if he would of greeted us warm and welcoming. Not our best night at our favorite restaurant.

It was so cold in the restaurant that everyone had to keep coats in. We sat down and it took us 30 minutes to to have a waitress bring us menus. It was nearly a 3 hour meal and there was nothing special about it.
