   What an incredible experience! The service was impeccable, and the food was some of the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend trying the Wagyu Beef with Mellow Sake - it was absolutely divine.

   This place in Darling Quarter was pretty quiet on Tuesday night 28Feb. We received a warm and friendly greeting from the waiting staff and shown to our table. The dining area is spacious with elegant yet comfortable furniture. The lighting was calming but not dim at all. The wait staff eagerly but pleasantly gave a quick rundown of the menu which encouraged us what to order. After appetizers, our company of four enjoyed the delicious meal of barramundi with garlic and dried orange peels, crispy skin chicken and Mumian seafood fried rice. There are many Cantonese restaurants around Sydney ranging in price, but you should consider this place if you're in Darling Harbour with some family or friends.

   Do not come here ! This is worse restaurant I’ve ever been too worse service food was disgusting and extremely over priced … I chose to ignore the bad reviews but do not make my mistake this was extremely disappointing I will never came back here , and I highly suggest you don’t come either

   Waited 1.5hr for food. Waitress couldn’t say how much longer it is going to take. Others who came after us start getting their food, while we were still waiting, so we decided to leave.

    I have already been in contact with Shawn from MuMian regarding this. No table water was provided, entree took just under 90 minutes to come, we then waited an hour for our mains which to when we asked where the food was, we were told the order had been cancelled. Staff (apart from the girl with black curly hair) were rude & somewhat clueless about everything & we were one of over half a dozen couple to get up & leave due to the poor service & slow food times. It ruined Valentine's Day & was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. The saving grace is that Shawn has offered my partner & I a free dinner which we will be taking MuMian up on in the next couple of months.

    Even though we booked a table inside for 4, there were lots of empty tables outside and being a balmy night, we asked if we could change for an outdoor table and at first was told no. We asked about two single tables we could see and asked if they were booked. Could we join them together? The waiter said yes we could and so after going back and forth for a few minutes, we ended up dining outside! No help was given, we set up our table after grabbing cutlery etc from another single table. Another menu - we grabbed it from another table. Ordering was relatively easy and the menu was awesome with some interesting meals. However the restaurant couldn't serve entree separate - most of the meals came out together. We ordered to share 8 meals including 3 entrees and there wasn't enough room on the table for our meals. Add to this wine bottles and glassware .... They were serving meals with no room and not taking empty glasses or plates away so bottles were being tipped over, plates were balancing off the edge of the table and it became a mess. Outside was noisy with people walking past and the kids playing outside but that was OK. The food was good but the night was so-so as we couldn't relax and enjoy. I suggest they get wine coolers on stands which would at least take the bottle off the table.

    Nice ambience and food. The best park of the experience was the fantastic customer service from Stella (not sure if she is the manger). Her service was very friendly and tentative which made the dinning experience memorable and enjoyable. Will definitely come back to Mumian because of the service and food.

    A mind blowing experience, from the interior to the glassware , from the steamed scallops to the XO Pipi, from the truffle xiao long bao to egg yolk king prawn, 4 Of us walk out full tummy and satisfied, will be back soon to try more dishes

    Disappointing. The wine was off - they gave another glass They didn't have the dish we specifically came in for They bought the 3 sauces that went with the dim sums after we had finished Duck didn't seem to be the half duck we ordered

    Arrived for a 7.30pm reservation on Saturday night and was left waiting for about 15 mins only to then be told if we stayed there would be a 2 hr or plus wait on food. We could also see that other patrons dining were complaining about wait times and service so we decided to leave. An absolute joke!

    Soooo impressed! Nice mix of modern and authentic Cantonese. Best pot stickers and buns ever! Order them, seriously, don’t question me. I know my dim sum. Great seating, ambiance and the staff were overly attentive which is t normally the case in Australia. Worth the time and money! You’re welcome.

    Loved it to bits! Came here for new years with my girlfriends and we loved the food. We asked the bartender to surprise us with drinks and they asked us a few questions about our preferences and came back with a perfect cocktail for each of us! 😍😍 Food was amazing as well everything so well prepared!

    Service on Christmas day was very slow, we got our dishes almost one by one within 2 hours of time. We even had to ask for the rice to be served. Staff did apologize for the delay but we would have appreciated a gesture on the bill instead of making us pay an extra public holiday surcharge.... Positive note is that the food was good.

    Had a fantastic time last night at MuMian. We were in the private area (which has a lazy Susan btw) but we kept the curtain open to the restaurant. The venue is perfectly located in Darling Quarter, and the interior is beautiful. The food was wonderful, we had the banquet and we were completely full! A really good variety of food offered and the cocktails are epic. But my favourite is the service- the service is absolutely outstanding. Made us laugh, were attentive and a delight. They saw my reaction to the banquet dessert which I wasn't familiar with (fried ice cream) and the team asked the kitchen to whip me up something extra because they noticed my reaction. Such attentiveness definitely doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for a wonderful evening ☺️

    The food produced was amazing. We could not criticize it at all. It was some of the best Cantonese food we have eaten. However, to say service was a shambles was an understatement. They were clearly understaffed and I expect that is due to the difficulties in getting staff. However when the owner and her husband kept arguing and yelling at the staff and at each other in the middle of the restaurant it became awkward. Many other tables were complaining. Drinks orders didn’t arrive or took over 40 mins. One of the other tables asked them to cancel the rest of their order and left. It is sad to see this as it had the potential to be an awesome meal.

    Our group of 10 came here for a Christmas dinner. Although there was a few service issues to start with the staff were all so kind and apologetic and they did a fantastic job considering it was their 4th week open and we were a large group! We sat at a beautiful big table that could be closed off to the rest of the restaurant. The cocktails were ok but the food was outstanding - amazing dumplings!! Would definitely go back.

    The Food was fantastic and the manager and Staff very attenuative. We were a work Christmas function a group of six and all commented on the food and service. We were seated in a semi enclosed private room but could hear the noise from other diners all enjoying the lively atmosphere. Highly recommended. Will definitely come again!!

    Love the interior of the place, it’s very modern and classy, food bring out fairly quickly to us, some highlight I can remember is steam squid, deep fried abalone and the chilli burrata cheese it’s quite interesting and tasty, Overall a nice experience for business lunch in a convenience location of darling quarter, will be back with client next time

    Such a gem, conveniently located right opposite the darling harbour parkland, we have been told the restaurant only open for a few days,the food is epic and service is right on point for us, my favour dish is the wasabi beef and of course the Kung pao chicken

    I think this restaurant will be my new favour Chinese restaurant in the city, so convenient located in Darling Quarter, the interior and the space are so up class and cool, we enjoyed dishes like different dim sums, Peking duck and XO pipi, Yum! one of the best Asian dine in places I have been to, Btw one of my friend is vegetarian, They catered so well for vegetarians too. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was just amazing. Will be back for my pre-theatre dinner next week.
