Greeted by a warm service, it was a bit confusing as the restaurant keeps a QR code - showing the menus in different languages and allowing direct orders - at the table, but staff asked patrons not to use it. Very friendly and helpful staff more than made up for the initial hiccup. There is no tap water option, so it might be a little daunting for the non-alcoholic traveler as alcoholic beverages are way more affordable than their non-alcoholic counterparts. The food arrived very quickly, the venison had a good bite, but was still juicy and tender, I especially like the broccoli added with almond chips which gave a crunchy punch. The napkin dumplings (Serviettenknödel) were an alternate for carbs, they are a bit bland on their own but you are supposed to take it with jam-gravy on the side. The apple strudel with vanilla ice cream is a Bavarian favorite of mine, and this one was delicious as well as preserving its traditional origins. The staff members remain attentive to the end, which made this a very satisfying meal. It is slightly pricey, but the dining experience is well worth it.

Food did not taste good. Spinach dumplings were stuffed with bread and had no taste. Told the server she didn’t care. Pork chops were tough and meat was not tender.

Alles, was wir gegessen haben, war sehr lecker (nur leider waren die Tische sehr eng gestellt, aber das war kein großes Problem). Die Präsentation war hervorragend – alle Mitarbeiter im Restaurant waren sehr freundlich. Gut, dass wir dort waren!

Wir sind normalerweise immer gern in der Münchner Stubn. Diesmal waren wir allerdings weder vom Essen, noch vom Service überzeugt. Kann mal passieren, wir kommen bestimmt trotzdem wieder.

Food was really great! A good choice - especially with mixed groups as the menu is very flexible. Staff were lovely, and helpful. We had the mixed plate for two - it was a VERY GENEROUS amount of food, and a good demonstration of the menu.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant, wenn ich in München bin. Gute bayerische Küche. Der Kaiserschmarn ist ein "muss"! Am besten teilen oder nur eine Kleinigkeit vorher essen. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service.
