So good! Calm and quite spot, servers were attentive, food was delicious. Even the napkins were the cutest thing, we didn’t want to use them!

La comida fue buena y el servicio también solo que al final pagamos y ya nos retirábamos cuando la mesera nos solicitó más propina que ella quería el 18% y solo le dimos el 10% y tuvimos que dar el resto y me parece acoso porque no fuimos más de 10 personas como en algunos restaurantes que ya te calculan la propina en este caso la mesera hizo el reclamo y de forma que varias personas del personal se dieron cuenta y no hicieron nada , muy desagradable , las propinas son voluntarias y van de acuerdo al servicio del 10 % al porcentaje que el comensal decida no la mesera , no vuelvo a ir a ese restaurant y no por la comida sino por las meseras.

I wanted to try Nagomi Izakaya for awhile as a potential date/sushi spot. Especially seeing the pictures and reviews. It was mostly positive, but some mixed as well, so I went solo in person today to see for myself. And it didn't disappoint. Booked on OpenTable and was the first one in. Service was fast with water and food being served promptly, though they were slow giving me my check at the end. I loved the interior vibe though. The outside is plain, but the inside is cozy, with the music not being too loud, which is perfect for conversation. I played it safe mainly having sushi entrees and basic app like Takoyaki. Delicious! And the quality was good. Didn't fall apart. Portion was enough for me. But trying it in person quelled any worries I had. A gem in that area. It might cost more for some items, but think of location and the various food options. I think it's worth it! And I'll be back soon!

Don’t judge this place on its storefront or decor. I was skeptical but tried it out based on reviews and the food was amazing! Best Japanese food I’ve had in many years. We will most certainly be back and will send friends.
