Great value with a Groupon voucher. Thai Green curry is amazing! Just found drinks a bit expensive and didn’t like a service charge being added on the bill even though the waitress said we could have it removed.

We opted for set menu B . The platter came out and was delicious. The spicy soup came out and was let down by the lack of spice in it however it was a a nice soup. The main dishes came out and this is where it went downhill dramatically. All three dishes came out and two of the three dishes where massively let down as there was an over powering taste of bicarbonate, this definitely ruined our date night . We didn’t complain at the time as we felt it was not worth it as the chefs and waiters clearly work hard and we just feel this may of been an “off “ day . If this was to be rated out of 10 it would be a 6/10 mainly for the quick service and politeness of the staff.

Lovely food in a relaxed and calm restaurant - we went at 6:15pm on Sunday. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu. The staff were polite and the food was served quickly.

The food was lovely although a little expensive, the ambience was great with live music (could have been louder) and the magician topped off the night for us. Overall a great experience and we will be returning.

Lunch menu : chicken wing starter 3 pieces, chicken Pad Thai Lunch a la carte : ribs, 5 small pieces poor portion size, pork stir fry inedible fat and gristle; £20 ( no rice or noodles) We felt that the lunch menu offer was good value but the a La carte very disappointing in terms of portion size and quality of the meat

What a terrible experience, the food was ok but that’s about it , the service was abysmal and that’s on a Wednesday evening when it was hardly busy. Got fed up trying to grab some attention to order drinks that I had to go to the bar to get them myself , can’t remember the name of our server but she would be better in a job that doesn’t involve any contact with other people and involves a very little attention span. The wait between our starters and mains was 40 minutes which I could understand if it was busy but the restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full. All in all a very poor evening spoilt by the crap service. Will definitely not be returning

The noise from the band was a bit overpowering and prevented conversation (despite booking in advance, we were sat very near to the band). It wasn't until after the main course that we became acclimatised to the noise level.

Starters were awful. The Thai fish cakes are basically just round pieces of rubber and the salt and pepper ribs came in a sauce, they weren’t good. The mains however were really nice which redeemed it. The service was ok, nothing to shout about. Wouldn’t hurry back.

Service was terrible. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for soup. Tried to get the attention of the same waitress twice to ask how long the food would be and both times she ignored us. I asked for a glass of Soda water 3 times and it never came. We had a set mean and than chicken main course was left untouched it was extremely dry. We were brought hot plates for our main course but waited that long for it they were cold when it came. When I paid the bill I told the waitress everything and simply got sorry for your experience. Won’t be going back again.

First time at Nam Ploy, Middlebrook Food was a little more expensive than I would normally pay, but I think it was the cost of drinks that bumped it up. Food was excellent though as was the entertainment.. Will definitely return
