The service, while friendly and attentive, was marked by problems navigating limited english skills of staff. n fairness, the staff are primarily Chinese speakers. But the food served was, in one important case, inedible because of the dominance of fish bones. The other dish was terribly spicey after the waitress was asked for a dish that was not spicey.

This is honestly one of the most incredible meals I’ve ever had. We were just blown away by the quality. Amazing staff too. Couldn’t fault it

The restaurant is very nice. The service was excellent and very friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We made I think some bad food choices. The spicy duck was good but hard to eat as it was extremely boney. The sweet and sour sea bass was mostly batter - not much fish and very sweet. The dumplings were nice .

Second visit to Nans and as excellent as the first. Such beautiful, well created, flavoursome food. Staff so courteous and friendly. Can’t wait to return to Dublin for another visit. Recommend 100%

We had a really delicious meal in the private dining room. Daphney our waiter was very attentive. The pork belly was sensational! Will ne back.

This was our second time visiting and we felt we got unreal food for a reasonable price. All of the dishes used high quality ingrediants with unique flavours. We left feeling full and satisfied and the staff were extremley attentive and friendly.

Gorgeous food. Lovely staff but THAT door had a Gail blowing through it. Food came out slowly and our plates were never switched out.

Service is great, people working there are very nice and friendly. The environment is nice, clean, quiet and professional. The food quality is great and fresh. However the price is a little bit higher than it supposed to be.

My Chinese friend recommended me this place and I’ve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for ages, it was amazing. We tried Xiaolongbao, Prawn(kungpao) and Braised pork belly and they were unreal. Definitely going back to try fish and chicken as well. Plus, staff were really nice as well. Thank you!

Excellent service, staff were so accommodating. Food was delicious, the only flaw with the place is the door is constantly ajar so it’s quite cold when you take off your jacket inside.

I made a booking on Open Table for 22.00, and arrived at the restaurant exactly on time to find that they were already locking up and that the kitchen had closed a good while earlier. A total waste of my time. They need to learn how to manage the Open Table reservation system.

The food here is authentic, fresh and beautifully presented. We ordered the turbot with asparagus and Chile and we were so pleased it was actually spicy! The dumplings were amazing. Our green vegetable dish was crisp and flavorful. We highly recommend!

Starters came out about 2-3 minutes after ordering which felt very rushed and gave the impression that the food wasn’t freshly cooked. After the starters we were asked if we wanted our mains straight away or if we would like to wait a few minutes. We opted to wait a few minutes so that we could relax and enjoy the dining experience. My main course then arrived however my boyfriend’s main didn’t arrive for another 10 minutes meaning we didn’t get to eat together and overalls put a damper on our overall experience. Overall I wouldn’t be rushing back to Nan.

Well what a find. We are a well traveled group of 6 people and are quite fussy about food and wine. Nan was amazing in as much that it’s not your normal Chinese restaurant menu. There is an amazing authenticity about their menu with plenty of surprises. Make sure you check about the cold duck starter as it has bones too. Not everyones choice. We had a huge variety of starters and mains and they were simply delicious. Staff were so helpful and although the restaurant has only been running for the last 6 months. We wish them all the best for the future. If we are back here again I think we will return for sure.

A warm welcome on a very wet night . We had the prawn and bamboo dim sum . Then the scallops and sweet and sour sea bass . Absolutely outstanding - a return visit is a must. The staff are excellent . Highly recommend

I had had by chance found this restaurant . When my son came back to Dublin with his cousins, my daughter suggested returning . Perfect place to choose: in town,casual with excellent , very fresh food. Excellent service . Just a good mix of attentive , but not intrusive . We had a great evening.

Favourite restaurant in Dublin. Staff are so pleasent and the food is incredible. Pork belly is an absolute must. While it is on more of the expensive side, I must say it is worth every penny.
