   We had an enjoyable experience in the resturant..welcoming staff on a wet night..had a pre dinner drinks.no accompanied snacks..menu was interesting..two dishes were for sharing..the veg.had quite a lot of salt on them..my guest choose lamb and expressed the view the belly was too fatty..as it was a birthday a slice of cake and candle was presented which was very kind..a good experience was had

   I was really disappointed with my experience having heard some much positive feedback. We went to Neighbourhood for brunch and although we received a warm welcome and were seated promptly we had to wait a long time for our food and when it arrived it was very underwhelming. I had the potato and onion frittata and it was dry and lacked seasoning. Such a disappointment. My mother had pancakes with confit duck leg which she said was dry. When I went into the toilet all of the cubicles had no toilet roll. There were other ladies in there at the time and we all agreed that this was unsatisfactory. A girl came in to replenish them but it was too late. The bill came to 61e for 2 x drinks and 2 x brunch dishes that were on the small side. The peach aperol spritz was lovely but overall it was a major letdown.

   Another fantastic experience at Neighbourhood. Brought my Mum there for brunch on Mother’s Day. The food was excellent, the restaurant busy but with a relaxed vibe, and the service really sets it apart. Each and every member of staff is personable, calm, attentive and so well trained at their job. An absolute pleasure.

   Went her for mothers day brunch, interior of restaurant is lovely & there was good buzz there even though we were in early. We ordered coffees 1st & they took 15 mins to arrive & got the order slightly wrong (received 2 coconut lattes instead of flat whites) wasn't big deal for us. Good menu & it tasted nice but wasn't amazing (muffins black pudding was a bit cold, beef in hash was a bit tasteless). We ordered 2 cocktails which were lovely. Our 2 english muffins were missing the fried potatoes which we only realized at the end we did mention to waitress just to let her know. Nothing was deducted from bill. All in all food was ok but for that price would expect it to be better.

   We 4 in total dined here for dinner on St Patrick's evening for a birthday dinner. The interior is nice lots of space between tables noise levels were good. We had 4 small plates of which the best were the bone marrow and scallops, trout tartare very heavy on the dill, and 2 snacks the beef dripping potatoes and the cheese croquettes nothing very special. The mains were outstanding we share the steak cooked to perfection with an amazing salad, venison was very tender and tasty and the Monkfish was lovely though maybe a little undercooked. The desserts were underwhelming the best was the brown butter cake and the worse by far was the cheese-type dessert with the strongest-smelling cheese that was absolutely overbearing. We shared a lovely Malbec and one of our parties had a rhubarb whiskey cocktail that was really tasty. If not for deserts this would have been the perfect dinner. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and was very attentive. The staff were all smiling and friendly except for the person who seated us may need to smile a little. Will go back to try the brunch menu.

    Really enjoyed it. Thought the wine servings for the glass of wine were quite miserable! I only got a decent size glass of wine when the host served it to me...the other two I drank in a few mouthfuls...so maybe an option for small or large glass of wine would be nice.

    I booked the table because of a stellar review in the Irish times, and the food was indeed amazing. Extraordinary ideas and flavours, ingredients rarely used -sweetbreads, bone marrow - in unique ways. Wait servers were charming, individual, helpful. Owner prowled the restaurant, watching, chatting, thinking. Fabulous elegant glassware combined with chunky pottery plates and the lightest of cutlery , casually set on beautiful wooden tables, all raising awareness of the food and drink experience. This is an extraordinary project. BUT Great dinner as above however the four-foot round table was way too big for four people - annoyingly so. We had to scoot around to get closer which left us in a sort of line. I want to be able to talk to everyone without strain. On request, No possibility of moving to a more suitable table was offered/possible . To compound the problem, Bare concrete walls, floor, tables render acoustics harsh / noise (including taped music) bouncing everywhere - a few big wall hangings to absorb it all a bit? Wine menu is crazy expensive.

    First time at this new restaurant. Food was lovely and a real treat. Place is lovely and the staff very friendly. Only negative for me was the noise. The acoustics could be better. However will definitely return.

    Had the frittata. Underwhelming. Suggest sourdough bread on side to accompany. Also the freshly squeezed juice was anything but. Tasted like cordial. Limited brunch menu overall. Need more cakes on too. Although it was delicious. Waitress service could be better. Too chatty and opinionated

    Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Good choice of wine and delicious cocktails. Food was really lovely but felt the snacks main courses were a little overpriced. Would definitely go back though.

    Our 2nd time to visit , unbelievable that staff remembered us and welcomed us back , the maitre D is exceptional , lovely cocktail by the very attentive mixologist while we waited for our table , food was outstanding , it was extremely busy but the attention to detail is second to none , every member of staff goes the extra mile , whoever is responsible for customer service training is doing an amazing job , never have I encountered such a professional group of young staff who are clearly proud of what they do and happy to offer advice on food and wine choices , this is the place to eat in Kildare

    Absolutely fantastic food. Super fresh and some unusual but brilliant combinations. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a great night here with friends. Highly recommended.

    Excellent food. Pricy and limited wine list. But the major issue is noise level. The restaurant wasn’t full and there were no particularly noisy tables but it was difficult to have a conversation at a table for four. This needs to be improved before we would revisit

    Neighbourhood is a bright welcoming restaurant with a friendly staff, cosy ambiance with generously spaced out tables which afford privacy. The menu is as one might expect from the provenance of the key staff, is classy, tempting and caters for all tastes. The execution and presentation of the dishes was first class. We had scallops to start . Superbly cooked with a mousse with white cocoa beans. Small dish but bursting with taste. For the main course my partner had venison once again cooked to perfection. I had the monkfish which was really delicious. There were two main courses on the menu for sharing, turbot and T bone steak. These will definitely be on our list for our next visit. The wine list is eclectic with many lesser known great vintages waiting to be discovered. Prices start at approximately E40 upwards. I would highly recommend Neighbourhood for either that special occasion or for just that week night or weekend dinner.

    Beautiful brunch with unique menu options served in an ambient setting. This definitely is a smart casual brunch with great brunch cocktails along with delicious food. The pancakes with the duck confit were superb and the frittata was excellent. Will definitely return.

    Neighbourhood is such a great addition to Naas! It's very clear a lot of thought went into both the food and wine menus. The food is stunning. Can't wait to come back and try more of their dinner menu.

    Service poor. Food was okay but expected much higher quality for the prices paid. Would not be rushing back. A lot of better restaurants in naas both value wise and food. Food and drinks were slow to come out side dishes were 10 minutes after main course. Overcharged on the bill. When we complained felt like we weren’t listened to and gave €6 off a €350 bill. Better not giving a discount if that is all. I allow that it’s a new restaurant and they are finding their feet but customer service is paramount but that failed in spades. Will not be recommending

    We waited quite a while on our table , booked for 8.45 didnt seat till 9.30 Staerters where amazing , my wife had Scallops ,i had the bone marrow 10/10 Mains i had the Veal again 10/10 , but my wife had Monkfish which was under cooked, no one checked on our table . she didnt eat it only the outer . Dessert we didnt eat , not to our taste ! Cheese we did Wine - our server recommend , great choice

    We went for brunch. I had the mussels and my wife had the corned beef. Both were disappointing. The cider mussels were tiny and tasteless. They were presented on a thick slice of toasted bread, there was supposed to be aioli, probably under the bread but it was anonymous in terms of adding flavour. also the portion was quite small. Similarly , the corned beef was conspicuous by its scarcity on the plate which was dominated by the potato. Also very little evidence of wild mushrooms.Bad value for 18 euro. Overall, the plates lacked flavour. the ingredients which might have added flavour such as the wild mushrooms or aioli were not much in evidence. Very disappointing.
