Lovely restaurant and very professional and attentive staff. Great atmosphere, dont be in a rush this is a slow dining experience. Sunday roast menu was much better than the last visit. Plenty of choice and food that wasn't as adventurous as the last time we ate. Can only fault the place on 1 thing and that's value. Very expensive. We ate the Sunday roast with veggies include, 2 starters, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine (€45) tipped in at over €230 for 4 people, for what is essentially posh sunday carvery. But we knew this when we booked. So not a complaint just an observation. If they can figure out how to do cheaper options at the same quality of service they'll be out the door with bookings.

A long overdue friends catchup over really delicious food. We all had a different starter and main and couldn’t fault any dish. Taste, presentation was faultless. Fab ambience and attentive service.

Food was lovely, not spectacular but maybe that was because it was the festive menu. The restaurant was borderline cold but it was -3 outside so they possibly hadn’t adjusted the heating! I would go again when the normal menu is back and it’s not so cold outside!

Very good night out with excellent food. Modern setting, with ample space between tables to permit private conversation. Service very good but not invasive. Would recommend for special occasions and treats.

Trout tartar & velouté starters were excellent. Venison med rare, again really good although a lot of beetroot flavour on plate. The broccoli side with almonds was a winner, potato side was good but heavy. We had just 1 dessert, with prunes, that didn't really float my boat. With no tablecloths on the wooden tables, it felt like we were sitting down for pub grub initially. The flooring is unusual in that it has a waxy coating which is not great for heels. Atmosphere is low key. Saying that, the bar with the floor to ceiling drinks wall is beautiful piece of furniture. Would recommend for the delicious food.

Last night our table of 8 agreed our experience was outstanding and 10 out of 10 on all fronts. Brian who waited on our table was brilliant and so knowledgeable on the food and wine selection. Neighbourhood is a real class restaurant and one that won’t disappoint. Pat O’ Brien

Best food we’ve had in a long time with relaxed and informal service. The trout tartare (a cross between sashimi and a poke bowl) is the best thing I’ve tasted in a couple of years. The peanut butter parfait was delicate, creamy with a truly crunchy hazelnut chocolate slab and a set caramel sauce that was just perfectly this side of burnt. Fillet steak was delicious but not as stand out maybe as the other two; that’s not to take from it, it was perfectly rare, absolutely tender and was accompanied by a generous portion of really fresh béarnaise sauce. Great value.

It was overpriced. Cocktails had no garnishes or fancy touches, food was ok, but I was expecting higher level for the price, wouldn't rush back unfortunately.

Excellent quality food in a good atmosphere. Waiting staff were helpful and knowledgeable. It is an expensive restaurant but the experience and food is on par.

The food was good and as it was our first time we probably ordered too much. The lighting was far too bright. Spot lights shining down on our table. This needs to be addressed in a hurry. The bright lights ruin the atmosphere in my opinion.

Need to expand potato option. Not everyone likes cheese and onion flavour potatoes. Suggest mash. Dessert too big and too sweet. It was the chocolate one. Need more time in between each course. Offer free drink after meal to encourage people to use the front part of restaurant which us underused in my view.

first time at Neighbourhood. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated, having a spot to grab a drink prior to your dinner is a huge plus. Seating is comfortable. our server Hannah was attentive, topping up our water and drinks. Menu and options were explained really well. Food was delicious, scallops sensational. The pistachio cake ❤️ overall we enjoyed our night and will be back for sure.

Visited Neighbourhood for Sunday lunch and was very impressed. The food was excellent and although a little bit on the.pricey side for a Sunday Lunch was well worth it. The atmosphere was a little bit lacking due to the restaurant being fairly quiet. Service was attentive and good but a few little things drooped from 5 to 4 stars. My soup, Potato and Leek with Chorizo and Mussels was excellent but there was no sign of the Guinness Bread as promised. Also the soup came with a bowl only, no plate below or side plate so nowhere but the table to place your spoon.. I didn't notice the lack of bread until later as I was enjoying the soup that much! We both had the Sirloin Roast Beef, one pink and one we'll done.. both excellent, cooked as promised and excellent sides of Veg and duck fat roast potatoes. Dessert shared was again very good, and whilst Rhubarb and Custard was described on the menu a Rhubard puree and Créme Anglaise foam would be a more accurate description... yummy but not what was expected.... and a particular pet peeve of mine.. coffee served well before the dessert.... please please please restaurants... coffee with the dessert not before. Also my double espresso came us some sort of soap dish or misshapen pottery ashtray instead of a cup. You're impressing no one with that. Cups are fine. All that said, the food shone above all my little gripes and I will definitely be back for the trout or the pork, which looked fantastic (served to a nearby table). Just need to save up for an evening meal there... on the wish list.

Attended for lunch. The only fish dish on the menu was a breaded fillet in a bun which is similar to what one would get in a fast food outlet. I was very disappointed with this. I got a side of broccoli which was cold when presented and I also got a side of chips which lacked the crispness and freshness of the ones I got on my last visit. The cake for desert was deliciously moist. Service was friendly and efficient.

Lovely meal for my mothers birthdsy. All liked their dishes. Service was excellent and very friendly. The restaurant was fairly quiet at 1.30 which was unusual. Salads are really only starters size but menu reads as though they are full size. Other than than that slight quibble, meal was excellent. I recommend the hake.

I was here a few weeks ago and everything was 💯 Last night was very disappointing as I was looking forward to the same food as before. The food was good quality but ruined by the fact that it was reheated or cold! Plates were cold. Service was excellent but I expect to be completely satisfied within this price range.
