   The food selection for the set meal for the night choice was extremely not gastronomic or tasty and I'm used to $$$$ restaurants but this I was surprised and disappointed because the atmosphere the employees and so on it's amazing but going in a restaurant it's mostly because of the food and that was a big disappointment the first course and the main dish for me and my friend her meal was different then mine and still not good 😐.

   Appetizers and dessert were decent. Main courses were mediocre at best. The mussels were quite small and slimy with a large number of them unopened. Pasta was ok but not hot when it came out.

   Nice egg Benedictines with a personal touch. Dining rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. Service was very good even considering how busy they were.

   The food was great, service was ok not amazing. However, the sitting was not pleasant at all very tight space between the tables. So much so that my friend drink got knocked over by another guest while trying to get to her sit.

   Food quality was good, but expectations based on location, fame of the restaurant and this type of event were higher. The server was not good. Super long (literally like 15min for ketchup) for everything even when there were only 4 other people on our side of the restaurant. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I put no in recommend it to a friend because I’m debating.

   J’ai bien aimé la dernière que j’y suis allée mais la fin de semaine dernière nous avons été déçus. Le service était très très long… et la qualité servie était décevante. J’ai dû mentionner à la serveuse que je n’étais pas satisfaite c’était trop cuit, froid et peu, mais j’ai eu un très bon service. Ce n’était pas de sa faute je crois. Elle m’a rapporté un autre plat. Le service était très long surtout avec un enfant.. même pour un dessert.

   We chose from the “ Happening Montreal “ menu and were delighted with our choices. The cheese and pomegranate appetizer was divine and our friend enjoyed her beef tartar. We all chose the mussels in garlic broth for our main dish and although the sauce was tasty it was not the steaming bowl of our expectations. Dessert was excellent - both the pear mousse and the chocolate cake were garnished with lovely fresh berries and assorted nuts. Our before dinner cocktails and after dinner coffees/aperitifs were extra, but all excellent, and quite unique in combinations. I particularly enjoyed the spicy tequila with the jalapeño pepper. Service was friendly, attentive and very accommodating. An excellent evening.

    Lovely space and a good breakfast menu. It was a limited menu before 11am, which we weren’t aware of prior to arriving, but the limited menu had everything we needed and it was likely the reason the restaurant was much less crowded than other spots in the area. Worthwhile tradeoff to me.

    Wow from the start, open an account with open table.ca, the communication with the restaurant by message texte to confirm our reservation was excellente. The best part was the STAFF'S and the FOOD PERFECTION EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT THANK YOU FOR A WUNDERFULL EVENING.

    All was good, except for the bar service and knowledge. (we sat at the bar upon arrival before dinner) The bartender was clearly out of his depth. We ordered extra-dry martinis. They came loaded with vermouth. We said "we can't drink them" - my husband, in the end, trying to explain what an extra- dry martini was, finally said "just vodka- no vermouth" since that was easier than trying to get the notion across. So, the b-tender came with vodka in a glass. So, we had to start all over again. It was not a language barrier - we are bilingual Montrealers who speak both languages perfectly. So, some adjustment needed there. We also saw other drinks "returned" for various reasons. all of them having to do with "wrong recipes", for example - just "standard drinks" - nothing fancy.

    Overall it was not bad, but the service at the bar was not very good. It took a long time to get served and the barmaid was not really friendly. The appetizers were really good, but there was 3 choices from the entree that were not available and they changed the lamb shank for lamb chops, but they were not good. The sea bass for two was $72 but only came with 4 pieces of zucchini’s, we had to order French fries as a side, although it was good, it was a bit expensive for that plate.

    Amazing place! Food is always on point and went above my expectations. We had a New Years brunch and everything was amazing, food was delicious, portions generous and price was excellent for the quality we got. We are coming back for sure!

    Food was good/great tending toward good. It was a three course NYE early seating dinner prix fixe, which was a fabulous value, but may explain why the food was only good/great rather than extra ordinary. The waiter was a little hyper and brusque, but he was very busy. The wine selection was good.

    Visiting Quebec and decided to check this place out. Table near window with glaring lights that could not be adjusted. Soon after sitting down, table next to us dropped wine bottle and wine went everywhere! No apologies from anyone. Food choices were ok but nothing spectacular and the young waitress that tried to take care of us needs more training. Overall underwhelming.

    the service was very poor, we waited almost one hour to receive our food; coffee was not good, milk cam after 15 minutes than coffee cold -very disappointed; food was not so great

    I booked a christmas diner with my family and we were so disappointed. The « table d’hôte » was not worth 70$. One meal was totally burned. They offered us something to replace it and it was a salad with cold cooked vegetables. The server didnt know is wine card so when we asked for advice he didnt know what to suggest us. The plates were so small that i was still hungry after the 3 services(im a women) and i usually dont eat that much. It was christmas eve and there was no music so no ambiance. In between each service we waited more then 30 min to get our plates. And at the end we asked for separate receipt and the server messed all the receipt he had to go back 2 times. For 115$ night i was so disappointed and i will never go back there.

    We had nice time in Nelli's atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the design, spacious place full of light and intimacy of the place. Food was good. The only thing that can be improved is the service: Noone has greeted me when I entered the place so I had to find my colleagues myself, Water was never refilled, we asked for a teaspoon to mix sugar in coffee and never get one, so my colleague had to use a table knife to do so, I asked for a coffee after my meal but noone came back to me, so I had to look for a waiter and ask for one . There was a feeling of not getting a proper service and care, it's a little detail but it matters.

    It is not the first time that I have brunch or lunch at Nelli and it is always pleasant . But last time it was very disapointing . Our plates must have been left on the counter beacause by the time we finally got them everything was dry and cold . The staff was innatentive . It was very hard to get their attention to order coffee . If we had not asked for our food we would still be waiting . They seemed to have plenty of time to break the dishes !!!!

    Cela nous a pris 30 minutes avant qu’un serveur vint à notre table après avoir été assis. Il était très bête, et n’est jamais venu nous voir pour remplir notre verre d’eau ou nous proposer autre chose. Nous avons dû demander le reçu à un autre serveur qui passait et avons attendu un autre 30 minutes par la suite avant de revoir notre serveur. Le service était mauvais, par contre la nourriture était excellente.
