my mom and i decided to try german food for the first time and chose nick’s german kitchen for valentine’s day. overall, it was a nice place to visit and experience something different. i ordered the chicken spaetzle and absolutely loved it—very flavorful and comforting. my mom had the chicken paprika schnitzel. she enjoyed the dish overall, but wasn’t a big fan of the spaetzle paired with it, as she felt it was a bit dry. since we went on valentine’s day, it was understandably very loud inside. the restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and the tables are set quite close together, which doesn’t allow for much privacy or an intimate dining experience. that said, we still enjoyed trying something new, and it was a nice spot to visit at least once. i’m glad we gave it a try.

We loved it as usual. We went at 4:45 and it was quiet and comfortable. The owner is wonderful and so was our waitress. Still the best Jager schnitzel I have ever had.

Our experience at this establishment is always a good one. Celebrating my wife's birthday couldn't be better. She thoroughly enjoyed it.
