About this restaurant

NIU Kitchen is a restaurant serving bold and flavorful Spanish cuisine. All the food is prepared in the scratch kitchen with locally sourced ingredients. Its open floor plan takes advantage of the gorgeous Miami weather, with the entire dining room acting like a giant breezeway. The decor is derived from the style of Northern Spain, known as the Catalan region. The menu at NIU is simple, just a single page that houses the appetizers, entrees and desserts. Most of the appetizers are traditional charcuterie boards with specialty cheeses and Iberico ham. A large percentage of the menu is taken up by fresh seafood, which makes sense considering NIU's proximity to the ocean. Guests can have their pick of mussels in garlic and tomato sofregit, anchovies with grated tomato and crushed potato chips, and clams in a secret family sauce. NIU also has a fully stocked bar featuring creative cocktails and fine spirits.
