Nobu - London
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.
Nobu was outstanding- the food and the service. A must for any trip to London
Another fantastic evening at Nobu. The food was delicious and special mention to our waitress who was helpful, chatty and friendly
The staff was rude
A beautiful experience with a fantastic service!!!
You sat me next to Ludacris. My colleague and I had the time of our lives!
The service is good but the food is simply amazing, we had a fantastic birthday dinner.
Nothing like any other Nobu I've ever been to. Very noisy, ambiance was poor and lacking any charm. Food was good but not outstanding.
Excellent waitress helped us to choose from extensive menu. Food was exquisite.
Bland and tasteless. Not the Nobu of the past. Much better Japanese in London than this.
Best Japanese in the world. I eat the same thing every time and it seems to just get better.
Very noisy - too many tables squashed together. Made the ambience terrible and very hard to hear anything other than very loud diners. Food good but overpriced given the overall experience
Excellent food would go back again.
Great food and service. It’s a super dining experience although at times quite loud. Difficult to have a decent conversation.
Just excellent as usual. The set lunch menu is good value for money
This was the third time we went to Nobu in London. The place is nice but too big comparing with other Nobu we have already visited.
Service was a bit confusing, various waiters serving us so not very 'personal'.
Noise was a bit high. Food was good, some dishes were outstanding, others were just OK.
I went to Nobu for my birthday meal with a few friends. The ambience makes it look like a canteen. I know it’s probably not the best choice for vegetarians but I wanted to see what the fuss was about and oh boy! Was I disappointed? Yes! The menu doesn’t explain what the dishes mean. I ordered a vegetarian one at the recommendation of the waiter and it was a pot of boiled and tasteless vegetables. I have never eaten a worse meal before this and that too for this price.
My friends were happy with their steak and salmon dish but not something they would go back for.
I’m definitely not going back.
Delicious food, kind staff. Would definitely recommend cod and lobster tempura as mains.
Food was very tasty. Services was good. Plates are to share. Overall very enjoyable evening.
Our favorite restaurant in London. Very professional waiters and the food is over the top always
Great food still.
Amazing food! Just be prepared to pay for it :) £££££
Delicious produce. Good Food
Awesome! We were a large party and our waiter was incredible with keeping up with us and assisting with food order!
Food and waitress was lovely. They took an extremely long time to give us the bill and card machine
The food was excellent. Our waiter was brilliant and very helpful.
The only fault was our wait when we arrived. I received an email and a call to ensure that my party was not more than 15 minutes late for the reservation. We arrived on time and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. No complimentary drink was offered or item on our bill comped. A bit disappointing seeing as the rest of the dining experience was fantastic.
More like a nightclub, unable to speak through dinner. Alcohol an screaming like in a youth disco.
We hasted through dinner to get out of there.
Unacceptable. Never experienced that in ANY restaurant. Especially not in such a (expected) hogh-class restaurant.
A shadow of Nobu Manhattan / New York.
Very nice food - we had the tasting menu; good but not great service. Room was cacophonous. And very, very expensive. An interesting insight into how the very rich like to spend a Saturday evening. I wouldn't go to Nobu again, but liked the food enough to want to hunt out other Japanese restaurants in London where I'm sure there is better value to find.
Food was nice but felt the staff were rushing the service, would have liked to have the next course serviced when everyone has finished eating the first.
Fantastic good and great service. Shall return for the next meal.
The food was below average and service was even worse. Three people complained about wrong billing and it happened with us as well! Really a horrible experience given the amount we had to pay!
Excellent, even after so many years since my last visit. Amazing!
Overall a good experience - food quality cannot be questioned its second to none however the restaurant itself could have a better atmosphere and although we had good service overall we were asked to hurry up and vacate the table just it was obvious that we were leaving anyway which marred the experience slightly and was a completely unnecessary intervention.
The sashimi was really fresh and good unfortunately there was no chawanmushi.
Has changed significantly in past few years -some dishes (ie black cod) remain excellent but others were mediocre and less inspired and quality wasn’t commensurate with price.
Fantastic food. Drinks overpriced though - £20 for a martini!
Sehr spannendes Erlebnis. Wir kommen wieder.
This Nobu Old Park Lane in London was the worst restaurant from all other Nobu’s I have been to including NYC, LA and Milan. The sushi was badly rolled, tasted like a usual neighbourhood sushi restaurant. The warm dishes were excellent as usual though. Ambience: a definite NO! Extremely loud and furniture like a work canteen differs quite a lot from the other restaurants of Nobu.
Disappointing overall, needs urgent attention!
