Beautiful spot for a post work supper. The food is fresh and well presented. The team are friendly and attentive. Well decorated too. Definitely will be back
A real dissapointment this place. The pizza is great but its the only thing. Dishes are too small and over priced. The staff is not good either very poor English. I gave it a good chance as I went there a few times. I wont come back again.
It must be 8th time we go to O’Ver over the years. Once again we had a fantastic experience, the food is impeccable and service is perfect. I may have to move closer to the restaurant!
O ver all it was a great time. Great food. Great time
Excellent service, good food. Super location for Menieres Chocolate Factory . Would recommend - have eaten here before
First visit and very satisfied with the experience (which was a business dinner). Food was excellent and reasonable value at £130 for 3 excluding drinks for starter and main. Staff were charming, very thoughtful and made good suggestions. Would definitely book again if looking for Italian near London Bridge
Fantastic food with great atmosphere. Favourite place to go in London Bridge.
I think the place is a bit overrated. A lot of people involved serving a table. At the end we had to get a bill ourselves as no one came. Food was ok. Great wine! We had a table for 3, very small, had to sit very tight.
Best Italian restaurant in London! Instant report with the staff, amazing recommendations especially the specials! The past dish I had, had Italian sausage and nuts amongst other things, and in spite of the fact that I always love spicy food, this was so tasty without being overpowering! Totally amazing! Everything recommended to us was the best!
My only comment is that it's easy to get carried away ordering starters and wine and dessert and end up with a FAT bill :-)
Lovely place for dinner: great intimate atmosphere, lovely staff, super nice simple interiors and great pizza!
Fantastic restaurant, food is very fresh and tasty & an addition is the interior design is absolutely gorgeous!
The food was excellent. However, the booking time was only for an hour and a half. Now, they did warn us before we sat down but the whole meal they kept rushing us and telling us how much time was left. This became a stressful dining experience. While I would recommend the food (try the aubergine!), I would not recommend the service/experience.
This is climbing the ranks as my favourite restaurant in London. It’s really good napolitan food.
Still to me the best napolitan pizza place in London. Always difficult not to stop for a bite when I’m around.
We needed a restaurant near the Menier Chocolate Theatre and I struck lucky with O'ver.
Very good Italian with more interesting dishes than a normal Italian restaurant. If we go to this area again, we would certainly eat here.
The Neapolitan street food selection - specifically, the frittatine - are to die for! And the pizza too.
Outstanding quality of food. It’s proper Italian food
Maybe a little bit expensive but it was worth it
Very reliable. Always a lovely ambiance. Great service and perfect pasta.
Excellent service, the food was amazing, I really enjoyed the good quality of ingredient and attention to details
We were asked if we wanted water 'for the table' (which usually means a jug of tap water), but were served bottled, and later charged for it. The food was really tasty, great presentation and the pasta fresh, but for mains at £17 / £20 the servings were too small to be honest. A normal portion would be about half again. The wine list was disappointing. Predominantly if not all European. What about the southern hemisphere?
I could shrug this off and possibly consider coming back on a special occasion as the food was really nice, however, the service totally put me off. One word: overbearing. They had two waiters, working about 6 tables, who between them asked us 5 times during the mains if the food was okay. FIVE. They rushed us into ordering, bothered us while eating, then took away my drink glass I kid you not one second after I had put it down empty, and my partners dish away while he was still finishing the last mouthful. This is not a nice way to treat customers, we felt rushed and irritated as they asked to clear away things on the table while we still had bread to eat and drinks to drink! Yet, when it came to getting the bill from these same waiters, I asked 3 times and it never arrived. Had to ask the host instead, and also asked for the service charge to be removed. When asked why, I said words to the above effect, to which they said yes, we have heard that feedback before.
O'Ver, have a word with the waiters. Act on the feedback. Lovely food, beautifully presented, but the wait staff ruined the experience.
Really good dinner. Nice location. Friendly staff
Fabulous food. Front of house very unfriendly!! Very hectic and a little regimented with tables.
I called the day before our table reservation to add a guest and confirm the booking but during the day of the booking I received a missed call with no voice message left. When I arrived we had been moved from the main restaurant and squashed into a table in the basement ( because I didn’t answer the call!). The waiter accidentally mixed up wines in the table then, instead of just replacing with the wine we had chosen, offered some quite strange alternative arrangement. I have been several times before, been delighted with the food and service and recommended to my friends but not sure I’d risk it again. Expensive but not good experience or value this time.
Food was a little disappointing for the price. Customer service on the whole great but I was turned away and left to wait outside as I was 5 mins early before the restaurant opened
Honestly, its Italian food - don't complicate it. Expensive for what it is entirely mediocre.
You know when you go to a restaurant and you have a taste in mind for that specific cuisine, this just doesn't hit the spot.
Sorry if this comes across negative but if you want a good Italian restaurant for to Olivo Mare or any of their family owned locations in Belgravia for a truly well done traditional dish.
Excellent pappardelle with ragu and wonderful chocolate and hazelnut desert.
Delicious food! Lovely friendly staff; very calming atmosphere felt very luxurious, will definitely return
Fantastic food - delicious! Lovely, friendly waiting staff. Will defo be back!
Best pizza in London!
Very attentive service. Anti pasti starter a bit heavy on the pancetta with no other meats. A bit fatty for my taste and very bland. Nice burrata but no salt and pepper on table so missed being able to add some taste. Green salad was copious but again taking plain to the extreme. Pizza, whilst nice, did not come with all the ingredients we ordered. When we mentioned it to waiter he said he would take missing item off the bill but of course it was still there when we came to pay and we had to ask again to remove it. This time I asked for pepper to season salad on my plate but waiter added some to the main salad bowl without warning, which was presumptuous as not sure the person sharing with me wanted pepper. Also there was a 1.5 hr turn around on the table which is a bit short to enjoy a relaxing dining experience. We we were moved to a waiting area to finish our drinks which made us feel like we were on a conveyor belt. Altogether I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant and would not rush to return. It’s strength is it’s service. Staff very obliging if a little forgetful!
Staff are lovely and food very tasty but portion sizes are tiny. My friend and I (small ladies) both ordered the ravioli as a main course and had to order a pizza afterwards as we were still hungry. 6 pieces of ravioli for £16!!
Consistently fabulous including the best pizza that I have ever eaten.
Great pizzas and wine range. Unusual liqueurs too. Highly recommended
Fantastic restaurant with very tasty food and amazing customer service.
Really excellent authentic Italian- best pizza I’ve had in ages! And a nice casual atmosphere. Great for a casual lunch or supper with friends
Very good food - at the high end of the price spectrum but worth it, lovely space and atmosphere. For overall 5* service could improve
Lovely little Italian close to London Bridge station. Nice welcome and the food was authentic. Reasonably priced. Even though we only had 1.5 hours to dine, we were able to continue our post dinner drinks in the 'waiting/welcome area' in their basement - the size and ambience a very pleasant surprise! All-in-all we would definitely go back.
Really liked the ambience and the aperol spritz
Even though the kitchen was about to close they accommodated us excellently. Thank you 🙏🏼
