    We waited to be acknowledged at the door while several staff passed by. Once seated, we found the server spoke too softly for the noise level and we found it difficult to understand. The food was excellent.

    We went for our 25th anniversary. It checked off all the boxes for the kind of restaurant I was looking for to celebrate. David, our server, was excellent. The food was amazing as was our whole experience. I highly recommend this place.

    I want to start by saying our waitress was AMAZING and saved my birthday dinner experience. Out of the 4 steaks ordered only 1 came out correctly. Seasoning was lacking on most of the food. Sides and Dessert was amazing. We have been many times and this is the first time we have had issues.

    Susan was wonderful upon entering the door and getting us to our table! Chris was our server and he was exceptional! Josh (another server) was not very helpful, was rather rude! I asked him for a napkin as Chris had walked away. He said I do not know where any are and I have to put in the order. I am accustomed to staff working as a team. Josh was nothing similar to a “team” player!

    Dinner was amazing!! I think it was the best steak I have ever had. We had Robert as our server. He was great! So personable and kind. He even walked us out at the end. I will be coming back and recommending to all my guests at the Grand Hyatt (I'm the concierge)

    We had an amazing experience at Oak Steakhouse. This was some of the best steak my husband and I have ever had. Our server David was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our dinner here the best possible experience. We will definitely return if we are ever visit Nashville again!

    This was our 3rd time here. I had the Caesar salad, filet with black truffle butter. I like the Brussels but they are too sweet for me. It is consistently great food and service. Josh was attentive and kind. He recommended the butter cake for dessert and we cannot stop talking about it. We will be back and highly recommend Oak!!

    I went there yesterday for my birthday dinner and my waitress was named AC. She was fantastic! When I say the food was absolutely AMAZING! Everything we had was outstanding! I absolutely love this place! I will definitely be coming back!

    They seated right next to the kitchen. We asked to move and she didn’t have anything else which was wrong. There were plenty of tables open and some large booths. Food was ok, steaks not prepared correctly. I ordered the lobster tail, Luke warm and terrible clarified butter which was cold. Way too expensive $650 tab for 5 people and only 4 cocktails and no wine. We had salads, fish, 2 filets 2 sides and 2 deserts. Won’t be going back. Go to Flemings same price and much better food

    We had friends accompanying us and it was their first time dining at The Oak. We had reservations (which we suggest) and were happily greeted by the reception desk. We were immediately seated and Robert (the best) welcomed us. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. Had a great time talking with our friends and enjoyed the food at the best steakhouse in Nashville. The food and service are always the best. You must try the Brussels Sprouts! We get them every time. The filets are always delicious and there are no bad dishes at The Oak. Enjoy!

    1st time at Oak steakhouse and it did not disappoint. Dined on a Friday night and the restaurant was not overcrowded. Our waiter (unfortunately forgot his name) was very experienced, professional and very attentive. The menu did lack a non seafood variety of appetizers however our steaks and side dishes were cooked and flavored to perfection. Our bill was very expensive for 3 steaks,2 sides and 4 cocktails it came to over $300 which was very pricey but it was for a special occasion so it was worth it.

    Service was great. Food is a different store sides were delicious, but entrees were not up to par. Steak was not seasoned at all and was over cooked ok the outside almost charred yet still med inside. Overall it was an ok experience we probably will just stick with Bourbon Steak.

    I ordered the 16oz ribeye and my girlfriend ordered the filet mignon. Both of our steaks were cooked to the correct temperature, however were over-seared to the point where it masked the flavor of the beef with a burnt charcoal taste. I’ve made significantly better steaks at home for a fraction of the price.

    We throughly enjoyed our experience. Our server was fantastic, very pleasant! Highly recommend starting with the NOLA oysters. Delicious! Our steaks were cooked to perfection, ranging from medium rare to medium. So good with several sauces to choose from for toppings. The ambiance was outstanding. My wife always orders a wedge salad at fine steak houses and their wedge salad was huge and very good. Very huge. We will be back.

    My husband and I had a cozy booth nestled under the staircase with a perfect view of outside. Our server helped guide us with fantastic recommendations and the food was delectable Perfection! We had Caesar salads, Brussel sprouts, fillet, Chilean Sea Bass, and the butter cake. Highly recommend!
