Old Town Chinese
Delicious food, finished every bite. Wine was a reasonable price too. People in and out from start of the meal to the end. Will be back for sure.
Food was a bit too salty for my taste, but tasty! Service was quick and friendly. Overall good value!
I eat at Old Town all the time and am usually always delighted with my meal, and consider Old Town one of the best Chinese restaurants in Dublin. However my visit on Saturday was absolutely terrible. We were left waiting for 40 minutes for even our drinks to arrive, and our food much longer that came in such different time frames that the main was cold by the time the rice arrived. The aubergine was undercooked and raw in places, and the chitterlings were not crispy or cooked enough. A really disappointing experience from a restaurant that can do better.
The food and service were excellent as usual. However we were moved from a table by the window to the back of the restaurant once we produced a Groupon voucher!
Every time we visit this restaurant we have a great meal. The menu is varied and the set meal is worth the money. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is always full of people from the local Asian community.
I went with my Chinese girlfriend to celebrate Chinese New Year and the restaurant was full and bustling. There was an issue where they where not aware of my booking, however they managed to seat us about half an hour later. The menu and food was a good mix of authentic Chinese and foods tailored for western tastes. The service was typically Chinese, very efficient and sometimes brusk but also the lady running the floor that night was very warm and friendly. We had a lovely time there, I would recommend.
We went to this restaurant on a Groupon deal and had the 3 course set menu. The food was excellent and there was something to suit all tastes. Most diners were Chinese which is always a good sign. Service was excellent from Nancy and the team. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Dublin.
