   We celebrated a birthday at O&J. Outstanding service--friendly, helpful, knowledgable. It was threatening rain and the manager came over to assure us that they had an inside table waiting for us if it rained. Outstanding wine list. Limited menu selections. More than ample portions.    happy hour on drinks is amazing. Happy hour doesn't apply to any food. They used to have a happy hour food menu but not anymore. Inside was clean with an odd smell and outside was super cute to sit in but the misters were on and I didn't want to get wet.

   While we looked forward to a return visit to Olive and June, we were disappointed in last night's dinner. The menu was limited and winterish, though it was late May. No updated options with seasonal profiles, and the descriptions on the menu were vague and nondescript. Food was not memorable, with exception of the tender and flavorful grilled pork entree--but it was literally a plate of pork.

   I had high hopes for Olive and June, but I was a bit let-down. It is the first "nice" restaurant I have gone to for a celebratory meal (I indicated it was an anniversary on the reservation) where nothing was said. Nothing was bad. Food and service was adequate, but not out of the ordinary. Given how many amazing restaurants we have in Austin, where I have had excellent service and food, I don't plan on returning here. If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience, I would recommend many others over Olive and June.

   We opened up the place tonight with a table of 9. There were two big events on other floors and didn’t interfere with our dinner at all. Our server was fantastic! Wish I knew his name. I came in after others had ordered drinks. Food was great. Menu is a bit limited but otherwise the night was fantastic.

    Not horrible but we were seated on the third floor due to rain and made to feel like we couldn’t get certain things bc they were all the way on the first floor. Kind of a bummer when you are spending $175 for two people. Not our fault the weather was bad and we had to be seated in an inconvenient area.

    We had a great dinner at Olive and June. Started with Proscuitto and Cheese Plate then my companion had the pappardelle with lamb ragu which was great. I had the ravioli with butternut squash and leeks with a brown butter sauce. Delish! We ordered the vanilla mousse for dessert but it wasn't great and not what we were expecting. Our server was wonderful and brought a second dessert instead and took the first one off the bill. The manager went out of his way to bring it and check on us and then even bring us his favorite dessert. We will be back because of the great service and great dinners. We'll try to get the dessert choice right on the first try next time :)

    Ate there for the first time and it was just "ok" italian food. Nothing remarkable. I had a glass a wine and did not even finish it as it was not remarkable either. I would not go back. Our server Kaitlyn was great though. She was very knowledgeble about the food and wine.

    The staff is attentive and friendly. The owner, chef or manager continues to insist that the full order be placed at the beginning of the meal and I am weary of getting entrees that are not piping hot. It's an impossible equation for the server.

    The food is great, very fresh tasting, but portion size was small for the entree. Our server was good. We asked for bread three times, because we were hungry and there was one small slice for everyone each bread service. It would have been nice to be seated near a window, so be sure ask for that. Cocktail was okay, small...Oaxaca sunset. A bit pricey, but worth it if it's a special treat. Also, there is a "wellness" $5 charge that funds servers who stay home that are sick. Really weird and strange. We also received a phone call before we came in for dinner to ask that we finish up in 2 hours, again, strange.

    Went here for dinner before a show. Food was just ok - bruschetta was not toasted, bucatini was a touch salty but didn’t really taste like anything, pappardelle short rib ragu was watery.

    We took my wife out for her birthday dinner with friends. Olive & June is one of her favorites and never disappoints. The building is beautiful, the staff friendly and the food great! Would never hesitate to go back!

    Cute setting however the food wasn’t very good. No bread was given before and the dishes were very small and bland. A friend of mine and a mushroom pasta dish and our other friend the bolognese. I thought it was odd too that the valet asked what amount you were giving him before he got your car (when using Venmo). Made it awkward for myself and the people around also sending a venmo.

    This is my second visit and both times I felt underwhelmed. Food is good service is good but I wish I just had the wow factor. Overall still a pleasant experience. My duck entree was tasty!

    The menu changes, which is great - but some new items were underwhelming. Specifically the Strawberry Bruschetta. Strange and not appealing to the eye. Flavor was just okay. Please bring back the Arancini!
