Very enjoyable lunch. Slightly pricy food and very pricy winelist.
I love Osteria Lucio. The staff are unfailingly attentive, the food is wonderful and the ambience is warm. We had a really enjoyable visit for our son's birthday the other night.
Great authentic Italian cuisine. Waiter gave excellent recommendations. Definitely come back.
Beef ragu was dry. Wine was good. Affogato was good. Service was meh. Took them a 15 mins to see that our dishes were empty and then to clear our table, then we had to ask twice for another bottle of water, then it took another 10 mins to pay after asking for the bill. Service was generally a bit slow all night.
Loved the ambiance! Disappointed with food- brushetta bread so hard could not eat and prawn linguine had about 3 prawns in it- @24e that's not good enough. Service good.
Lovely ambience food needed more seasoning but enjoyed overall meal thank you
Good food, nice atmosphere and good service. Way too expensive for what it was. 2 main courses, 3 glasses of wine for €100 - come on!
Delicious pizza and great service. Very handy for meal before going to a show in the Bord Gáis Theatre.
Great value pre-theatre menu and really enjoyed the food
Food was excellent just seemed to be a bit over priced . But would still recommend.
Great atmosphere, good wine by the glass and good selection of food.
Lovely atmosphere and service. Food was very good. Very fresh. Smallish portions, but lovely food. With a bigger wallet, I'd order more. But very much enjoyed it!
Lovely spot. great service and good food. wine list could be a little more wide-ranging in terms of price. Thought it was too expensive.
A real find! Delicious food, friendly and efficient service, great atmosphere. Close to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, so perfect for a pre-performance dinner.
Wonderful evening, wish we did not have to rush away to a show in the Bord Gais.
Super friendly place for two jet-lagged New Yorkers on their first night in Dublin. Great and varied menu - charming interior and very cool exterior. Lovely service and just a totally great vibe.
Too loud to talk. The food is just okay but very expensive
Overrated and overpriced, a superficial and narcissistic environment, small portions of mediocre food, a good buzz but that’s about it.
Fabulous meal at Osteria Lucio. Would highly recommend and will be back!
Lovely place! Gorgeous setting and great ambiance! We were heading to the theatre so were under time pressure and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! Will definitely be heading back!
Great food and buzzy atmosphere!
Great ambience with fantastic food! It's always full so make sure you make a reservation. Love the brick wall and warm lighting that gives a really nice atmosphere. I tried their Tagliatelle with ragu and it's the best I've ever had. Craving for it now that I'm thinking about it!
Great food , outstanding staff and a brilliant ambience in an intimate setting !
Great Italian pizza.
Great service, there when needed but unobtrusive. Food was very tasty. Lovely setting once you recognise the rumbling as the trains running overhead. I’ll be back.
Wow. From the moment I arrived (early)all the staff were friendly and accommodating. I had the Burrata, best I’ve had since Sicily, so creamy. Next was the “young” (rose veal) T Bone, cooked perfectly and served simply. Sweet, buttery & juicy, a delight. I even enjoyed the broccoli. It was a delicious. Not much in the way of carbs, but, it made the meat more enjoyable. Loved it.
Very expensive for a piece of taglietine. Never again
As it was my wife's birthday I asked if a small gesture could possibly be made at dessert. Thank you for arranging this.
Unfortunately my husband and I had to leave early due to our baby son being upset at home with Granny but everyone was so gracious about our early departure despite having ordered that we were unbelievably touched. For the time that we did spend there we were really impressed with the atmosphere, drinks (2 Old Fashioneds), menu, and above all the staff. We’ll definitely be back.
Great restaurant - excellent food and location and great for a meal before shows in the grand canal theatre
My sister had recommended Osteria Lucio but I never seemed to have enough time to try it out. Now that I have - I'll be back. Staff were so welcoming and attentive
Very tasty food for great value. The service was of high level, very friendly waitress. The noise level was high however it is expected under an arch and train line. Overall, very nice atmosphere.
Easy walk to Bord Gais, friendly staff and lovely food. You feel welcome and staff seem happy. Good pre-theatre menu.
Beautiful meal, food was lovely and good choice on pre theatre menu.
I was disappointed with the tasting menu. We had it 6 months ago and it was much better then.
This is one of “go to” places in town and it’s always great!!
Outstanding food and a buzzing atmosphere. Will definitely return soon.
Definitely a big fan of the restaurant, usually go for work lunches but as we see going to 3 Arena we booked for dinner. The food is usually really good but I have to say I was disappointed this time. We didn’t even get the early bird and went full a la carte. The gnocchi with beef was a bit like irish stew with very large chunks of beef in it and overly soft gnocchi, and was very under seasoned. My pasta had about 2 half pieces of broken up prawns in it and was borderline over cooked. The tiramisu was fairly dry too. As I said I’m a big fan but the food was disappointing this time.
Excellent location for a pre-show dinner. Beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff
I have had lunch at Osteria Lucio many times and it never dissapoints. The starters in particular are a highlight with special mention for the Burrata with Aubergine...delicious. The place has a good atmosphere and the staff are helpful and friendly.
