This is one of “go to” places in town and it’s always great!!
Outstanding food and a buzzing atmosphere. Will definitely return soon.
Definitely a big fan of the restaurant, usually go for work lunches but as we see going to 3 Arena we booked for dinner. The food is usually really good but I have to say I was disappointed this time. We didn’t even get the early bird and went full a la carte. The gnocchi with beef was a bit like irish stew with very large chunks of beef in it and overly soft gnocchi, and was very under seasoned. My pasta had about 2 half pieces of broken up prawns in it and was borderline over cooked. The tiramisu was fairly dry too. As I said I’m a big fan but the food was disappointing this time.
Excellent location for a pre-show dinner. Beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff
I have had lunch at Osteria Lucio many times and it never dissapoints. The starters in particular are a highlight with special mention for the Burrata with Aubergine...delicious. The place has a good atmosphere and the staff are helpful and friendly.
Fantastic waitress, constantly with us when we needed, but not annoyingly so
The train goes over the restaurant, so you will noticeably hear it a few times throughout the meal - but we actually thought it was a unique feature!
One of our favorites! Consistently good. Food fab
Reslly nice dining exoerience . Food delicious and staff extremely frienfly and attentive
Fabulous food and service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back
The waiters are more than professional, they are dedicated. The food is fresh and warm with an amazing set of tastes and even discovery of new alliances of ingredients like the warm chocolate mousse with olive oil ice cream, we would recommend wholeheartedly!
Always love a trip here! Pre-theatre menu is such good value & just a hop, skip & jump to the theatre. Staff always so friendly, helpful & accomodating. Can’t wait to return.
Lovely restaurant . Delicious food delivered by efficient & friendly staff. A warm & relaxed ambiance.
Excellent food, reasonable portions, amazing cocktails and dessert! Highly recommend the tiramisu
Excellent food and efficient professional service .. menu price did not match website and that should be resolved ASAP
Really enjoyed our meal here. We were met with a friendly welcome, which seemed natural and not forced. Enjoyed great service throughout our meal, the ambience was nice and the place felt stylish. Food was exceptional, best Italian I've had in years. Would not put anyone off coming here.
Lovely, will visit again.
Maybe a few more vegetarian options
We really really enjoyed our pre theatre menu! The gnocchi with beef ragu and goats cheese was out of this world! Seriously tasty! Looking forward to going back already!
Food and atmosphere was fantastic as always! Service between starter and main was very slow on this occassion, waiting over 35mins, meaning we were late for our show. However this has not happened on the occassions I was there before
Loved the food, very tasty and well presented. Only disappointment was that there was nothing served with the sea bass and it was quite a small portion on its own then.
Enjoyed a pre theatre dinner here with a friend. There was a good choice and the food was delicious. The service was good also so would definitely return.
Always a great place for a great night out - food is wonderful!
Really nice Restaurant and in a great location for theatre etc. Great atmosphere and the food is superb.
Food is decent, but I’d expect a higher standard overall for the price. That said, some of the smaller plates were excellent value. Pizzas were good but not great.
Meal before attending Les Miserables in the nearby Bord Gais theatre. 2 courses - pre theatre menu €27. Place was busy with nice atmosphere. We opted for high seating and were sharing with 3 others. Plenty room and totally private even when sharing table.
Small menu- choice of 3 starters, 3 mains, pizzas and dessert. We went with meatballs and bruschetta to start- both very good.. For mains we chose the gnocchi/beef and the sea bass. When I ordered the sea bass I was told it was small and I might still be hungry and that maybe I should order a side dish (most side dishes priced about €6). I declined. Sea bass was small but after having a starter I was fine. You would wonder why put it on menu if they are telling people they are still going to be hungry. Having to order a side dish would quickly take away from the good value of the pre theatre menu option - if paying for a side dish you may as well choose from the a la carte.
Food nice - nothing amaxing but suited us as close to the theatre.
Arrived with 5 friends for a quick bite to eat pre theatre, the waitress was on the ball and ensured we were served quickly. We managed 2 courses comfortably in an hour. Everyone loved their choice of food.
The restaurant was really cool and trendy. Will definitely be back.
Really enjoyable evening for our work night out, the Pre Theatre menu was very good value and the food was delicious. I have already recommended this place to others!
Waiter was poor, forgot drink orders on multiple occasions. Food was quite nice but a bit expensive for price. Three and half stars
This was my second time at Osteria Lucio and it was as good as the first. Great food and a good buzz. Highly recommend for all types of clients
Great place for a relaxed meal before or after visit to BGE Theatre. Italian menu with interesting variations, e.g. tasty starter of bakes fig wrapped in ham with gorgonzola sauce. Other good starters were breasola & bruschetta. We enjoyed mains of pizza, pasta with octopus & chilli, baked chicken . Dessert serving of Tiramisu was generous & shared happily by 4 of us. Red house wine was good. Service was excellent & staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. We'll be back.
Lovely decor and atmosphere here. Busy for pre-theatre but this just adds to the buzz. Food was delicious, but disappointed that arancini were no longer on the menu and that online menus are not up to date!
Eat here on Thursday night 3rd of Jan. Though the Christmas season was over this restaurant was full at 7pm & continued to seat people as tables came free. Great atmosphere with authentic Italian ingredients. Limited menu but seasonal & very tasty. Wine list is good though not extensive. The service here is excellent, with friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the food. The food is of an excellent quality so it is not cheap. I have eaten here before on a few occasions & it never fails to delight. With the vaulted ceilings it can get noisy but this in my opinion adds to the atmosphere. Lovely location with nice decor. On a Summers day you could be in Italy
Really enjoyed our pizza and wine pre theatre meal... lovely friendly staff ... would definitely recommend
Best food I’ve had in a long time! Staff were amazing!
Great pizza restaurant and modern and contemporary styled interior!
We had starters of salami and burrata with fresh focaccia
Our pizzas were terrific and desert of pannacotta great!
Went with my elderly father who is in a wheelchair. Could not have asked for better attention and service. Thank you..
Really nice meal! Good service, handmade pasta is great, good wine - all under vaulted ceilings - we loved it :)
We booked a table around 8 pm on the 23rd of December, for 9.30 that same evening. Everything was flawless, the booking procedure super easy, and we felt very welcomed by the friendly, easygoing, yet professional staff. We ordered two pizzas, both of which were amazing, and had a glass of the house red each, which was excellent. Overall a wonderful experience.
Osteria Lucio's restraunt & bar is beuatiful , brilliant location , food is amazing , great service & the staff are very friendly
Delicious! The food was amazing
Staff very very friendly.
Will certainly return.
