The story of food is the story of friendship. When you combine Irish conviviality with the irrepressible Italian nature, it’s always going to be a good thing. Chefs Ross Lewis and Luciano Tona have been friends through Michelin starred food, and tall tales, for many years. At Osteria Lucio they unite their love of Irish and Italian food with the very best of produce, from both countries.

Absolutely wonderful experience and service. The shared Lil Lucio tasting is a must!

El lugar muy lindo, pero el mozo que nos tocó no fue de lo más agradable. Nos exigió pedir platos a todos los comensales y hacía cuestionamientos con la elección de comidas. Para mi gusto muy caro para las porciones que servían.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Dublin for some time. Our table of 3 went with the €70 sharing menu, which was excellent value. The milk-fed suckling pig shoulder was a highlight, a very generous portion, with great crackling. We also opted for the pasta of the day, which had lobster and clams and calamari, and was equally good. Starters and deserts were all delicious. To top it off, our server was extremely friendly and charming, and she made the meal even more enjoyable.

I was very excited to try here and we enjoyed it but it missed the wow factor. Service wasn’t great which I was shocked at considering it was an early enough 5pm sitting. Tables getting wrong food / drinks. A lot of confusion and only about a quarter full ! Food was good but not amazing. I had the gnocchi with the prawns which was in a dish that was baked and I reckon one prawn was cut up into it which I think is awful for the price you’re paying. Toilets facilities while clean were basic for offerings ie no paper towels or proper towels / no nice soap / no candles lighting. I just feel for all the buzz this restaurant gets and the price they charge. We had two courses each , Sparkling water , 2x glasses of house wine and 2 x beers , 1 dessert and 2 coffees euro157 plus tip. I’m glad I tried but we won’t be back sadly

Recently changed the menu and have removed pizza as an option. Mains are around €30 which is pricey plus 2x Aperol Spritz cost €28. With one dessert, flatbread and two mains + sparkling water/coffees bill was around €125 without service charge. Service and ambience great. Good option for a business dinner, bit expensive for a catch-up with friends

Phenomenal! The food was divine. So flavourful. Fresher than fresh. Service was flawless. The atmosphere was amazing. And yet the bill didn't cripple anyone's bank balance! We'll be back.

Lack of menu options. online state restaurant has pizza only to be told it has been discontinued. Very expensive and overall not worth the money. €100 for two people.

We arrived early (it was raining and we were not sure where we were going), the hostess graciously sat us at the bar for a drink while we waited for our table. Once seated, we ordered a bottle of wine and the 'set price 6 course' menu item. The first 4 courses came out in a timely manner, with very attentive staff, but then it took an hour to get our main course (chicken). We asked twice and were told it would be out immediately. Clearly, we were forgotten, then once it came out, we asked for the dessert and check. It wasn't that busy at that point, clearly an oversight. The food was delicious (all the courses), the atmosphere was very cool. I would highly recommend this place, I am sure our situation was just a mixup with staff as we had several different waiters serving us and other diners.
