Unfortunately we had to rush because we were late arriving due to traffic and had to get to the Bord Gaia. However the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was tasty. Will definitely be returning when I have more time.
Great food and ambiance. Very convenient location for pre-theatre for Boar Gais - and a 15 min stroll to the Point.
Lovely restaurant with great food and excellent staff We really enjoyed our meal there
Roasted olives were as hot as hell
Had a beautiful dinner here last Tuesday. The only hiccup was the obnoxiously loud family at the table behind us that just didn't seem to have I door voices and were intent on shouting the entire time - I can't fault the restaurant for this though! The food was lovely and I'd love to go back but maybe at a quieter time.
Great food. Super friendly staff. Good menu, fairly priced. Would recommend
Excellent cocktails, exquisite food, lovely and helpful staff. Thank you!
Fantastic service. I found food quite delicious.
The warm olives are "to die for".
Tables way too close together , I felt uncomfortably close to the next table . The drinks lists was considerably over priced , in my opinion with an average Pinot Grigio costing me €8.50 for a glass. I also found the menu set expensive and though the pizza was nice it cost €19.00!
Great starters and pizzas as main course. Everyone was delighted but pricing is on the upper end, but no surprise there in all fairness. Highly recommended!
Very nice and cosy place. Friendly staff. Outstanding food.
Food ok, wine not very nice, service a bit rushed.
The pizza was amazing and the other loved their pizza and pastas too. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Superb pizza and service was excellent! Love the decor aswell. We went here as a couple to grab a pizza before a match at the Aviva. Read great reviews abut this place and it didnt disappoint, will definately be back.
Generally not bad, service not great, food good, but certainly not value for money.
We went for a pre theatre dinner. It’s typical Italian fare. Good but not outstanding. Nice atmosphere though in an old distillery/vaults with good service (food did take a bit long to arrive though) and decent prices, not for a gourmet meal but an excellent place for a nice meal with friends
Great food with real authentic Italian quality. Slightly more expensive than the usual Italian restaurants but the quality of the food is worth the premium. Great ambiance and staff are very attentive.
Very enjoyable lunch. Slightly pricy food and very pricy winelist.
I love Osteria Lucio. The staff are unfailingly attentive, the food is wonderful and the ambience is warm. We had a really enjoyable visit for our son's birthday the other night.
Pre theatre crowd of mixed ages, young to middle age, made for a lively atmosphere. Staff were friendly service was quick and efficient and food was excellent. Would go again.
Great authentic Italian cuisine. Waiter gave excellent recommendations. Definitely come back.
Beef ragu was dry. Wine was good. Affogato was good. Service was meh. Took them a 15 mins to see that our dishes were empty and then to clear our table, then we had to ask twice for another bottle of water, then it took another 10 mins to pay after asking for the bill. Service was generally a bit slow all night.
Loved the ambiance! Disappointed with food- brushetta bread so hard could not eat and prawn linguine had about 3 prawns in it- @24e that's not good enough. Service good.
Lovely ambience food needed more seasoning but enjoyed overall meal thank you
Good food, nice atmosphere and good service. Way too expensive for what it was. 2 main courses, 3 glasses of wine for €100 - come on!
Delicious pizza and great service. Very handy for meal before going to a show in the Bord Gáis Theatre.
Great value pre-theatre menu and really enjoyed the food
Food was excellent just seemed to be a bit over priced . But would still recommend.
Great atmosphere, good wine by the glass and good selection of food.
Lovely atmosphere and service. Food was very good. Very fresh. Smallish portions, but lovely food. With a bigger wallet, I'd order more. But very much enjoyed it!
Lovely spot. great service and good food. wine list could be a little more wide-ranging in terms of price. Thought it was too expensive.
A real find! Delicious food, friendly and efficient service, great atmosphere. Close to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, so perfect for a pre-performance dinner.
Wonderful evening, wish we did not have to rush away to a show in the Bord Gais.
Super friendly place for two jet-lagged New Yorkers on their first night in Dublin. Great and varied menu - charming interior and very cool exterior. Lovely service and just a totally great vibe.
Too loud to talk. The food is just okay but very expensive
Overrated and overpriced, a superficial and narcissistic environment, small portions of mediocre food, a good buzz but that’s about it.
Fabulous meal at Osteria Lucio. Would highly recommend and will be back!
Lovely place! Gorgeous setting and great ambiance! We were heading to the theatre so were under time pressure and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! Will definitely be heading back!
