The story of food is the story of friendship. When you combine Irish conviviality with the irrepressible Italian nature, it’s always going to be a good thing. Chefs Ross Lewis and Luciano Tona have been friends through Michelin starred food, and tall tales, for many years. At Osteria Lucio they unite their love of Irish and Italian food with the very best of produce, from both countries.

Unfortunately we had to rush because we were late arriving due to traffic and had to get to the Bord Gaia. However the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was tasty. Will definitely be returning when I have more time.

Great food and ambiance. Very convenient location for pre-theatre for Boar Gais - and a 15 min stroll to the Point.

Had a beautiful dinner here last Tuesday. The only hiccup was the obnoxiously loud family at the table behind us that just didn't seem to have I door voices and were intent on shouting the entire time - I can't fault the restaurant for this though! The food was lovely and I'd love to go back but maybe at a quieter time.

Tables way too close together , I felt uncomfortably close to the next table . The drinks lists was considerably over priced , in my opinion with an average Pinot Grigio costing me €8.50 for a glass. I also found the menu set expensive and though the pizza was nice it cost €19.00!

Great starters and pizzas as main course. Everyone was delighted but pricing is on the upper end, but no surprise there in all fairness. Highly recommended!

We went for a pre theatre dinner. It’s typical Italian fare. Good but not outstanding. Nice atmosphere though in an old distillery/vaults with good service (food did take a bit long to arrive though) and decent prices, not for a gourmet meal but an excellent place for a nice meal with friends

Great food with real authentic Italian quality. Slightly more expensive than the usual Italian restaurants but the quality of the food is worth the premium. Great ambiance and staff are very attentive.

Beef ragu was dry. Wine was good. Affogato was good. Service was meh. Took them a 15 mins to see that our dishes were empty and then to clear our table, then we had to ask twice for another bottle of water, then it took another 10 mins to pay after asking for the bill. Service was generally a bit slow all night.
