Dinner with friends, great sharing plates
The service at Pachamama would encourage me to return, but sadly not the food. There were a couple of dishes that were quite nice, but it was difficult to gauge what the dishes were. The very helpful young lady came and explained several dishes but we could not work it out for ourselves from the menu. We did not think the meals were value for money, although the night was a nice experience which we enjoyed mostly because of the very attentive staff.
Food was delicious and exotic enough to make it a very special meal .
An intimate setting with enough space and variety in texture to create a delightful bubble. Each dish was bursting with flavour and there was a compelling selection that catered to both adventurous and conventional palettes. The service was prompt and the recommendations provided were highly conducive to the overall enjoyment of the time spent here. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Liked this place so much - food and atmosphere, staff services and drink were amazing. Def five stars !!
Really tasty food served as sharing plates. The staff are really helpful with food choices and the Chinese/Peruvian fusion doesn't create quite as odd a combo as it sounds.
Hugely overpriced tapas. Waited a very long time for service (which means I really resented the service charge).
Was a truly outstanding dining experience. The ambience was great, service was spot on and the food was brilliant. Chilli, tenderness, deep fried ice cream
Food is good enough, but pricey. £20 for a small plate of Sunday Roast. Access to the disabled toilets were inaccessible blocked with chairs and a ladder. Staff were trying to be helpful.
As always, Pachamama did not disappoint. The food was fantastic, the ambiance delightful, and the service warm. Can’t wait to come back!
The most incredible food, fast service and friendly when showing us to our seats. It was sometimes difficult to attract the attention of the waiter even though it there maybe only another 4 seated tables (quiet early lunchtime). But overall fantastic. Cherry on the cake was ordering a beer and it coming with an ice cold glass that had been in a freezer.
Very good food! Slow service and a few hiccups, otherwise incredible atmosphere and great food.
Nice overall experience!1 Food was good - service was a little slow
The vegan menu is better than most vegan only restaurants
Food was outstanding but portions are really tiny which is a little frustrating and makes the bill really high.
+ I can only recommend not to go on Saturday nights, a DJ was there playing some really really loud music (not even good one) that prevent you to properly talk with your friends, I wasn't aware of this concept that ruined our dining experience. I don't think I will come back, that's a shame because the food was amazing
Great food, love the look of the restaurant, & attentive staff.
Food was good but portions are very small. Mains are of size of starters. So if you are hungry you need 3-4 each and end up costing a lot. Staff are excellent and very polite.
Great chilled out vibe and sharing plates. The food was very good.
Impecable la propuesta chifa
Lovely atmosphere and service, very lively with music playing. Good variety of fish, meat and vegetarian options designed to be sharing plates. We had the pork belly, tuna ceviche, aubergine and the bavette which was plenty for two. Everything was really good the tuna was probably our favourite, slightly expensive but in keeping with other restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend.
Food was great, portions are small as they are meant for sharing so you end up trying a lot but also paying for it. Unfortunately, the good food was overshadowed by some particularly bad service. Table was about 15 minutes late, which was fine as we were invited to wait at the bar. Once we were seated, it took more than 30 minutes to actually get someone's attention and for us to order. Food came quickly, but given how hard it was to get a hold of the staff we ended up leaving rather hungry. We tried to get the dessert menu but gave up after another 15 minutes wait and waited patiently for the bill The staff was pleasant, but just not very oriented or organized. The restaurant either needs more people or to find a better way of managing their tables. I wouldn't recommend unless you are okay to spend hours in the place.
The food was amazing however you will need two dishes to almost fill you which for £25, doesn’t feel worth it. The service was a quite slow when bringing the wine and bill as well.
Food is great, service not so good
Food was very good, quickly served as we were almost only customers in there.
Nice and cosy venue.
Tasty food with interesting flavours. Rather overpriced. Not bad yet slightly detached service.
Superb, unique food.....great vibe in the place .... food was the star.
Delicious food, friendly staff and overall warm atmosphere + nice decor... Would recommend and definitely go there again :)
Good vibes, good music, great food. An enjoyable experience.
This was our first time at Pachamama East and we weren't disappointed.
We were served by Ashley who really made the experience, looking after us throughout the night and making sure we had any support we needed.
The food was also delicious with lots of choice - would definitely recommend the Pork Belly Chicharrones, super tasty! For those with allergens, there is a comprehensive menu (and lots of gluten free options).
Second time dining at Pachamama East and a similarly enjoyable experience. Great menu including probably one of the best vegan menus I’ve seen. Really fun atmosphere and a killer playlist to help get your night going!
My second visit to Pachamama East. Highly recommended! Great food, great service, cosy and casual. Lovely vibe and cool tunes playing in the background :)
Absolutely gorgeous, each dish was packed with so much flavour. We were totally blown away!
Really recommend the tasting menu! Massive portions and a good sampling of the menu. The pork belly, aubergine and ceviches were incredible!
Where to take a friend who is doing dry January and has decided he's going to try being vegan, except he'll still eat fish. It turns out this was the perfect place. An imaginative selection of mocktails - the Geranium Garden a particular hit - and a menu that divides neatly in to land, sea and soil. I think we tried nearly all the fish dishes and only one was deemed a bit dull - the miso sea bass was particularly good. The vegan plates where also a success, especially the caramelised aubergine and (implausibly) the cabbage salad. Service was friendly and helpful and the room at the back of the restaurant was quiet enough to catch up on the gossip without lacking in atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Delicious food, great service, brunch tasting menu is great value
Lovely place, great ambience. Nice service. One waiter was particularly very attentive and nice. Food was very nice and great value for money. Clean toilets (with interestingly lively music)
Great food. We had the tasting menu and out of all the plates we loved 90%. Staff were friendly but lacked a little attentiveness, odd seeing as it wasn't busy. Nicely designed room but the music was a bit loud and the playlist was a bit weird.
Came here in the summer on a quiet weekday night and had a great experience. Brought the girlfriend here on NYE and unfortunately didn’t quite live up to previous visit. Very loud, servers weren’t massively attentive/ were just throwing dishes down without really explaining. Perhaps as it was very busy this was the reason, as all stuff seemed very stressed.
I myself am a dining person of some experience. This place is tidy. Service is sweet and food is good. Lemme know if you want me to make you a mix tape.
It was lovely. The people who work there are kind and cool. They genuinely want you to enjoy your experience with them. They take pride in every dish, right down to the last detail. At one point I started laughing at how good every bite was! And my Husband agreed. If you come in for anything at all, do both ceviche’s and pair them with the tequila and sangria or a dry crisp wine. They are mouthwatering and oh so perfect. The food and the drinks were good quality. The atmosphere is low lit and easy to relax in. Great for casual dining or date night. The back bar is super funky and cool to hang if your coming in to pick. If your a foodie well you must have eaten here by now. Or your an idiot.
