   Great menu - varied selections, excellent wine list, nice selection of cocktails, cool decor and setting, great to watch the focused, professional kitchen staff in action; kudos to our waiter! Unfortunately I didn't get his name but his passion and knowledge of available wines was not only impressive but infectious and added to our overall experience. Thank you, you made our evening!

   My girlfriends and I had the most enjoyable night celebrating my Birthday last night. The 4 course banquet was an absolute delight! The meals came out at the right time and we enjoyed a fabulous 3 hour sitting. Will be back and will be recommending you. Chrissie

   We had a really good night at Patsy's. Staff were great - friendly, informative, helpful, professional, attentive to our needs and requests. Food was really tasty and fresh. Great wine list, with plenty of choice by the glass. And a very comfortable, stylish venue.

   Love this place! Delicious seasonal food, fresh from local regenerative farms… All served in a cosy & unique setting (Love the turquoise walls & the warm antique wood furniture). The friendly waiter was great & the amazing selection of cocktails were divine. My favourite dish was the seasonal roasted carrots, so fresh & full of flavour.

    Patsy’s vegetarian food was fantastic; fresh, innovative and delicious. A real gem in Melbourne and they had a small courtyard too. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

    The good - cocktails, wine, service and the playlist were all great! Dessert (creme brulee) was also very satisfying, easily big enough to share between two. One of them group also very much enjoyed her main of charred cabbage with lentils and pistachio. The not so good - gargantuan cheese gougeres were sad, bland and unexciting. If you're going to make them that big please at least stuff them with a bechamel/cheese custard, otherwise you just have too much dry, airy nothingness - it was a chore to get through two! Not a very exciting way to start a meal. The other snacks we had were just fine (zucchini flowers and deep fried mustard roll things) Main of "baked gnocchi alla Romana" was really not good. Admittedly I did not know (and was not explained) the difference between regular gnocchi and "alla Romana" but after doing a Google when I got home the dish presented didn't even come close to the description. The "gnocchi" (read, potato cakes) were underseasoned and dry, there was perhaps two teaspoons of "sauce" to be found on the dish, the pecorino was non existent and the broccoli had an overwhelming taste of mustard. I communicated this to our server at the time and he quickly replaced the dish and took it off our bill. The replacement (eggplant, zucchini and fava beans in an onion broth) was much tastier, if not on the small side for a main. One of our group ordered the pasta dish which again was inexplicably dry and the pasta was undercooked to the point of raw, however she did not want to raise this at the time and ate it anyway out of politeness. We shared a side of "roasted" (taste and texture suggests more likely boiled) potatoes with a cafe de Paris emulsion - the emulsion was tasty but we would have liked much more of it. All in all the food really was a disappointment, but we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and cannot fault our server!

    We booked a table for our anniversary dinner after a previous unplanned drop in visit for snacks and a drink. Excellent drinks list. A traditional fine dining experience but with the luxury (for vegetarians) of innovative and delicious food that is all appropriate for us! There are plenty of vegetarian restaurants out there but this strikes a lovely balance for people who are looking for the two aspects together. Our waiter also asked about special dietary needs and we mentioned that one of us is diabetic, he adjusted the choices for our banquet knowledgeably and drew our attention to any higher carb contents, which was way more considered than we have ever experienced in a restaurant before, and much appreciated. A treat to visit whether you are vegetarian or not.

    As a vegetarian I have wished to visit Patsys for quite a while. As I was in the city, I dined there with my mum. Lovely art deco building with great ambience. Both the wait staff, Georgia and Jonty were helpful in explaining about the meals and drinks. Super service, thank you, Food was delicious, flavoursome, different tastes and textures. I had an apertif which I could try first, delicious , mum had a Mocktail, Earl Grey , also fabulous. Highly recommend Patsys. Thank you

    Thank you for hosting my wife and I for our first time away since having children 8 years ago! Patsys came highly recommended and it exceeded them - wonderful wines, excellent, knowledgeable and personable service from both staff that served us. Amazing

    We just love this place - as a vegetarian with meat eating loved ones it’s the perfect place to come! They don’t feel like they’re missing out as the dishes are so delicious and substantial, and I’m spoiled for choice. As always we ordered way too much because it’s really hard to just choose a few things - everything on the menu is exceptional. But the leftovers made for a great midnight snack when we got home 😂 Gorgeous waitstaff, fantastic wine list and talented Sommelier who surprised us with some fun aperitif. Thanks again wonderful team 🙏

    The service really needs work. For example sitting in front of empty entree plates for an hour, only to be asked oh shall we start your main? Uh, yes. Then pouring wine into the non drinker's glass. And not knowing about the wine at all. Seated at 630, main finishing up at 930, lost our appetite for dessert and digestives and left. Food was lovely and restaurant has good ambience.

    It was a lovely vegetarian restaurant. The waiters who served us were very nice and friendly. One of them had strong knowledge about drinks like wines, and cocktails to recommend. Foods were delicious too even though I am a meat person. However, the portion was quite small. Lucky to have a happy hour for cocktails 🍸

    This was the second time to patsys and took a friend with me as I’ve been raving about this vego place. Food was good but major disappointment this time. 1. An Asian waiter handed us menu to read ourselves and failed to talk us through the specials of the day. 2. We had 3 dishes and afterwards we saw one of the interesting dishes from next table so asked a friendly waitress and was told it was special of the day ‘artichoke with potato’ so we ordered. This waitress was probably the only friendly and not stuck up staff that served us. 3. The artichoke was fine until my friend chewed onto something hard and pulled it out … only to find a piece of plastic in the food. I waived to an Asian waitress to inform her and she took the plates with her. She came back to confirm it was a broken piece of plastic from a container. She was rather stuck up and isn’t very apologetic. She said would waived this plate off the bill. We were wordless and she said she will check with the manager what they can do. She didn’t come back to us on anything. It would be kind to let us know. 4. The Asian waiter came with dessert menu. Didn’t offer to take us through the menu. Came back to check on us and we said we will skip dessert. He immediately asked if we would like the bill. At this stage I was really gobsmacked! Not only we didn’t have a pleasant dinner… we felt like we’re being chased out of the restaurant! We paid our bill and left. No one acknowledged us leaving. The friendliest waitress caught us when I was already opening the door to leave and said good bye. Shameful service and unpleasant evening…

    Excellent food and really good wine. A lovely chill yet classy atmosphere, great for a date night. Easily catered for us being vegan. Got the 4 course set menu, good amount of food and a reasonable price for the type of restaurant it is. One dish wasn't my favourite, the eggplant main, just a little too earthy for me. Got the trio of glaces, and they were delicious but the grapefruit glace was a little too bitter. but everything else was top notch. Could eat those snack bread things with the fava pure for the rest of my life.

    Server Georgia was attentive yet unobtrusive, quite a skill! We had the banquet 4 plates $85 per..this was great value and allowed us to experience a large selection of finely crafted dishes. Sparkling wine and cocktails were great. Thank you!

    We had a wonderful meal. We told the wait staff we were going to a show so they made sure we were out by a certain time without rushing our meal… the staff were happy to let us taste the wine before choosing what we would have and the meals were delicious. Highly recommend.

    Beautiful vegetarian food, happy hour cocktails and wonderful service! The venue is so lovely and there is also a courtyard. I loved the music but it was quite loud and made it hard to talk. Although that might just be me showing my age! Nevertheless, would highly recommend!
