   Restaurant location is very convenient as it’s just in front of the Premium Outlets and just over 5 minutes ride from Legoland. P.F. Changs food is always tasty… This time wasn’t the best experience because something happened with our order at the kitchen and they missed the kids food and some entrees. At the time that they fixed the problem (like 20 minutes after we noticed the issue), kids were stressed. Anyways, hope we get better the next time as this was my first issue in so many times I’ve visited PF.

   We didn’t get to sit on a good table at Carlsbad because we were only two. Inspite of mentioning it’s a celebration. We will never visit the Carlsbad outlet. Bad service and will let our friends and neighbors know not to go to the Carlsbad outlet for celebration. The lady at the reception didn’t give us a good seat . She was bad! The only good thing was the waitress who served us food. She was sweet.

   The waitress stated that pF Changs changed the Mongolian beef recipe when I told her it didn’t taste right. It was as if they used the wrong sauce. Could not eat it.

   We had a good meal, however, I miss the original P.F. Changs. The current menu is a third of what it used to be. The food was much better when The P.F. Changs first opened.

    Rice and meal came out cold. Meal came out hot the second time, rice was still cold. Wound up eating my meal after my friend finished their meal. Server was confused about a coupon for a free appetizer, and unwilling to give an appetizer (coupon) and a free birthday dessert for my friend. Manager fixed this error with ease, simple retraining issue. Never had a bad experience at this restaurant, so hopefully, this was a one-off incident.

    Do not recommend. There’s a reason why this place was empty at dinner time on a Friday night. Our server was horrible; didn’t introduce her name & left us wondering where she went throughout our meal. We spoke to another server about it as we were wanting our check. My father who paid for the meal didn’t look closely at the bill. Come to find out they rewarded us by adding charges for drinks we didn’t have. Food is good, so DoorDash it or try another location. We definitely won’t be returning.

    We had a 7pm reservation. When we showed up it was a zoo …very busy. We were told we needed to wait despite having a reservation. We understood given it was New Year’s Eve. The hostess checking everyone in had a really bad attitude. I told her we had our 83 year old mother with us…she just shrugged it off and informed us that our Open Table reservation had the lowest priority against the other reservations made via the PF Chang App. She said we would receive a text once our table was ready. I verified my cellphone number with her… waited and waited….then at 7:30 pm we left and went to another restaurant. Really sad because we love this location and the staff. Unfortunately this hostess did not represent the establishment well at all. Oh….we never received the text at all even after we left. Really a mess!!!

    Went for New Year's. Very busy and kitchen got backed up, but our waiter let us know in advance. Great service. Only "complaint" is my chicken didn't really have a good garlic or ginger taste to it- a little bland. Everything else was good (orange chicken, lettuce wraps, shrimp fried rice).

    We ate here for the first time New Years Eve. Fortunately we had an early reservation because it got VERY busy. The food was better than expected, very rich, don’t over indulge. The table side service was amazing best I have had at any restaurant in north county. The appetizer came out quick but entrees and dessert took a very long time, it was very busy so understood.

    Three generations of family enjoyed our New Year’s Eve Dinner Celebration. We had early 4:45 reservations and requested a booth which we received. It immediately filled up fast and we were fortunate to have professional and experienced Sean as our waiter. He was very busy but never missed a beat. Outstanding service with four courses timed perfectly. The bar and take out was hopping and the bartenders and cooks kept up. Our son enjoyed a NYE special drink and Wagyu Beef entree. We had perfectly prepared Spring Rolls, soup, glazed tender Pork Ribs, Sesame Chicken with added vegetables and a banana dessert with coconut pineapple ice cream. We ended with fortune cookies. A perfect evening out for such a busy night! Thank you PF Chang team!

    I love this place and the food; always have. It makes us feel bad for the servers because these restaurants are so understaffed that they can’t avoid poor service. The staff seemed very stressed. Nonetheless, the food was good and we’ll probably go back eventually
