Fabulous evening! Amazing service! Food couldn’t be faulted was so delicious!
Food was amazing and service was of the highest standard. Welcomed at the door by a friendly staff member who showed us to our table and introduced us to our server. The food was amazing and worth every penny me and my partner were delighted with every dish we recieved. Thank you to the staff members for a pleasent experiece.
Really enjoyable food and overall experience. Brought a kiwi friend here on Saturday evening for a special meal. Pichet delivered 100%.
My first visit to Dublin and wanted somewhere good to eat for my wedding anniversary and took advice from Open Table reviews which were very good on Pichet. It lived up to my expectations, the food was excellent as was the venue, atmosphere and efficiency for such a busy restaurant. If I am being picky one of the waiters who served at the table wasn’t very friendly but others who also served at our table made up for it. Highly recommended.
On holiday in Dublin, saw restaurant from outside and looked very inviting. We weren’t disappointed. Everything from the cocktail at the start to the end of the meal was great, staff really helpful and chatty but not intrusive. So, people, drinks and food all great and would definitely recommend. And all topped off by a great price for the quality.
I love eating at Pichet, the staff are always so friendly & welcoming and the food is delicious. The desserts are excellent. It’s become our favourite restaurant in Dublin for a special meal out.
Great experience generally marred by a couple of small things, service disorganized, waiter over familiar and in your face, no lock on door of women's' lavatory. Looks as if they are becoming complacent and letting things slip. All in all, excellent but watch this space.
Dined prior to going to a concert. We were kindly offered a glass of bubbles as we were going to see Michael Bible. Very nice gesture. Delicious lunch.
Excellent food and service. Way above our expectations! Loved it! Also excellent wine list.
The food was good. However, it was served before e we could finish our aperitif.
Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding! Be sure to try the Negroni cocktail, it's super special.
The service and setting was lovely. Our starter and dessert were full of flavour and really enjoyable. My husband ordered halibut for his main course which was presented well and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the salmon. While the salmon was cooked really well, the corn that came with it was burnt on one side which tarnished my ability to taste the sauce and impacted on my enjoyment of the dish. If the corn had not been burnt I'm sure the dish would have been delicious.
Delicious meal. Great service. Would definitely return
Top Class Restaurant and good value for money. Perfect for a city centre lunch meeting with Friends.
Friend's get together- and a place I wanted to try for a while. Lovely place, service is great and the food, a little pricey but very high standard- so it was worth it.
Was booked in for 7.30pm- but was at the bar till 8pm- this was not an issue for the team and we stayed until 11.00pm. Lovely spot, will be back. ;)
Excellent restaurant with great service and great bar man.
Would highly recommend this to anyone. We will be back next time we are in Dublin
The food & service is exceptional.
Poor service, to start we were given wrong menu — not kid friendly - had our 6 year old with us and they have no children’s menu. Would not go back. Expensive for what you get - high prices, much nicer around the city for same money and less.
Food is excellent in Pichet and our waiter was excellent at explaining menu. However the front of house service was appalling. I arrived on my own to confirm the table would be ready. I eventually got the ladies attention and she swiftly told me it was just ready. I went back to my friends in the Bankers and we arrived within 3-5 minutes. The hostess didn’t even remember me. We sat our table for at least five minutes befor menus were presented. I was treating my friends for my birthday so was not impressed with initial service There was a wait for our meal but understandable. Also the service charge was over €70. Which I think is wrong too. As I say food excellent bit initial service not good for such a fine dining restaurant
From the cocktail to begin right through to the starters, cote de boeuf for two and dessert, the food was outstanding. Our waiter was also really great - good humoured, made us feel welcome, made good food and wine suggestions and had some good personal banter. Really comfortable chairs and nice ambience also. Will be back again!
enjoyed the meal. waiter was informed and informative. i thought the table setup was not great.
This was our first visit to Pichet. We had received a voucher as a present. We were extremely impressed with the whole experience particularly the member of staff a guy who served us.
He had full knowledge of the food menu and wine list. He recommended wines to suit our food. I had Lobster which was gorgeous. Would not hesitate to return.
Good food and ambience. Could benefit from more innovative vegetarian options.
We went there twice --once at the beginning of the trip and then on the way back out of Dublin. Highly recommend it.
Overall good experience, we had to wait a bit longer for starters to be cleared but it was very busy at the moment, service was great with some slips which where due to busy time, food needs a bit of twitching.
Last night in Ireland
Nowadays, any restaurant with music at volume low enough to allow audible speech has a sound headstart! This was a thoroughly pleasing experience, from entry to exit; I would heartily recommend for fine food and an atmosphere convivial to conversation. The service was attentive and perfectly mannered.
The staff were so friendly and professional, the bar man was very polite and made the most amazing cocktails and the food was fantastic especially the lobster never disappoints
The food was very good, well composed dishes presented well and every component tasted good. Also it didn’t feel like the kitchen were trying too hard by putting unnecessary extra items on the plate. Unfortunately the waiter we had wasn’t trying too hard either. He didn’t explain anything on the menu, rushed us to order and spent most of his time joking with other tables. The disparity in service was highlighted by the table next door being offered a secret tasting menu and very obsequious service.
The food was really wonderful!!
The service was a little slow. We were parked behind a pillar, so I wonder if that is why. It was hard to catch the eye of the waiter for simple things like more water, a dessert, the bill etc
The short rib was amazing!!
Great selection of wines to choose from.
Outstanding food, drink, service, ambience and location.
The lack of ambience was unsurprising; as we booked pre-theatre on a Monday we were the only diners in there! I'm sure there is a great buzz when it's full. Our waitress - the staff in general - were all lovely and a credit to the restaurant, but perhaps a little overbearing at times in making sure everything was OK. A good complaint to have! Food was fresh, tasty and portioned perfectly. Handmade cocktail was a reflection of the friendly barman's skills. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Pichet to a friend. Well done!
Such deliciousness was a welcomed Sunday treat as well as the stellar wine selection
While on vacation from the USA, my husband and I had a wonderful dinner here. Some favorites were the mussels, short ribs, and lobster with mushrooms. The culinary highlight of our 10-day trip in Ireland!
We had made reservations weeks ago but the first table offered was undesirable (by the service area). To their credit, when we asked for a quieter table they complied without hesitation. Our reservation was for ninety minutes after opening, but they were sold out of the lobster special that had been described to us just five minutes earlier. Cocktails took a long time to come. BUT, other than the first bumps, everything else was perfect. We ordered 9 different items between the three of us and tried each other’s. We all thought everything was unique, delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter was excellent and made perfect recommendations for wine. We’ve eaten at many lovely restaurants in Europe and this is among them. Great atmosphere and location, too.
Nice place and so central. I ordered the pre theatre option of Salmon with chickpea chorizo. Great dish but they didn't seem to integrated with each other and salmon was just placed on top. I would have liked some bread with the dish too as it's perfect for mopping up that great sauce! I hate asking for bread in restaurants for this purpose!
They also completely ignored my birthday note in my booking message.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! I highly recommend the tartare. Exquisite food, fairly high prices, very good service, and a tad too loud. But on the whole one of my best dining experiences in super gourmet Dublin
nice food, and good service with reasonable space between courses. Not noisy- our hearing is not the best, and so we could carry on conversation without discomfort. Attentive waiter service
Great celebration of anniversary. Our waiter and staff went above and beyond. Adjacent table ordered champagne for us. Food was outstanding. Highly recommend
Very pleasant evening. Service was a little spotty - in fairness we had a waiter who was on his second night and he was still learning the ropes - but he was very pleasant. The food was very nice, although I thought the portions were noticibly on the small side. Its not that we were looking for mountains of food, but I did think the portions were too small.
