The restaurant was pleasantly atmospheric for an early Sunday evening , end to the week-end night out. The staff were welcoming , efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The food, apparently simple was elevated by a kitchen which produced food that isn't the same as you'd readily replicate. It tasted and looked wonderful with some extra special flavours. The espresso crème Brule in particular was worth fighting over, but the fighting was avoided because the rhubarb crumble was almost as good.

The food and winelist were fantastic but the crowning glory were the staff. Both my partner and myself felt we were amongst friends and we had a fantastic night. The only problem is finding an excuse to go back, hopefully as soon as possible

Lovely food, excellent service. A little expensive, and I miss the nice indoor terrace you used to have. But an excellent place for a chat.

Lovely restaurant and food, the only drawback was the fact they forgot our desserts.
After the 40 minute wait the ice cream was served on a warm plate.
Apart from that part of the experience everything else was very good.

Thought it was really lovely, food was great, drinks and cocktails looked and tasted great. Only complaint was that me and my date were sat beside large groups of people, first a hen do, then a birthday. one after the other. So it was quite loud and I felt I was yelling and I couldn’t hear my date talk. But other than that, I really enjoyed everything.

Great bar man, great waiting staff. We had a great and relaxed business meal. The food was excellent from seafood to steak. Our vegetarian attendee commented on how tasty and innovative these options were. The wine list was marvelous and the overall experience was great.

I booked at short notice looking for a nice pre theatre meal at a convenient location. Staff friendly and helpful, food excellent and a good atmosphere. We opted for the early bird menu and there was a nice selection. We will return for sure.

Very disappointed . Bar staff more interested in having a good time and being ‘cool’ behind the bar , rather than engaging with the customer who is clearly an inconvenience to be ‘dealt with ‘ until they are moved to the table . We were seated at bar while waiting for a table and barman not particularly interested . Too busy cleaning glasses and tossing empty bottles in the bin ( the racket was extraordinary ) that I actually thought we were too late and bar no longer serving . I asked him were they closing and he looked at me like I was mad ! Then asked for a peroni beer ( listed as being in tap ) and curtly told there was none . His attitude didn’t invite question . I waited until another bar tender appeared and asked him . He apologized and said yes that Peronis was listed as draft but had been changed to an alternative now available . Easy ... and courteous answer . I have to say this set the tone badly for the rest of the evening . We would have left at that stage but table became available . Just ordered a mains then . Have to say the dining experience was totally rescued by our wonderful waitress Julie . Just outstanding . Absolutely worth her weight in gold . Food was lovely . House red wine ( primitive ) was good . Unfortunately , we won’t be back and the sad reality is that this restaurant ( and certainly the staff with the exception of our Julie ) will be neither interested nor bothered .

Great food excellent service. Menu variable and very tasty. Feel the restaurant itself could do with a paint job and some pictures on the wall as the newer section lacks ambience and is a bit cold.

Food was very good. Service was good up until the end when the waiter made us wait close to 15minutes to pay by card while he chatted away at other tables (not actually serving) despite acknowledging we wanted to pay and saying he would be with us in a minute.

We had fantastic afternoon at Pichet. We had the set menu lunch and all chose the white onion soup and then steak. Both were delicious. The service was attentive but not invasive, and as it wasn’t too busy we were able to stay at our table chatting and enjoying the cocktail menu after we’d eaten. Thanks for a lovely dining experience, we will definitely be back!

Very attentive and friendly waiter. Appropriate pause between courses. Quiet and easy to talk without background disturbance such as musak. Food interesting and taste. Helping of Boeuf was too big and slightly intimidating for that reason. Tables a bit close together but ambiance was overall very agreable

Spur of the moment decision to dine out on a damp Sunday evening. Food delicious, tasty oysters and haddock beignets followed by perfectly cooked steak and suckling pig. Service was both friendly and professional,. Cocktails were delicious.
