   Absolutely superb meal at the Porthminster Kitchen on Friday evening - tasty local food, beautifully presented, relaxed ambience and friendly, knowledgeable waiting staff. I would highly recommend visiting Porthminster Kitchen if you're staying in St Ives.

   From entering the restaurant we were made to feel welcomed and received excellent service. The menu all sounded delicious and was a difficult choice. I opted for the scallops and my partner the pork belly. Usually we try abit of each others but there was no way I was sharing, the scallops were cooked to perfection and in an awesome dressing. I then has the daily boat fish which was Plaice topped with mussels, samphine and a delicious butter. There were potatoes also but I was too engrossed in the delicious fish. My partner had the linguine which was abundant with prawns and mussels and equally yum. We shared a sticky toffee pud with ice cream and left totally stuffed. Would highly recommend for service, quality of food and general ambience.

   Magda is a delight to deal with! The food, some of the best food I’ve ever had, great portions, amazing taste and the view is to die for! Magda recommended great options and took some lovely pics for us, will definitely be back!

   This was my first visit to the Porthminster Kitchen. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, and the food was absoultely superb. Myself and two friends had the Sunday roast, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most delicious roast dinners I have enjoyed. The portion sizes were spot on. We would have had room for desert without being uncomfortable; however, the meal on it's own was plenty enough. I will return.

   We had Sunday Lunch roast, food with one creative sweet was excellent as was and the welcoming and service. Would recommend booking window table.

    Despite being very quiet due to the time of year, we had an absolutely exquisite meal with exceptional service. Highly recommended.
