    Usually this place is excellent. This time it missed its mark. I ordered my meal with apps. I ordered a soup with my meal, and separately ordered a Caprese salad and sautéed spinach to come first. After the apps -caprese salad arrived and I finished them, I was advised there is no soup left and was offered another salad instead. Really? More salad. If there was no more soup, it should of been stated at the begging not halfway done. The veal I got was not the normal tasty juicy flavorful veal. We were also placed in the side room, which is away from the entertainment even though I had a reservation. I had made the reservation with Open table and even was given from "open table "a $16.00 voucher which was not honored for unknown reasons. This a very good restaurant, but today I did not see the owner around. He is on top of things when he is working the floor.

    Chilean sea bass was "old", "fishy" taste. Food was swimming in oil. This was true of the Chilean sea bass, the grilled vegetables, and the veal marsala. Ambience was deplorable---place needs some sprucing up. No one greeted us when we came in---finally, after several minutes, the bartender came over to escort us to a table.

    Over all very good. Five buck up charge for bread is different and not in a good way. they ran out of tiramisu

    I ordered the Tuscan shrimp & crab dinner and it was amazing! I look forward to returning and having it again. We have frequented Positanos a few times and each time we are thrilled with our meals. They have an extensive menu to choose from. The stuffed mushrooms are a must along with the meatballs and the veal piccata is outstanding. The chef here always does an amazing job. They even make their own bread every day! The prices are reasonable given that they have entertainment on most nights. The service is always friendly, prompt and professional. We highly recommend this place as your "go to" for a great meal, super service and a friendly atmosphere.

    First time visitors for our date night on 7/25/2026 and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Everything from the warm welcome from the owner himself, the ambiance, the jazz duo with a singer to the phenomenal cuisine, generous portions and impeccably fresh offerings made for a very enjoyable date night.     This restaurant has improved immensely over the previous establishment. The Sea Bass is the most delicious dish I've ever had. Live entertainment is an added bonus lending to a wonderful experience. Well Done Positano's!

    We ate an early dinner around 3:15 on a Sunday. We had our 2 yr old with us so we like to avoid the normal dinner rush. Our server Dee was amazingly attentive and kind! She made the dinner experience 5 stars. We started with Arancini which came out room temp to our disappointment but it was otherwise tasty. I had cream of chicken soup while the wife had a house salad. The soup could have been seasoned a bit more. For entrees we got the Chicken Marsala and the Gnocchi with a side of sweet sausage. Both were incredibly tasty. We finished the night with tiramisu and espresso martinis. The dessert was delicious but the drink left a lot to be desired. Overall, I’d dine again. It’s amazing how a positive and kind server can make or break your experience.
