Prickett Richard is a cocktail bar located in the underbelly of Comery Block Barbecue. You’ll find the entrance in the back alley just off the corner of 17th Avenue and 6th Street SW. Look for the steel door and head inside. You’ll see a kitchen on your left, don’t go in there, just head downstairs and through the wooden clad door straight ahead. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are available based on availability.

    We were excited about visiting this venue for the first time. I booked a table for 7 a week in advance assuming that seating that size of a group may not be easy. The hostess was cheerful and very inviting. Unfortunately we were sat at the table right next to the front door, so we were regularly bumped into by other guests waiting to be seated. Along with experiencing a draft every time the door opened. It would have been naive to be deeper into the seating area, but that just wasn't the case. This was our second location of the evening, so we didn't try the food, but everything we saw come out looked great. The drinks were good as well. Towards the end of the night our server's attitude changed, and she became quite short with us. So that was our signal to leave. I think I'd like to try this place again with a smaller group to get a better feel for it. Overall it was a fun experience

    Abby was amazing! The music was the highlight of our night, best playlist and great vibes. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to stop by for cocktails.

    Delicious food (oysters are a must try) and incredible drinks, as usual!! I had an orange espresso martini that was the best espresso martini I’ve ever had!

    This is by far our favorite cocktail spot in Calgary!! Service is out of this world, such impressive and unique cocktails that have a beautiful presentation but are perfectly balanced. Fun vibe. Good place to celebrate!

    Very cool & intimate place. Have gone on very busy nights and quiet nights: equally wonderful just very different! Snacks are great, yet it is a cocktail bar so not a lot of food choices (wish they still had their calamari). Highly recommend for date nights or small groups!

    Great time as always, drinks were fantastic although quite pricey. Service and music was on point. One of our most Favorite speakeasy in Calgary.
