    For us this was first time visit at Rathwood. From first meters entering we felt welcome. People were kind, calm helpful. We came with boys for Easter Train experience. Staff guide us to it and as soon we sat in our seats in train - magic started. Boys loved everything about it- cute farm animals on side of road, baby lambs, cows in far. The Show was fantastic- with touch of comedy, loved touch of Top Hit music. We tried and enjoyed as much time was allowing us as we drove from Dublin. Experience at restaurant was superb too. Our waiter Liz was exceptional. If our boys asked for anything, they got it in no time. My son wanted another jar of ketchup and I was not expecting himself to ask for it, but Liz was very professional and git it to him. I would like to thank you young gentleman who I asked for cheese ( did not catch the name- sorry). We were impressed with cleanliness, brightness, kindness. You made our day. Kids were exhausted. Slept whole way back home. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️ Thank You

    We came here before heading to the Easter event as a family of 4 (3 diners and 1 infant) the staff were very warm and welcoming, the food was lovely and felt very clean and healthy, we had smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and brown bread which was presented lovely and the bread was extremely fresh. My son really Loved his pancakes which were freshly made and served nice and hot. Overall a lovely experience.

    Magda assigned us a room and 20 of us celebrated together. Beautiful food and lovely space to ourselves. Our mother / grandmother died recently and we celebrated her 99th birthday in her absence. We had a lovely time.

    Excellent meal and the lady who served us was a credit to her employers. A really wonderful experience.

    Portion size was a bit small for the price. Very tasty though. Service was very good. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff.

    Excellent service. Far too much bacon with the French Toast. French toast could be hotter when served Waiteress was excellent

    Staff were super friendly on Arrival but because they were so busy they dod not get time to check in with us or bring us our check we had to go look for the server to pay our bill.

    Attended as part of the Santa train experience. Had a table booked but still had to wait 15 minutes past the time outside in the queue. Once at the top of the queue seated immediately. Waitress who took our order very friendly efficient, good knowledge of allergy information for coeliac at our table. We had 2 toddlers with us, their food arrived 10 minutes after we’d received ours. The server delivering the food put a scalding hot bowl on the baby’s high chair tray, luckily I noticed and took it away before she could touch. Just a lack of common sense in terms of serving which meant adults dinner was going cold/being half eaten by hungry toddlers. the food was good, the restaurant is clean, we would go again if at rathwood, I just think that on occasions where the customers are primarily young families, they’re could be some more basic thought into the waiting out in the cold, kids meals being served first etc.

    It was a lovely service there was a long gap between mains and dessert but I suppose that can be excused as its a busy time of the year
