Wood Fired hand crafted Italian food set in a rustic modern open space in the warehouse district in ATX. A wide range of specialty dishes created by Chef owner John Carver and his staff on a nightly basis. Our house made Pastas, Fresh Seafood, and Prime Steaks are all prepared on wood fired grill, oven and plancha. An International wine list, specialty craft cocktails, and local brewed beers to choose from. Dolce and some Grappa, Amaro or Vino Dolce to add to your dining experience at Red Ash Italia.

Everything was excellent. The special appetizer of the evening was apricot w burrata, prosciutto, arugula, pistachio & topped w balsamic. The flavors made my mouth very happy. From there the bone marrow, pastas & garlic bread all complimented one another. To top it off dessert was yummy too. I was fortunate to meet Chef Blake & thank him for our wonderful dining experience. We look forward to being regulars!

We will defo be going back! We celebrated my bfs birthday and we’re seated at the bar. Our host was amazing!! The service, food and atmosphere was great!! For starters we had the bread, clams and meatballs. For mains we had beef sirloin, the rigatoni and the agnolotti pasta along with sweet potato. So we ordered our desert to go the donuts and tiramisu. Even after we got home and waited a while the donuts were still fresh and warm.

Enjoyed the vine tomatoes and burrata and the Fruitti Di Mare. The clams oreganata were drier than usual. We were a party of 2 and seated at table for 4. Another party was seated at the table and the staff did not bother to separate the tables. We needed to rearrange the furniture ourselves.

We got a last minute cancellation at 5.15 pm on a Monday night. This was a pre-birthday dinner for one of us. A total surprise how good the food was - we had been once before when they just opened and this was way better. 1/2 pasta portion is enough for one person who is not super hungry. One of us had the small plates for russett potatoes and corn risotto - both very good. Italian bread was amazing. And as a surprise - birthday cake on the house. The service was excellent and attentive.

We celebrate special occasions at Red Ash and have for years. They have delicious food and service. We ordered the hot and crispy bread, snapper, bone-in filet, wood grilled broccolini, Yukon gold potatoes, and the sweet potatoes. One of our many favorites is the Octopus on the small plate menu, however the portion was noticeably smaller than prior visits and the Cappelletti "Bishops Hat" which has always been a favorite was dry and a little too al dente for our group of 4. All other dishes, including the desserts, were fabulous.

It was very difficult to book a table at this restaurant, and the reviews were very good, so I was excited. However, the food is tasty, but not awesome. It's just tasty. Another important thing to note is that I have been to Italy, where they have a different cuisine. However, the tiramisu at this restaurant was unreal! It is very close to the authentic Italian tiramisu.

Everything about our experience was amazing! The food was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Our server was wonderful as was the ambiance of the place. A great birthday treat!

Wd loved the appetizers, entrees, cocktails, wine and dessert we ordered. Everything tasted exceptional. It was a lovely place all around and we can't wait to go back again soon.

We got the Bruschetta of Prime Steak Trimmings to start, followed by the Agnolotti Del Plin and Capelletti "Bishops Hats" for our entrees. It was the best Italian food that we have ever had and definitely in our top 3 favorite restaurants of all time. 11/10 recommend.

Celebrated my boyfriend's 30th birthday at Red Ash on a Tuesday night. Everything was perfect — from the drinks to the free dessert and champagne to end our celebration. We had an appetizer, split a large and small pasta, and had dessert and left stuffed. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

I have been talking this place up to my husband for months and I could tell he thought I was going over bored with my compliments. Finally I got to bring him! We ordered several plates all outstanding, when we got to the main dish, he said, "food this delicious should be illegal." Needless to say, we had a fabulous night with incredible food.

The service was just ok, the waitress took at-least 5 minutes to just greet us, however she was very knowledgeable in the menu and explaining it which was nice. While service doesn’t need to be checking in at my table every 3-5 minutes, my date and I were waiting close to 15 minutes every check in interval. just to add, she also brought us 5 count on a pasta dish, when we ordered 10 but due to not wanting to wait, we just kept the dish. Finally the food, was good overall, however the meatballs were a little bland in flavor.
