    Aus der Lieblingskategorie: "Wenn hohe Erwartungen noch übertroffen werden!" So geschehen gestern Abend in der sehr schönen Villa Merton, wo ich das Überraschungsmenü von André Großfeld und Team genießen durfte. Und Hallo, was war das für ein sensationelles Menü. Regionale Inspirationen, wundervoll auf höchstem Niveau umgesetzt und mit ganz viel Feel-good Effekt. Einfach herrlich! Dazu sehr tolle Weine und super Service. Einfach ein perfekter Genussabend!     Rather disappointing experience. Other than the ambiance set in a villa the whole evening was a failure. We went for the 8 course and each was a journey in bland, unimaginative cuisine often presented plainly. The biggest disappointment was the service. One of the waiters barely spoke two whole sentences the whole evening. Not one of the three introduced themselves and often the untalkative one threw the plate down like it was a diner. It was a busy Friday night and they clearly needed more staff. A BIG miss for us.

    Was soll ich sagen? Einfach perfekt, passt alles. Besonders angenehm, dass man sich viel Zeit nimmt und den Gästen damit viel Zeit gibt. Die Mengen, wie in einem Restaurant dieser Klasse üblich, überschaubar aber für die Geschmacksentwicklung ausreichend. Nur so kann man aber auch ein 7-Gänge-Menü überhaupt schaffen, ohne am Ende aus dem Haus zu rollen zu müssen. Vielen Dank an das Team!

    Der Service war leider nicht immer aufmerksam. Das Essen war für diese Kategorie dem Preis nicht entsprechend, das Stubenküken war z.B. trocken. Es hat immer irgendwie das letzte i-Tüpfelchen gefehlt.
