The drinks have become much too expensive for the quality. Twice what I pay in most places: $500 one for Don Julio Blanco (hardly top shelf) and one glass of wine. Over half my lunch bill. Rather than stick to one beer I'll have to look for better value. Too bad. I like everything else about Rio Viejo.

Ambiente agradable en terraza. Atención amable y eficiente del personal. Te dan información de los platillos y te sugieren si les preguntas. Atienden pronto cuando necesitas pedir algo más. Reservación atendida en el espacio y a la hora solicitados. El sabor y sazón de los platillos que comimos nos pareció agradable y y sabroso. Los moles, quesadilla de pato, molotes de plátano con mole... muy rico

Es un menú pequeño, pero todo se antoja, al ambiente fisicamente le falta vida (my muy personal opinión), colores más vivos y un buen mantenimiento y contraste a la vegetación.

Notamos que los platillos bajaron sus porciones. Nos dijeron que teníamos que retirarnos a las 5:30 porque tenían su posada pero eso ya fue a la hora del postre

El trato brindado por el gerente o dueño (nunca lo supimos) fue muy cordial y atento. La comida muy buena o excelente. Cuestión de gustos. Los molotes de plátano; el quedo fundido; la quesadilla de pato... todo. El único detalle que saltó a la vista y le quitó la excelencia a la visita fue que los meseros se "pierden". Se ponen a platicar en la barra dando la espalda a los comensales. Por supuesto que regresaremos.
