Parking is available at the Ritz Carlton "selfpark" on 22nd and M. With validation guests will pay $10 for a maximum of 3 hours. We also validate for the PMI garage on 24th and M beneath the Westin. With validation, guest will pay $10 for the PMI garage.
Public transport
From Foggy Bottom Metro (Orange and Blue Lines) 1. As you exit the Metro, turn left onto 23rd Street. 2. At the traffic circle, take the 5th exit and continue on 23rd Street. 3. Walk one block. 4. Turn right at L Street NW.RIS will be across the street on the left.

I had been by the restaurant on many occasions and when an organization came into town and were staying at a nearby hotel, I chose RIS as place for dinner. Given the number of good restaurants in DC, I simply cannot recommend RIS as a regular option. Service was good, ambiance OK, but the food was disappointing.

Kind of a disjointed menu, but the food was very good once you figured out what to order. Service friendly, but slow. Place was empty, which is always a red flag, and made it lack ambience, but would go back for the food.
