About this restaurant

Il Principe Restaurant was born in Pompeii in 1986 from the idea of Marco and Pina Carli, the star of the Campania catering business, a pioneer of the kitchen and sustainable cooking archaeology.

In June 2018, the son and Chef Gian Marco Carli took the reigns of the restaurant and inaugurated a new headquarters, with an innovative look that is in step with the times with a dynamic cuisine rooted in the extraordinary culinary tradition of Campania, without ever missing a bit of innovation to each plate.

In addition to the gourmet menu, the restaurant offers a Bistrot area and cocktail bar where you can enjoy from a simple aperitif to the most popular dishes of the Campania tradition.

Extensive wine list with over 100 labels with a wide range of Campania as well as the rest of Italy with an eye to great French wines.
