Head Chef, Troy Watson, has put together a brand-new menu, packed with flavour and tasty fare. Aside from a nice variety of gorgeous mains, you can also try out the beautiful, fresh wood fired pizzas from the pizza oven!
Roberta’s is filled with volumes of natural light pouring through the fantastic windows on either side of the building – and through one of the key focal points, the breath-taking glass atrium style ceiling. The sky stretches out above you as you grab a comfortable booth, sink into a cosy chair with a frothy beer or a crafted cocktail on the courtyard style terrace, or pull up a stool at the bar.
Attentive courteous bar staff. Great atmosphere and Suzanne is a great hostess! We’ll be back.
We had a lovely experience overall however after we asked for the bill a big group of people came in and we were ignored for 30 mins. We had no food or drink left and just wanted to leave but we kept been told we will be with you now but had to wait! 30 mins to wait on a bill is far too long
Lovely decor. Great service but the dessert was inedible. The servers responded great though. I will definitely go back
Our meal was lovely. Every one was satisfied with each of their courses.
The menu could do with more selection however.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Food was amazing and good value.
Cocktails were awful, nether myself nor my partner enjoyed the €11 cocktails we paid for at all.
Ambiance was fantastic - good atmosphere.
Loved the waitress.
Food was only OK.
Everything was awesome, thanks for the amazing night I had. Special thanks for the chefs who did a great job.
The ambience and decor was fantastic - as all the Press Up Groups locations are, however the food itself was simply mediocre. I had baked eggs (€16) which was rather tasteless, with little to no njuda and a tiny slice of sourdough toast. Black pudding was overdone and the whole thing was just... dry.
It’s a pity, they’ve let themselves down.
The food was cold for all 7 of us. The space is great so thats unfortunate.
Food was very poor.
Three of our group had salmon and all very disappointed. The taste of sauce/dressing was most unpleasant. One other had pasta with cauliflower and equally as bad with no taste.
Will not recommend nor return.
We always enjoy Roberta’s for brunch or dinner. Always a great atmosphere. It would be nice to see a few more main and desert options.
Great food. Fab location. Highly recommend !
We were a mixed group of grandparents, siblings and a small child and we got a fabulous service, the food was amazing and I can’t wait to go back, our waiter deserves a special mention as he was super 👏
Beautiful, highly recommend
Good pizza but no garlic mayo. Would come back again.
Standard of food was below expectations especially in caparison to the prices. Poor choice especially only one steak and came with sauce on steak after specifically asking for it on the side. 3 potatoes which were over cooked and totally not worth the price paid.
All in all it was a very enjoyable evening. The food was delicious especially the pizza. I never get pizza when I am out as I find them too big and stodgy but this was one of the best I have ever eaten.
My husband is gluten free and he was so thrilled when he heard about gluten free pizza on offer. And it was also delicious.
Our waiter was so helpful and friendly. Wine list was very good. The menu is a little limited but good options all the same.
My only complaint ( and its small), the place was quite cold.
Poor menu - too few options. My dish was not up to my expectations of this group of restaurants. I have been to Sophie's and Angelinas on a number of occasions. I will not be returning. Why is the menu so limited? Staffing problems? Not good enough for the money being charged.
Food was average unfortunately our hot food and drink didn’t last long as the area we were seated in was absolutely freezing.
Roberta's is definitely as other reviewers have clearly indicated - a really lovely spot for causal dining and has the opportunity to linger on afterwards for a drink or two. The noise level is just right for ambience, atmosphere but more importantly that you can actually hear the conversation at your own table. This is what other casual dining venues in Dublin should be aiming towards. The staff are really so nice, cool and have sense of humours! Keep up the great work here because it does take effort to get it right!
Booking from 6-8 and were asked to give back the table at 7:40. Particularly annoying given the fact that the restaurant was half empty.
Sunday brunch: nice place, friendly staff but very expensive for what you get. The quality of the food is pretty poor. Eggs Benedict €16 with potatoes only half cooked.
We now know why the place was half empty on a Sunday at lunch time.
Great food and great service but a little too much volume on the music - difficult to have a conversation!
I was so surprised how rude the waiters were. They shouted specials at us and threw down dessert menus
Unfortunately the noise level was so high that it was very difficult to hold a conversation. I understand that the restaurant turns into a nightclub later in the evening, but earlier it is a restaurant, and an acoustic ceiling is badly needed. Otherwise the service, ambience and food was good, although expensive.
Second time at Roberta's and fell inlove even more with the place. Food is really good, cocktails are delicious. Service always at high standard. Defiantly will come back many times to this place.
The service wasn’t great to be honest but the food was delicious.
I love Roberta's and am there a lot but on this occasion the service was terrible, we had to ask for everything & waiter clearly just forgot we were even there. We were left for around 40 mins after we finished eating & had to get a waiters attention for dessert menus. The food was great as always. I told the FOH lady but we left a very small tip because of this.
Were we seated on the fair corner and pretty much forgotten by the waiters. Everything was hard to get, menus, drinks, food, dessert menu, bill.
It would be understandable if the place was packed, however, it wasn't that busy.
Pretty disappointing, and stressful brunch.
First time to Roberta's and we will certainly be going back! Food and atmosphere was excellent. Compliments to all involved.
The worst service I have come across in a restaurant in a very long time. My husband was given a flat pint of Guinness that looked like it had been sitting on the bar for hours when he asked for a fresh one the waiter questioned him quite rudely and.then took 30 minutes to bring a fresh one. The service did not improve for the rest of the night. We asked what was the fish of the day and he grunted "there's no fish we only changed the menu today"
That sums up my birthday night at this restaurant!!!
In general it was good
We had a group sitting above us in the bar area that were very loud and we didn’t appreciate it
Staff were good
Nice starter / main but the food was a bit slow coming out
The premises was quiet impressive, really bright and nicely decorated.
Service was good and very prompt.
The food was nice, but the menu was quite limited for brunch.
Good pizzas at a great price. Cocktails are also lovely. Can recommend the sour aussie.
I had visited Roberta's in December 2018 & was so impressed that I booked a table for my husband & I & our 2 friends. Very disappointed that we were brought to a table with 5 chairs, but only 4 people. The 5th chair wasn't taken away. Our coats weren't taken from us to hang up, as had happened previously. When the food was served, the waiters leaned across the table rather than going around to each person to serve us..& the food was taken away & we hadn't finished our meal! So disappointed as I had recommended & booked Roberta's..don't think we'll be going back
Very good overall. Good choice of food. Should move from Christmas dinner offers !
Found it a bit too expensive for the quality of food... very fatty steak.. way too loud, found it very difficult to chat. Wait staff were nice
Good service, good ambience and nice food and drinks.
While the food was very good, the service was a big let-down.
The first of our party (3 people) arrived at 18.50 for a table booked at 19.00. Upon arriving they were asked if this was it of if the rest of the party was on the way. They waitress was advised that the rest of the party are on the way. We were then asked the same question when each person arrived. Drinks had been ordered so it wasn't that the table was being held up with no money being made. Before the last of our party arrived we were asked if we would be having wine. As we didn't have the full party & those there already had drinks we couldn't answer. When the last of our party arrived menus were placed in our hands & we were told that they need to get the order in as they will need this table back. Most of the party hadn't really got time to even look at the menu but orders where given. And again the wine question was asked but before we could answer the glasses were removed & we were told they can bring the back if we order wine.
When the starters arrived they were very nice but we felt very rushed to finish as the waitress hoovered around until the last folk full was eaten. This was the theme for the night. The same happened with mains & it "most get order in" happened for deserts as well as the hanging around waiting for us to finish.
We tried not to feel rushed but this was very difficult and the only time we were left alone was when we had paid the bill. Then they never came near us again while we finished our drinks (not being asked if we wanted more). The kitchen closed & the table was not required as the waitress appeared to understand.
I understand that staff have lives & kitchen need to close etc, is this really necessary
Would I eat here again, not for the service & not for the price. To celebrate a birthday this is not the way you want an evening to go.
