Head Chef, Troy Watson, has put together a brand-new menu, packed with flavour and tasty fare. Aside from a nice variety of gorgeous mains, you can also try out the beautiful, fresh wood fired pizzas from the pizza oven!
Roberta’s is filled with volumes of natural light pouring through the fantastic windows on either side of the building – and through one of the key focal points, the breath-taking glass atrium style ceiling. The sky stretches out above you as you grab a comfortable booth, sink into a cosy chair with a frothy beer or a crafted cocktail on the courtyard style terrace, or pull up a stool at the bar.
Great atmosphere, good food choice.
Convenient location in city centre
I booked Roberta's on the recommendation of work colleagues. Having booked at it, I read some Trip Advisor reviews, many of which said the service was poor, the staff rude etc.. I was therefore apprehensive but decided to reserve judgement.
The service on a busy Saturday night (8.30 booking) was very good. The Maitre D (woman) was friendly, good eye contact and the waiter (tall dark haired) who dealt with my friend and I was friendly, professional and efficient without being sycophantic.
Orders were taken and delivered with just the right gaps between courses. Service was excellent.
I really liked the ambience. Busy and energetic yet spacious.
My starter of ravioli was dry and stodgy, the main course of sausage cannelloni very good with an unusually appealing rocket salad. My friend ordered a burrata starter (no complaints) but found his main course consisted of duck which was underdone. Not sure whether he was asked how he'd liked it, but didn't send it back either. I tasted it - delicious.
We drank some excellent Sangiovese wine. Desserts and coffee fine.
Only quibble was the fact there only appeared to be one cubicle in the Gents' rest rooms which was continually occupied. In a busy restaurant there really should be more.
The meal was pricy but expected that in city centre restaurant. Overall service and ambience excellent, food just short of top quality.
Great place and excellent attention, very likeable and would recommend to anybody!
We went to Roberta’s with our children, I had been there several times before and loved it so was looking forward to taking my husband. My husband and daughters meal were poor, lukewarm and lacking in flavor, Sophie had the prawn pasta, she left most of it on the plate, when I mentioned it to the waitress she told me it was the most popular dish! My husband had the duck which was over cooked. Both my son and my meal were excellent.
Lovely welcome, brought to our table at once, service very efficient and friendly, food very tasty stayed for drinks after very nice a very enjoyable experience
Fabulous venue but unfortunately the really mediocre food let’s it down. It’s a real shame!
I've went to Roberta's last week and would not go back. The service was so slow and we had to ask where our food was on numerous occasions. The food was then below average and cold due to the delay. No apologies from the staff until the very end when they knocked half price off our main meals.
Would not recommend to a friend.
I attended with my wife for her birthday and we were both impressed with the ambience and the food which was fabulous. However, we sat down at 7:30pm and ordered food and wine. The starters were slow to come out which was fine but the mains did not arrive until 9:30pm. We then ordered a coffee and a dessert, the coffee arrived but the dessert had not arrived by 10:30pm so we cancelled it.
Notwithstanding the delay, the server was excellent and she couldn't have been more helpful, apologised for the delays etc. Once we cancelled the dessert, the manager did immediately speak with us and he was excellent in how he dealt with the situation. Despite the delays, accepting the restaurant was busy and the managers confirmation that the delay we experienced was not normal, we would come back to this restaurant as the food was excellent, we loved the surroundings and the customer service was great, which made up for the frustrating delay.
Fantastic food in a great atmosphere.
I always go here for brunch with the girlfriend.
I ordered the avocado toast, portion size was better than last time I had been, but it was so bland! I could have made better myself. Blueberry pancake was good.
Starter, crab salad was very boring for the price. Air conditioning too high, noise levels ridiculous, a place for the young I'm afraid, would not go back
Really fab place but pizza wasn’t good. Pizza shouldn’t be a hard thing to get right!
Really nice restaurant. Great service great food. It was a bit hard to hear friends talking...
Had an amazing night out with work colleagues for a special occasion. The food and drinks was beautiful and the service was efficient and friendly! Our table was over looking the river which was a nice touch!
Can't wait to go back!
Roberta's has a great atmosphere and we felt it as soon as we arrived. We are a family of 5, visiting from Boston, and we all loved it. This is a lively restaurant (with a fantastic bar) filled with smartly dressed locals. The food was great, the service was wonderful. Would definitely return!
Lovely night out with friends in Robertas. Great layout and spacious. Service was great and our waitress was so lovely. Good for all occasions as lively, but also quiet corners if u want a chat.
The interior was 'loft style', spacious with comfortable seating. The menu was not overwhelming and the food was delicious and well presented. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. A truly great place and would definitely visit again.
Good food, cool decor. Staff surprised us by bringing out ice cream cakes with candles and happy birthday written on the plates, even though we didn't mention anything, which was very thoughtful. Would definitely go back.
Myself and my Girlfriend went to Roberta's for a nice meal whilst on a weekend break to Dublin, firstly the service we recieved was outstanding even with the restaurant busy beign saturday night, the food was delicious and one thing i like about this restaurant was the kitchen was all visable through glass windows which tells me they have nothing to hide, the price isnt the cheapest as your looking around £120 - £140 for 3 course meal and a cheaper bottle of wine, but if you can afford it i would reconmend it.
Nice place !! Food really good although main course was cold!!! Service needs attention!! Very noisey we were a group of 3 and I struggled to hear what the girls were saying!!! Good atmosphere, quite trendy and cool
Had a lovely meal last Saturday for a friends birthday. From the time we walked in the staff were friendly the atmosphere was great and we got a fab round table overlooking the Liffey. The food was very good and good value. Will definitely return.
The place was very busy and as a result incredibly noisy. All the hard surfaces don't help the acoustics. Service quite slow but at least they didn't hustle us off the table after the agreed two hour window, which was good.
Really enjoyed the meal. The Iberico pork was so special. The butternut squash ravioli was a little bit hard in laces but despite that, it as lovely and would order again. My friends were visiting from the UK and they loved it too. Thanks
The staff could not have been more accommodating to my friend who was in a cast. They made sure that we had a table at the bar after our booking as she was unable to stand. The food was delicious, highly recommend!
We had a great evening. Food was yum, cocktails were one of the best we’ve had. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Cannot wait to return to try something else ☺️ Would and have already recommended it to friends and clients
The pan-fried hake with a Wasabi mouse and ginger was outstanding! Fabulous service too...
Great food, Great staff and great atmosphere in this place. Could do with Making the menu a bit bigger, more steaks etc. But would not stop me going back. Great night thanks all.
Disappointed with service and standard of food. Such a pity, as the venue is great.
Had a lovely meal here recently with a group of friends. Good buzzy vibe, nice food and a lovely view looking out over the Liffey lit up at night. Will definitely return here
The good points were that this is a lovely room and the staff were friendly for the most part. There were few mistakes with our order and the staff were great at making it right.
Less good points were the bouncer outside who was surly to the point of rudeness barely speaking on arrival and not even acknowledging a goodbye when we left. We were seated right next to other parties to the point that we might easily join in their conversations because we were so close as to be uncomfortable. I guess it is ok when the place is busy but it was not even a third full.
The food was terrible. I only had a pizza and it was heavy, greasy and tasteless. I didn’t finish it which is really unusual for me!
Bless them though, nice staff but I won’t be back.
Another great meal in Roberta's. This is the fourth time I've visited in the past 4 weeks and I've yet to be disappointed. Food is always good - cocktails are great and it's such a great space to chill out with friends/family/colleagues. Everyone that has visited with me so far has been impressed with the space and the food/drinks. Will definitely be back!
Booked on line. Very easy . Good greeting at front door. Beautiful interior. Excellent Italian waitress . Very good menu. Great evening dining with friends.
I love the cosy feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The salmon was amazing and the crab salad was refreshing. Service was well-timed and friendly, even though we went for a late food at 9pm, they did not rush us. Wines were affordable."
Enjoyed our visit to Robertas, Kids loved the Pancakes although a bit large portion for them but they were not to be defeated!!. Coffee service was slow as another large table ordered at the same time and we had to wait 10 minutes - this was explained nicely to us. Otherwise a great experience. Will be back.
Very happy with the food and service. Would definitely recommend.
Booked restaurant through a recommendation, was very impressed food service everything was lovely.
It was a meal with my friends for my 40th birthday on our last night and having our last meal here ended our weekend to Dublin perfectly. X
On arrival before we got our table we were told we must be finished by 7.30. Good start to our evening. I ordered a vodka and tonic - no Schweppes! Crab salad starter - where was the crab.. We ordered a bottle of wine at 7.00 and our waitress questioned whether we were qualified to consume it in our 30 minutes remaining and she asked if she could bring the bill at this time. The experience was further compounded by the arrival of the Manager at 7.20 reminding us that there were people waiting on our table and that we should go now.
The whole experience was unbelievably unprofessional, inhospitable and rude. Producing a stressful memory and ensuring our resolve never to annoy your staff again.
We will be copying this on to Trip Advisor.
A very enjoyable place to eat - love the bar and terrace areas , food very good value for money
Nice ambience and chilled vibe, cool decor! Staff are super friendly and helpful without being overpowering! !
Restaurant - service and food- both great. Loved the views onto the Liffey too. Very comfortable & cool restaurant.
Service from bar was a little disappointing. We asked if it was possible to charge our phone (with our own charger) and we got a little too much attitude from one member of the bar telling us to go talk to the host. If you are ever thinking of attracting a business crowd to lunch or dinner this attitude will need to change and charging solutions made more freely available.
