Roberta’s Restaurant and Rooftop Bar is a beautifully designed space, with contemporary cuisine served to you beneath a bespoke glass ceiling! Nestled between 1 East Essex St and Wellington Quay, this spacious eatery is open for dinner 7 days a week with brunch served at the weekend.

Head Chef, Troy Watson, has put together a brand-new menu, packed with flavour and tasty fare. Aside from a nice variety of gorgeous mains, you can also try out the beautiful, fresh wood fired pizzas from the pizza oven!

Roberta’s is filled with volumes of natural light pouring through the fantastic windows on either side of the building – and through one of the key focal points, the breath-taking glass atrium style ceiling. The sky stretches out above you as you grab a comfortable booth, sink into a cosy chair with a frothy beer or a crafted cocktail on the courtyard style terrace, or pull up a stool at the bar.

Enjoyed it....but we had two children with us and maybe a kids menu might be worth doing...especially for brunch when people would tend to have their kids with them???
Most of table had pancakes and each wished there was a stack rather than the one pancake which they thought was more cake texture than pancake texture. But it was still lovely none the less.
I personally had the burger and it was WAY too salty....the chips were covered in salt...I was parched all afternoon. I don’t mind salt...but I’m sure for some people it was way too much .
Also...had to ask for condiments, would suggest they come as sides.
Also...the presentation was bit blah....in some restaurants the plates are oblong and make a bit more presentation....the chips are in a bowl or tin etc... here I felt it was like someone just threw everything onto the plate.
Don’t get me wrong in that we had a lovely time...but you are asking me what struck me...and so that’s what I have to say...

Roberta's was recommended to me by a friend with local knowledge. It's rather dark and unassuming exterior opened up in to a buzzing and extremely busy (even at 6.30) large space of a restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Cocktails were excellent, food was excellent but could not quite say outstanding. However, as an experience overall it was outstanding.

The place was lovely but far too loud to have a chat as I couldn't hear my friend talking who was right beside me. Fantastic venue though and gorgeous cocktails. I see it more as a cocktail bar then a restaurant.

Roberta's is such a great spot. The food (THE PIZZA!!), ambiance and service were all amazing. Every staff member we dealt with was super nice and professional. A great range of cocktails and I loved that the menu showed what type of glass each one came in. They even made up a cocktail that didn't feature on the menu for my friend. They also had a good selection of non-alcoholic beers and mocktails for anyone expecting/non-drinkers. Would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Visited Roberta's with a friend. We both had the pancakes with a passion fruit bellini and everything was really lovely. Service was a little slow and our waiter wasn't the friendliest but maybe that was bad luck! I would still return and recommend it to friends.

Had a lovely afternoon with friends. Menu is possibly a little limited for brunch but all the food was very good. At €33/bottle the prosecco is expensive for a very average prosecco. G&t was good and nicely priced. A nice glam setting and very relaxing. The decor is really fab. Overall a great brunch and I’ll be back

Was really impressed with Roberta's for dinner with friends. They couldn't have been more accommodating, to the extent that they reshuffled their bookings to give us another half hour after us arriving late. Decor, ambiance and service all fab.

We went after the mini marathon. I had a pizza and my friend had a mushroom pasta. The pizza was ok but not worth €16. I didn’t like the pasta at all. Overall the service was great the restaurant is beautiful but the food was bland and overpriced. Don’t think I would be back for dinner. Maybe give brunch a try at some point

I was immediately impressed with the layout and decor of Roberta's. I was struck by an atmosphere that was efficient but relaxed, tasteful but unpretentious. The service was stellar, so kudos to all the staff. I enjoyed the food greatly too. My only issue was with the cocktail I ordered, which disappointed me. It was all ice and no substance, little flavour, and was very miserable on the alcohol. However, that would be my only criticism! Otherwise a wonderful experience, and I hope to return soon.
Thanks a million and all the best
Conor

Met two friends in Roberta’s for food and a couple of drinks. Food was divine and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Special thanks to Seán who was more than generous to us that night and couldn’t have been more friendly despite being incredibly busy.

My husband and I had dinner in Roberta's on Saturday night. The service was excellent despite being very busy. The food tasted really good. Our waitress asked if we enjoyed our meal and I mentioned that I was disappointed that there was only 4 prawns in my main course. She apologised and gave us a desert on the house. In hindsight, I should have mentioned it to her during the main course. We would be happy to eat there again.

Love Roberta's. This was not my first visit. Although I only gave 3 stars for ambience the decor is fabulous. The reduction in rating was for the loud music which is always a minus for myself and my friends. We did ask for the music to be turned down and it was but before we left it was turned back up.

Would recomend for drinks.nice pre drink venue but not ideal for dinning as it was so loud we cudnt hear each other across the table and woke up with sore throat from shouting. It's a good complaint it's busy but not on overall nice dinning experience although the food was good.

Really lucky find when our chosen destination was fully booked. Great place. Lovely atmosphere, really good waitress. Great cocktails that actually tasted of alcohol. But the food was fantastic. I scrapped every morsel from my plates. Will definitely revisit and recommend to my friends. The only fault would be the lack of bar staff who are kept busy making cocktails so keep their eyes down.

Food was amazing and waiter was really friendly and helpful. Table was perfect size for our party of 8. Really recommend the sirloin steak and the “chocolate”. Vegetarian in our party really impressed with the options available and loved the pizza. Wine was reasonably priced. There was no bulmers or hop house which was a shane but perfect other than that as we went on to the local area for after-dinner drinks.

Booled for my wife's birthday for the 2 of us. Food was ok but nothing special, and service was slow. Probably would not return for a date night. However the place was buzzing and would consider going back with a large group for a night out.

Went to Roberta's with my family for a birthday celebration. The venue is spectacular, operated by the same people who operate the Dean and the VCC, but Roberta's is the pick of the bunch. Food was simple yet amazing, I would go as far as to say it was the nicest meal I have ever had while dining out in Ireland. Staff were very friendly and professional. I would recommend Roberta's to absolutely everyone! I will be back as soon as possible.
