I've been here before on business in the evening and had no issues but this time on a Sunday lunchtime it was different. Firstly, my wife found out that she'd sat on chewing gum on a bar chair and this was met with something akin to 'oh well it happens, send us the dry cleaning bill'. The drinks order at the bar was wrongly delivered and after we sat down, I found the waiters quite aloof, impatient and intolerant when taking orders. The food took longer than usual which was surprising as it wasn't that busy and was only the brunch menu. The food and surroundings were as good as ever though.

Great food & ambience but disappointed that we could only have our table for 1.5 hours for Sunday Brunch which is supposed to be a relaxed dining experience

The food was great but the experience not so good. I get that restaurants want to turn around tables fast but 2 hour slots for meals do not make for a relaxing experience. We wanted to have a drink after we had finished dinner as we normally would in a restaurant. Not a whole session just a drink. But we were moved off the table and could not get seats in the bar. We asked staff if we could sit back down as our table was still empty but they said no. We then asked could we have to space at the bar vacated by the next occupiers of our table, the staff said we could but then disappeared not to be seen again. It seems you actually have to reserve space at the bar.... We stood to finish our drinks and then left. So while we enjoyed dinner the after dinner experience spoiled that for us.

Delicious food in a beautiful restaurant and at a very reasonable price. All the staff were incredibly nice. Will definitely be back

My husband and I went for brunch to celebrate our anniversary. I had informed the staff previously and they really looked after us. Lovely table, great food, attentive staff and a Happy Anniversary plate to finish it all off! Will be back for sure.

Maybe the dinner menu is better but we felt the brunch menu was very limited. My 2 friends ordered the avocado toast with a side of smoked salmon but the salmon was served on top and 'cooked' the salmon which they found unappetising. The bread underneath was also soggy. I had no complaints with my sausage muffins. We were disappointed that the waitress didn't ask was everything ok when she cleared away 2 nearly full plates of food. Loved the atmosphere but wouldn't come back for brunch.

Service was particularly good. Girl who served was above and beyond.

I've been to Roberta's for drinks but this was my first time eating there. I only had pizza but it was very tasty. Overall it was a good night and I will definitely go back to try some other items on the menu. You need to book in advance to get in, just a tip!

Lovely place, the décor was so nice and I loved our table sitting looking out over the river. Great selection of wine and the food was good although the red peppers in my dish (that days special the sea bass) tasted like the ones out of a jar!! Could be wrong though...

But really nice and I look forward to returning.

I've been to Robertas 3 times now and sadly it will probably be my last! It's a great venue, staff are good and atmosphere is great too...... the food lets it down. I was sorely disappointed by brunch but gave the dinner menu a go.... it was fine! If I go back again it'll be for drinks only.

Amazing food, nice atmosphere/ambiance and great service!

We had a delightful girls brunch here at the weekend. The setting is fab and we will definitely be back!

Venue looks great and has a good vibe but the food and menu options are not up to the same quality.

Waiting staff could also be friendlier. Waitress unwilling to substitute one form of potato for another with the main course - "we can take away but not substitute" - which seemed strange for a new place and was unwilling to check with chef.

Main course of seabass was very dry and lacking.

Food also presented a way too quickly after ordering, as if pre-prepared (possibly prompting the 'no-substitution' rule'!

Beautiful venue in a well located spot. Food was delicious. Loved the duck heart starter. Dessert was a little bit disappointing in comparison to the starter and main. Service was excellent and special word of thanks goes to Rafa for looking after us so well. Will be back!

Booked in for brunch with a friend and we were very impressed. Best pancake I’ve had in Dublin and the house potatoes were amazing - could’ve eaten them all day! Passionfruit Bellini was also lovely. I’ll definitely be back for brunch (and dinner) soon!

Very poor vegetarian selection and not very hot when it came to the table. Didn't complain as we were headed to the 3ARENA and needed to be on our way. TBH it was expensive for what we got. Would not eat here again. The decor and the location are gorgeous

Very expensive. Starter was nice. Pizza was tasteless. Bottle of water was €5. Overall over priced but lovely setting and very friendly staff.

All very good except the house wine and the fact that the riverview part was closed. Latter very disappointing. Staff and food terrific though and decor is lovely.

The service, drinks, atmosphere is great. The food doesn't live up to the standard of all the above.

Great bar. Food ok, fancied pizza and no huge vegetarian options so went with reliable but boring Margherita. Pizza went cold very quick and therefore wasn’t very enjoyable. Service very friendly. I would say that once your 2 hour allocated time for eating is up you are completely left to your own devices. Not a lot of seats for after dinner drinks. We were lucky and eventually nabbed two but if you want people to stay and spend the money then there needs to be a level of comfort. Great cocktails !

I like it a lot in terms of the food and the restaurant setting but was not that impressed with the service and it all felt a bit rushed unfortunately :-(

A good music playing in the backgrounds would be perfect. Music is essential.

Amazing experience! Staff very friendly and efficient and catered for our Vegan needs even though no options on the menu. Fantastic wine list too! Would definitely go back & highly recommend to friends & family!

Great ambiance. Excellent cocktails! The food was fine. I would recommend going, especially for cocktails.

We had a great evening apart for the fact that it was quite nosy, other thank that: great food, great view, great location, beautiful setting. Very nice!!

The food was incredibly disappointing. The price did not reflect the quality of fare served. Otherwise, the venue is great with a buzzy atmosphere, pleasant staff and an appealing interior. Unfortunately due to the standard of food, I would not recommend Roberta's for dinner. One could always pop in for happy hour/late night drinks. Improve the food and this place could be a real gem!

Steak was over cooked. Ordered medium rare.....steak was cooked medium well. We advised waitress but we didn't have the time to wait for a new steak to arrive.

Overall, a really nice place

Must say our waiter Fergal was an absolute gem. We were celebrating a joint birthday and he surprised us with ice cream.

Absolutely lovely meal and atmosphere.

Loved it here, as did all of my party. Great atmosphere and the place is very chic New York style with some cool Art Deco styles dotted around. Food was great...everyone enjoyed everything!

The staff were extremely attentive. I loved the ambiance of the place however the food was just average, really nothing special for the price. The restaurant and Decoration are really nice.

The place is really nice and staff is very pleasant, however the ambience is not as expected. Very loud with ecco everywhere, too dark and food was not tasty at all. Price vs value was not as expected at all. We had a pizza that was taffy, a salad that was OK, not very tasty for its price and very small and a chicken with carrots that was small and chicken without any flavor at all.

A lovely evening with friends. The staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. I thought it was good value for money & had a great buzz- I will definitely recommend to friends. The manager Baguio was extremely nice & professional thank you!
