The idea for garden upscale dinners is great, unfortunately it is difficult to maintain consistent quality of food provided, considering the concept. Loved the atmosphere and drinks, however the Mexican cuisine we were tasting was really subpar - especially for that price tag. I understand that it’s still a street food, so I can forgive the paper plates and plastic baskets. However, the taste was really bland which is such a shame as Mexican cuisine can be so colorful and powerful in taste ! Moreover, the way the food was presented didn’t seem appetizing at all, seems like they were not even trying to make it look appealing. To top it all, we were unfortunate to experience two food mishaps- once we got an already squeezed lime on the plate instead of a fresh one, and once we happened to get plates where one of us had all the ingredients on the plate while the other was missing some. To be fair, they have fixed all when noted, however this should not be happening when you only have 10 tables to serve. Also, it was very clear which service was provided by roe&co. and which was the street food van people. I love street food , but the attention that their part of the experience was lacking, was truthfully hurtful. The only thing that saved the night were wonderful cocktail pairings and our roe&co waiter. We will definitely be coming for other roe&co events, as long as it’s all under their perview. I feel like in this type of events, roe&co should perform better due diligence or even a short staff training for the hosting food providers, as at the end, it does reflect upon them as well.

Came here with a friend. The outdoor ambience with beautiful, except the heating lights were so bright. It was difficult to look anywhere but away from them. The whiskey tasting experience was good. However, the food was unfortunately terrible. Not just for the cost but in general, the food was the worst we’ve had on our entire trip. The dumplings were very undercooked and cold the inside. The chicken skewer was very uncooked. The prawn dish and rice tasted mushy and over cooked. I will say the small bite of dessert was good but minimal. All served on paper plates that became soggy and onto the food. For the cost, the food was terrible. For safety concerns, undercooked meat was dangerous and unfortunately, one of us became sick from this. Sad disappointment as outside area was beautiful and whiskey good. But the food was just awful.

Paper plates took away from the meal, pairing cocktails were not great but al a carte ones were excellent. Lovely experience and staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

Food was amazing, absolutely delicious. Service was great perfectly in sync with cocktail pairing. Staff could not have been nicer. Sure its a bit expensive for what your getting but completely worth it for a night out with a difference. Highly recommended and will be back for whatever they decide to do at Christmas.

Can’t speak highly enough of Roe & Co. as a dining experience. Even in the rain, the sheltered outdoor area had a great buzz about it. Food (R&C x Hakkahan) and service was absolutely top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone.
