    I had the chicken and waffles. The waffles were a bit hard and chewy. Tasted more like a buckwheat version as opposed to the preferable buttermilk. Also I had to ask that it been all breast as opposed to the less appealing thigh, wing and breast with rib version. Ultimately it was not an exciting meal

    Looking for a place to have Brunch? Nice decor? Good food? Great service? Something for the little ones? Well…come here! This is my second time. First one was for super. Brunch did not disappoint. I had the chicken and waffles. Classic and did not disappoint. Staff is always nice and friendly and the food has been 🔥 every time.

    First time I went to brunch was amazing - this time I brought 3 newcomers - it took a long time for anyone to come to the table - and it took a long time for us to place the order then another long wait for the food. The food wasn't hot and was not as good as the first time. They made changes that are not in their favor

    Me and my husband like Root & Bone for it’s atmosphere. It’s mostly quiet when we go. We took our infant daughter for the 1st time and there was enough space for the stroller next to the table. Ryan was a server and was very nice and attentive.

    Some nights, everything seems to come together perfectly. Our dinner at Root and Bonewas just such a night. The inventive and perfectly mixed cocktails, the delicious food, and unparalleled service all made for a perfect meal. Jasmine was the most attentive and helpful waitress I've seen in a long time, and Wally kept making sure we were having a wonderful evening. We did. Everything we ate was amazing, but the blt fried green tomatoes were the best!

    Went for supper with my wife. She had the braised short rib which was delicious. I had half chicken R&B which had pickled onions pickles watermelon and a hot sauce. It was all delicious. The whole vibe. Perfect for casual date night. Plenty of GF options and GFP options as well. Chad was our server and he was great. Can’t wait to go back.

    This was our 2nd visit. Last Thurs the food (except no coffee and store bought dessert) & service was great which is why we came back. Today was not the same. I found that both the service and food were very inconsistent. On my first visit: Server, great. Biscuits, wonderful & the honey bourbon sauce served with them was great. I also ordered most of the appetizers since we were there during happy hour. The ribs were moist, delicious and memorable. 2nd visit - biscuits were hard, dry and dense. The sauce (we now know that it was chicken jus) was awful and cold. The 2nd sauce brought out (after I mentioned Thursdays sweet sauce) was maple syrup not what we experienced the first time - it was clearly left over from brunch. Ordered ribs again because they were delicious on Thurs but server took it upon herself to edit the ribs & bring sauce, peppers on the side which made them dry and tasteless. She did this assuming that we had issues with sauces/toppings because of the biscuit ordeal. The sweet tea was not sweet and was brought without ice (melted) despite asking for extra ice. Agnolotti was not available for either visit. The flounder, while seasoned well, was overcooked, hard and dry, as witnessed by the MOD, Caleb. The dessert on Thurs was chocolate cake - tasted store bought, nothing to remember. Strawberry cheesecake on the 2nd visit after mentioning to the server that I did not like the chocolate cake on Thurs. Apparently there were no strawberries as it had caramel and chocolate chips on it when it was brought out. No idea why the server would put choc on it especially to a customer who just said that chocolate was not a favorite. If strawberries were not available, we should have been advised. Caleb was very attentive and did his best to rectify but the only thing he could do was apologize and comp some of it off. He saw the missteps first hand, from the appetizer, to the mains, to the dessert. If our 2nd visit had been our first, we would not have returned.

    I went into this dinner with big expectations, thanks to reviews, and was a little disappointed. I lived in the South for many years, so I was anticipating big, rich flavors - only to be underwhelmed by most of what we ordered. We also went at prime time on a Saturday night, but the place was EMPTY, which was weird. We LOVED the fried chicken, but I wasn't in love with the ribs. The glaze was delicious, but the meat itself was dry. The grits were fabulous and I would order those again in a heartbeat, but the mac & cheese was super bland and was not very cheesy. My boyfriend loved it, but I wasn't a fan. The cocktails we tried were all great, and I loved the variety. Overall, I think it's a little pricey for the flavor quality. I would go again just for the fried chicken and the grits, and would love to try brunch. I think I was still expecting rich, delicious Southern food, and maybe my expectations just steered me wrong!

    When making the reservation I indicated it was a birthday and got a response back saying noted. When ordering I even said something to the waiter indicating the birthday girl. Nothing was done for her Three of us order chicken and waffles from the Miami Spice menu. The salad appetizer was very good. When they brought the chicken everyone got a breast and drumstick except me. I got a wing and a thigh. When I said something about the vast difference I was told everyone get two pieces. There is a huge difference between those pieces. Regardless I decided not to eat all the waffles because I was looking forward to the lemon meringue pie. The waiter brought out peach cobbler. I said oh I wanted the pie and was told they didn’t have it..something that should have been pointed out before we ordered since I would not have ordered from the miami spice menu. The cobbler was mushy with a few pieces of canned peaches in it. None of us ate more than a few bites. For a birthday lunch this was really disappointing.

    6 of us went to dinner for the Miami Spice menu. The food was fantastic! I think we tried all entrees except the vegetarian option, they were out that particular night. Dessert was fantastic, too. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the whiskey/bourbon/tequila/ etc they serve. I can't wait to go back!

    It was easy to get a table on a Friday night. It wasn’t busy and food did come out pretty quick. The drinks were great, but food was just ok. The hot sauce for the friend chicken is a must. Server repeated our order and still got it wrong but we enjoyed the meal. Not sure I can I say I would go back but I won’t write them off.

    Root and bone was beautiful! The staff was nothing short from amazing. The portion for the price is what got me. I loved the shrimp and grits, it just wasn’t enough grits. The chicken and biscuits were good and the fries were regular but the aïoli sauce was amazing!!!

    What an amazing experience! The atmosphere, service and food were beyond extraordinary. I will definitely be coming back for dinner and give a shot to their brunch. The cocktails were the perfect combination of refreshing and aesthetically pleasing. Everything, starting with the overall ambiance, has an air of simplicity, yet you feel like every detail is carefully thought out. A beautiful concept paired with a delightful menu.

    The best descriptions of our dinner is “adding insult to injury.” We had a reservation for weeks, and when our party tried to order food, we were told (in a VERY dismissive manner) that there was a large private party, so three of the six mains and several of the starters “have to be set aside for them.” For dessert, there was only one option. Atrocious planning aside, what angered us was that our server was beyond dismissive to the point of rude. She acted as if we were a hassle the entire time. It’s a shame because the food we were able to order was decent, but her treatment of us ruined a special evening.

    This was a last minute date night Miami Spice 23 decision & it was delicious one! Gotta give 5 stars for service! thou short staffed we received the best attention we have had in a long time! Hats off to the staff which was not only friendly professional & pleasant to us but reflected same thing with each other. It was like looking at a great art work in play! How each helped each other out without the “this is not my job” attitudes! Each of them made the other shine & therefor making us as patrons feel welcomed & appreciated! Then the food! OMG! Awesome $45 Miami Spice 2023 menu (do keep in mind at least what we choose did seem like smaller portion then regular non miami spice, but yet satisfying & delicious! Hubby had biscuit called Angel! & i can taste why! Fluffy warm drizzled with honey accompanied by a small cup with chicken stock. Mouth watering! His entree was Chicken & waffles (this is where we clear noted smaller portion). It had 2 small round waffles crispy outside & soft thru out. W 2 small chicken pieces 1 small drumstick & a 2nd small piece not sure if a piece of breast or thigh. With 2 side sauces. 1 hot & 1 syrup. Grab a piece of chicken dunk it in hot then place on piece of waffle which u then drizzle w syrup & pop in ur mouth! The combination of sweet & hot is a great one & wakes ur taste buds to a craving for more! W the Miami Spice 2023 $45 menu is 1 appetizer 1 entree & choose either a dessert or glass of house wine or one beer. Hubby went w beer. He enjoyed it all. I went w arugula grilled peach & fried pimento salad Each fork filled w a piece of peppery arugula peach & pimento was flavorful & refreshing! My entree was their best selling dish shrimps &’grits. This was a hearty warm full of flavor from the sausage which had a soft kick nice size shrimp on a bed of creamy smooth grits topped w their homemade picked onions tying it all together! peach cobbler warm w vanilla ice cream gooey delicious! Our 1st but not last!

    Nice atmosphere great selection service is always on point. Manager right on top of things and friendly. Don’t leave without trying the grits. First time trying the ribs so glad I did! Fell off bone full of flavor.

    The ambiance and setting is beautiful, the parking lot is small but also there is plenty of space on street parking. Food took a while, longer than expected and it was average. For southern style is still prefer Yardbird.

    Delicious! So much flavor in their dishes! We started off with an appetizer of the pork belly in maple syrup, and their biscuits! I should have ordered more to take home! I ordered the shrimp and grits for lunch. The shrimps were medium sized, tender and fresh. I would definitely recommend it and this beautifully decorated restaurant as well!

    We ordered several appetizers the devil eggs were good but tiny eggs! The corn was delicious we had the whole fried chicken was very good but rather small chicken pieces. Our waiter was the best very knowledgeable about the menu and wine recommendations. Overall it was a good experience we were celebrating my daughter and son in law 13 th wedding anniversary with their (my granddaughters) children so it was a family dinner. I made last minute reservations via open table and was able to get a nice table indoors. I plan to go back again and try other menu items. And the old fashion I had after dinner was amazing !
