We specialize in fresh fish, delivered daily by local suppliers and we guarantee to always have the finest quality available. Our seafood cuisine is characterized by the simple quality of the catch. We place our orders during the night, directly from the port where the fish is delivered to ensure we always get the freshest product available.
Pasta was perfecto!
Wonderful food, service and staff. Never disappoints! 10/10 as per usual.
Such a traditional classic yet elegant Italian restaurant specialising in fish
Highly recommend for a special occasion
Excellent variety of choices on menu, extensive wine list. They had Falanghina, which we love and can be difficult to find!
The waiting staff were attentive, friendly and efficient but not intrusive.
We had seafood fritto misto griglia and sea bream tartar- delicious! Mains were even more delicious: A mix of tuna and other seafood perfectly cooked and a huge plate of monkfish in a mild garlic sauce.
Desserts were equally impressive with a melt in the mouth chocolate cake and a bowl of assorted sorbets presented in the most delightful way!
I would go back any day! Absolutely top quality!
Fab restaurant , comfortable & perfect. Great food choices, wine selection fab, we would eat here every week!
Neat place with wonderful food (we had fish) & a great staff! Not sure anything else needs to be said.
Delighted that they have put back the meatballs on the menu.
The range of fish is excellent. Pasta dishes are really good and fresh.
Will most definitely be back.
Every food served in this restaurant was delicious.
Staff here were very gentle and nice. If I lived in Dublin this place would be somewhere I would want to go every month
Overpriced, food nothing special. Simple fresh fish could do better at home.
Excellent Italian seafood. Great wine and top class service. Lobster pasta is the choice.
I absolutely love Rosa Madre, I travel down from Belfast just to eat and drink there.
I have zero complaints.
Amazing fish, from tartare’s and carpaccio to crab linguine and a delicious turbot oven cooked with potatoes, a few cherry tomatoes and black olives. Delicious. As usual
It’s a lovely restaurant and def worth a visit. My expectations were high based on recommendation. The starters and dessert were superb and the main was fine but nothing special. Wine very good. The service improved during the evening but no one actually welcomed us or actually spoke to us for the first twenty minutes but the main host was lovely when he cane over. It was a lovely evening and there’s a good ambience in it
Rosa Madre is a warm and welcoming restaurant. The food is generally good but my husband's steak was a little overdone and my fish was quite dry. Starters were very good. The wine is definitely overpriced.
Beautiful food and excellent service!
Genuine Italian dood, great fish quality, good service, high level wine list.Bravi!!
Food and service were terrific
Everything was great!!
Fabulous anniversary dinner. Food was simply out of this world. Scallops and burrata to start followed by seabas and carbonara with truffles all accompanied by beautiful wine. Nice and relaxing.
The food was amazing and the wine the waiter paired with it was perfect!
Great seafood. Super service (attentive but not intrusive). Wine list good range but rather expensive. Overall a very nice bite.
This place is absolutely amazing. The food, ambiance and service was impeccable. However, we only got out reserved table 20 mins later cos the restaurant was busy. Can’t wait to go again.
Food was excellent as was our service. Would highly recommend.
All very good and rafinate, but really too expensive for my wallet, the wine around 50-100€. Two people at least spent 200€ for dinner.
The food was outstanding, my favourite fish - Branzino was cooked to perfection.
Unpredictable bill if you order one of their whole fresh fish meals (to share). Paid over €200 for 3 starters and one large fish to share and one €46 bottle of wine
Best Italian food and wine ever
Luca is a fantastic host
Nothing any trouble
Having lived in the Dublin area all my life, I never knew Rosa Madre existed until last Friday. Booked a table based on great reviews online and I was not disappointed!
The restaurant is much bigger than I expected and had a lovely cosy, quiet ambiance. Staff were wonderful and made some nice suggestions based on the menu and the specials of the day.
The food is fantastic, not particularly fancy or fussy but just really high quality ingredients and great flavour. I would say that I thought the price of the main, a turbot dish for two was quite pricey, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and the fish was filleted by the waitress at our table.
Would definitely recommend Rosa Madre!
The service from the staff was impeccable and the food was absolutely stunning and delicious!
You lack a decent house wine in bottle. Only by glass.
In general your wine, while good quality, is too expensive.
Really good! ! A nice place with high quality Italian food. Maybe the price of wines is too high and I don’t like that, if you ask only for a glass of wine, they bring you the glass already full, without seeing the bottle. But again... good food!!
Absolutely excellent standard of costumer service. Always feel well looked after. Best restaurant in London. Amazing fresh fish and a great champagne selection .
We went for the second time to this restaurant especially chosen by my husband to celebrate his birthday. We booked 2 weeks in advance and were already looking forward to the dinner .. as soon as we arrived they told us that the table was not available yet and they will have it ready in a couple of minutes .. that couple of minutes turned into 20 minutes .. and above all the staff (especially the guy at the cashdesk) was really rude, they didn't even offer us at least a glass of prosecco for waiting, so things didn't start great. After that we finally got to sit and ordered 2 spaghetti with clams and 2 octopus appetizers + a bottle of white wine ... very poor quantity (60 grams of pasta) and food was ok but nothing exceptional, good wine but crazy price, the only positive thing , all the waiters were very kind. fuerthermore we were expecting at least a digestive or a glass of prosecco as it was told in advance it was a pecial occasion. The bill was crazy and we were still hungry (+ 70 euros each). We won't return there any more !!
We had a wonderful Saturday evening with fantastic food and amazing wines. Great service - very friendly!
We can really recommend this restaurant if you love fresh seafood!
Not sure - the general feeling among the 4 of us was it was expensive (€75 per head for 3 courses and 1/2 bottle of wine). The raw fish did not overly impress (both taste and presentation - cut too thick and warm). The main was delicious and they had run out of 3 desserts by the time we ordered. The staff were a bit mixed (offhand at the front door, waitress was fine). So overall lovely food but pricey and not an amazing experience.
Just great by any measure.
Expensive, but delicious for sea food lovers. Quiet place and outstanding service
My second visit in a matter of a few weeks, such a lovely restaurant. The food is excellent.
The best Italian restaurant in Dublin. Food was superb. Service friendly and welcoming. Will be back
Red wines should be served at an approx. temperature of 18 degrees! Our were much to warm and must be put in ice.
Fantastic meal, nice and relax atmosphere on a Sunday night (we tried to book a table on Sat night and it was really noisy)
