It’s just ok, don’t expect much here. It’s Yosemite. The food is just ok, wish there were more choices or a special now and then. Wish there were healthier options to choose from. Kids menu is a lot of beige food. There is very little choice in Yosemite to eat , so the food here gets very tiring after the days here.

Excellent selection of cocktails and other drinks. The food was flavorful and had good quality ingredients. I had the salmon entree and it was delicious!

We enjoyed dining on the shaded patio for our five night stay. We ate most our meals in the restaurant and worked our way through the menu. The food is good and reasonably priced. Cioppino and Salmon were both excellent. Nice bar and wine list. Recommend that you make a booking well in advance.

Food was above average. Service was variable from day to day. Nice facilities and clean. My biggest problem was that staff allowed a family next to us to bring their dog into the dining room. The dog was 100% not a service dog and stayed underneath the family’s table throughout the meal. We are animal lovers though this is absolutely not okay inside a restaurant dining room.

It took 20 min after we sat for someone to come take our drink order. We decided to order a flat bread and a meal for a kiddo at that time. That food came before our drinks (a glass of wine and bourbon on the rocks…. Not complicated). When we got to order, after another bit of time, we were informed that the fish and chips were out (very sad since our oldest was as looking forward to those! Wish they informed us at the start). It was probably more disappointing since it was our 15th anniversary dinner which they knew. All in all, the food that came was good. The salmon was great as were the green beans with pesto.

Overall an excellent place to get a great meal just outside of Yosemite. We stayed on site for 3 nights and food was consistently good to great. Prices are at level for the proximity and experience. My one gripe to the chef is to please stop offering marinara as a “tomato soup” on the menu. If you want to offer tomato soup, then take the marinara base and find another pot and as some cream and basil and whatever else you need to make an actual “tomato soup”. If you can’t find another pot, then don’t offer tomato soup. Service is laid back to slow and very server dependent. It is a lodge with a restaurant. Not a destination restaurant, but overall they provide great food for the area and would recommend

I dined here twice during our stay at Rush Creek Lodge. At both times, our server forgot to put in our order which resulted in us waiting for our food for about 40-50 minutes. The server did acknowledge her mistake since it was her second day working there. I understand that mistakes happen but twice in a row! I did let the front desk know about our experience and they offered us spa day passes. I appreciate the gesture. Food was ok considering it was the only dining option on site and nearby.

Unfortunately we had terrible service… a different waitress helped us more than our waitress. I would say it was because it was so busy, but our waitress literally had three tables total and the restaurant was not busy.

We found the dining room hostess to be rude. Once seated, it seems as though the wait staff was over worked. The food was excellent.
