Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows, an open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room, floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. Ryleigh’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all week and is the ideal spot to grab a bite with family and friends. The dinner menu features tasty options such as Pan-fried Scallops and Shredded Duck Salad to start, a selection of dry aged Irish steaks for main (Striploin, Delmonico, T-Bone, Centre Cut and Tomahawk Ribeye for two) cooked over our charcoal grill, Crisp Skinned Sea Bass and delicious desserts such as Caramel Cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

    Great little place. Service was great. Very helpful and accommodating. Views were amazing across the river. Only downside was the very salty fries. The steak was lovely and tender. Full of flavour and the eggs exceptional and I usually would hate runny eggs! Would return again.

    Beautiful steak. But quite costly, steak is 48 euro and comes with no sides. Sides are 3-7 euro each so it was a bit much. But it was all delicious and the staff were lovely. We waited nearly an hour for the food also, but it was worth the wait.

    Our group of 4 spent €350 on a two course meal with 3 bottles of (the cheapest) wine which we thought was on the expensive side considering the highlight of the space - the view - no longer exists because of the enormous building site next door. Table was not ready on arrival. Beetroot and goats cheese salad was just leaves with big lumps of beetroot and a very light sprinkle of goats cheese. Server was informed of this and did nothing to apologise. Steaks were not cooked properly, one was so far off that one of our party was unable to eat it. Centre cut fillets were not good quality. Very fatty. Steaks were €43 each. No sides included. No sauce included. Everything was an extra charge. Despite the considerable spend we were asked to vacate the table by 7.30pm (booking was for 5pm) even though we were still drinking our wine and were staying in the hotel. Would not recommend. At all.

    Excellent starter’s two portions of sharer prawns. The steak and chicken and fish were very good but unfortunately the lamb main course was disappointing because the lamb was tough but after mentioning this dessert was offered free. The service was excellent.

    Myself and my girlfriends hooked up for dinner prior to a show in the area. Everything about the experience was 5*s. Style, ambiance, views, food, cocktails and wine and our waiting staff were all on point. Will definitely go back with my husband. Steaks were fab.

    love it here its always beautiful and amazing food and service especially for a business dinner. the only thing which wasnt a massive issue was there were ALOT of fruit flies around our table annoying us while we ate but it was fine. im not sure why there were so many but thats the only thing and possible something thats hard to resolve

    Fantastic all around experience, I attended Ryleigh's on a Sunday evening with a friend of mine. We were promptly sat on the terrace with beautiful views of Dublin and the river Liffey. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, she recommended the perfect glass of wine to pair with our steak and also recommended 3 sides, the creamed spinach, the corn ribs and truffle fries - They were all winners and the corn ribs were amazing. We both ordered the fillet's, they were cooked to a perfect medium-rare as requested, perfectly seasoned, a fantastic cut I must say, 10/10. We will definitely be back for the top-notch service and one of the best meals you can find in Dublin.
