About this restaurant

Innovative
Gluten-free-friendly
Neighbourhood gem

Sage is considered Nelson’s best kept secret. This is our effort to discreetly spread the word without our regular patron’s feeling that we’re exposing their private hide-away. What makes Sage so special is that people consider it “their” place. Located in the heart of downtown Nelson, with a beautifully appointed patio over-looking Kootenay Lake, Sage is warm and inviting, providing an intimate setting where friends meet with friends for good conversation over amazing food while sharing a bottle of local B.C. wine or a cocktail. A fusion of casual sophistication in both atmosphere and menu offerings, our lighting, décor, table placement and welcoming servers make every seating in Sage feel like a cozy corner.

Sage is always a great place to go because of the atmosphere and high quality service and food, but our latest experience was even better! Service was friendly, we had the Valentines fixed menu and the quantity and the food quality was absolutely fantastic! I completely recommend going here if you subnet already and my wife and I look forward to returning soon!
