   We originally asked for our visit to be made special as it was our graduation celebrations however nothing was done or said to make it special . Food came really quick however but for £45 I believe it dosent live up to the value with how full you get quickly . Would come again however quite sad it wasent made special it wasent busy either so this could have happend

   We had a wonderful meal at SakkuSamba. The food was fantastic and the service was on point. The staff were so attentive and there whenever you needed them. It was our 5th wedding anniversary and we were even given a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

   The decor and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The staff are lovely and approachable. The only problem we had is that when ordering they didn’t bring most of the food out and was missing a lot of items. We only ordered 3 times in the 1hour &half we had. The main thing we ordered was drinks. I think you pay for the name and the photos more than you pay for the food. £182 was not worth it at all.

    I was very disappointed, it looks like the standards have slipped. The food was terrible and the menu looks like it’s a lot smaller than when I went the first time. The sashimi tasted like it wasn’t fresh. The veg in the salads seemed like it was a few days old. Service was absolutely shocking; waiter would come and just plonk the dishes at the end of the table where we wouldn't reach. We didn’t get all the food we ordered. Overall not worth the extortionate price and I absolutely would not recommend. Another classic example of an Instagram orientated spinningfield establishment; all about visuals and absolutely zero quality.

    Great place to be on a Saturday night, whether you are dining for a special occasion or date night! We went as a date night and enjoyed everything the service was great and very attentive, the only fault was that some of the steak was over charred. They are are great with allergies.

    When we arrived we had a pretty good evening. I was really disappointed beforehand on the day getting a call from a really snotty guy who threatened to cancel our booking if I didn’t stop my work day, make my clients wait whilst I went and got my card to pay a deposit - despite this being done days beforehand with a confirmation email from sakkusamba. REALLY poor form. We won’t be returning.

    Although the decor and vibe of the whole restaurant was great, the service and quality of food really let it down. I had high hopes of SakkuSamba and had booked it months in advanced for a special occasion. Upon arrival I was greeted by the lady at the desk who asked my name and table booking then proceeded to tell me to “go upstairs, someone will take you to your table” I was then greeted by 3 members of staff who just looked as though they didn’t even work there and didn’t greet me or my partner. Whilst walking us to our table she was extremely quiet and struggled to explain to us how the restaurant works as we weren’t 100% sure on how the table service buffet system functions as it was our first time visiting. When it came to the serving staff, majority were very helpful, polite and friendly. However, throughout the night they were extremely clumsy and not just with our table something was getting dropped and knocked over every 10 minutes. As for the food, I honestly don’t have an opinion. I understand it’s buffet style so i can appreciate that some of the items may not come out as quick as the rest and not all items will be piping hot. The only item of ours that did arrive as it should have was the fries (which were undercooked), all the Brazilian grill items were cold and you could quite literally taste that they’d been reheated to a poor standard as the centres were still cold. This review could go on and on as I was extremely disappointed to the point I had to book MNKY HSE for the next day just to make up for it. I hope that this was a one off experience and no one else had to feel this way after spending £150+ on an upmarket restaurant like SakkuSamba
