   service incredibly slow, we had to ask for the bill twice and restaurant was not busy whatsoever. when on arrival at restaurant stated we had a booking and was not asked for name or time of booking. had to wait 30 minutes for desserts to be collected and people arriving after us were served a lot quicker. was charged with a 10% service charge which we were unaware of and we’re not told even upto the point of paying. we found out about the service charge when we got home. i think the service charge is ridiculous considering how poor the service was. food was nice and a nice restaurant however would not go again.

   Outstanding ! Forget the other over-hyped Italian eateries in Manchester - this is the best . Authentic Italian food with fabulous service in a great setting. this place has it all and I cant wait to return.

   Food was good but slow to come, came in dribs and drabs and was overpriced. It wasn't busy, but the waitress was dismissive and verging on rude. Been to this restaurant before, but probably wouldn't bother going again.

   Lovely atmosphere and music. Food was ready quickly and was very nice, piping hot too. Service was a little abrupt and impersonal. Our order was wrong, also didn't pay attention to the booking request for the terrace. But this is subjective. All in all a lovely meal out though.

    Fantastic food, incredible service. Very comfortable. Really accommodated some awkward food requests and made us feel welcome with a toddler. Highly recommend! We will be back (hopefully sans toddler!)

    We visit Salvi’s regularly when over in Manchester. The food is authentic and very tasty. The service was as Fantastic as ever. We will be back on our next visit

    Not the best experience for two of us after a glowing recommendation from a friend who visited midweek. Arrived on a Saturday evening. Our table wasn’t ready which was fine, so we waited at the bar for ten minutes. We weren’t served during that time or even acknowledged by bar staff who were run off their feet making cocktails for the big parties on each table. Shown to our table in the back of the outdoor marquee. Filthy empty booths around us as a wedding party had just left and the space was cold and felt cut off from main restaurant. We were then offered another table. This time right next to the front door away from the restaurant. Back to the bar to wait for another table. Not served again for ten minutes then to a table in the main restaurant which was what we were hoping for. Another 15 min wait to order drinks and a further 10/15 after that to order food. Food was surprisingly only mediocre as had heard good things. Restaurant was rammed with tables of 8-12, meaning service was slow and didn’t feel like an elevated date spot for two. To the Manager’s credit he apologised and removed items from the bill. He was great to deal with and wish the place all the best, but we still paid £130 for two courses a bottle of wine and two beers even with the discount. With this being a newer branch, perhaps it’s finding its feet, but with big tables of people throughout it didn’t feel great for a special date night for just two people.

    I booked Salvi’s for my 21st birthday with my friends and let me tell you, we were not disappointed!! Enjoyed the whole experience, the food was 10/10, the service was 10/10 and the surprise singing of happy birthday by the staff, following by dessert made it so special!!

    A beautifully clean restaurant with a varied menu which does not overwhelm. The food is extremely good. But beware, the portion sizes are generous! Value for money is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed. I’ve met friends there a couple of times (so far) and it’s the perfect venue for getting together.
