   Our meal and our waiter were both amazing. Our waiter (I wish I caught his name) made recommendations on how much to order and which wine and cocktails were what sounded like what we were looking for. We ended up having mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, lasagna, mushroom pasta and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was delicious but the lasagna was the best I’ve ever had. The cheesecake was okay. The caramel ice cream was great. This is my favorite restaurant in Austin right now. Pricey but worth it!

   Everything is wonderful with the exception of how loud it is. We were at a round table for 6 people and could big hear each other without almost yelling

   I absolutely loved this place! The mozzarella sticks were wonderful, I got the vodka pasta and my mom got the prawns. We ended with cannolis and sorbet. Our server was wonderful. Interior was so cute, will definitely come again!

   Great new Austin favorite for my husband and me. We had the Caesar salad, chicken piccata, and chocolate cake. It was scrumptious. Also the bread was so delicious it was difficult to stop eating.

    The place itself was very nice and had a good ambiance! However, our waiter was extremely rude throughout the meal. We asked a question about the wine, and he was clearly irritated by the question/never really answered it. His attitude persisted throughout the meal. The food was alright but not worth the price. And (this isn't a huge deal but...) we were seated outside, and there were no heaters (it was 40 degrees out). Overall, would not go back and would not recommend to a friend. There is much better Italian food at a better price and with better service in Austin!

    We were hoping the food would be better this time around, but it wasn’t. It was our third time trying Sammies’s. The cheese sticks were ok, but not hot which is our complaint for all that we ordered. Chicken parm and lasagne came out cold. Cocktails were good just took awhile. Jazz band was cool on a Friday lunch.

    The charm of this place made me feel like I was back on the east coast. The food and service were impeccable. I would highly recommend for a date night. The espresso martini is a must!!!

    Love love love Sammie’s!!! The restaurant is so cute and the food tastes amazing. We got the meatballs and the mozzarella sticks to start and I cannot recommend these two enough! For our entrees we got Lumache alla Vodka and Cheese Ravioli Bolognese. Both were great, but I really was obsessed with the Lumache alla Vodka - has the perfect amount of spice! We sat outside and it was so lovely and not too loud at all. Will definitely be back to try more on the menu :)

    Unbelievable food and cocktails. I think the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had with marinara AND aioli and the French 75 was fantastic.

    The food and service are consistently outstanding. The Eggplant Parmesan and chopped salad are heavenly! However, I did not care for the techno music or the speaker right above the table. Other people may not mind it so much. Overall, Sammies is a favorite!

    Dustin provided excellent service. Food was good, will definitely return on a future trip to Austin. Cool atmosphere. $86 for just myself (beyond my budget) - 1 glass wine, salad, pasta

    Sammie’s Italian was truly outstanding. Service was excellent, outdoor dining patio was excellent, menu and food prep were excellent, and wine list was excellent! I now realize why it’s so hard to get a reservation…..Sammy’s Italian might be the best all around fine dining restaurant in Austin!

    Had the most amazing dinner at Sammie’s. Our waiter Eric was nothing but incredible and assisted us in finding a fantastic wine. The food was fantastic. The Caesar salad is a must!!!! Can’t wait to go back to Sammie’s soon, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while!!!

    We came to town for the marathon and ate here one night. 11/10 would HIGHLY recommend! The food is amazing, the drinks are incredible! We are still talking about the ricotta pesto pasta. Don’t pass this place up if you’re looking for authentic Italian in Austin!

    Sammies is the best Italian in town, hands down. The menu is fantastic, the cocktails are tasty and it is always packed. You will feel like you’re in New York. The waiters are very knowledgeable and can make awesome recommendations. The lumache alla vodka is superb. Mozzarella sticks are divine. Time and time again Sammie’s nails it.
