We offer Happy Hour in our cafe area and patio seating every day from 4PM-7PM, with additional happy hour offerings Monday-Thursday. We also host a live jazz band on Thursday nights between 6PM and 9PM!
Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was very good - better than i was anticipating. I had only been there for breakfast/lunch so was not sure what to expect.
Loved the chicken pot pie. - comfort food was light and delicious.
We will return.
I had lunch at Sarah Beth's with a couple of friends last week. I ordered a spinach cheese omelet. The food was mediocre, the eggs had no taste. Waiters were in a hurry to pick up de dishes before we had put our forks down, we felt rushed. Prices were high. Will not go to this restaurant again.
Local muy bonito, el servicio excelente y la comida muy buena
Awesome food. Everything we ordered was fantastic. I was annoyed that there was no changing table in the bathrooms and had to change my baby on the bathroom counter. The counter was covered in water and had a cut out for the trash. Our waiter also only stopped by twice to check in. I had to ask twice for more napkins and a refill on water. However, that food is so good! Good food will for sure make me come back time and again. Just sad that in NYC it is hard to get good service.
Price to value ratio was rather poor. For the price, the food was not all that good or satisfying. Left feeling pretty disappointed.
It was our first time at Sarabeth’s West and we are fanatic of the Sarabeth’s @ Central Park South.
The food always is incredible and it was very good, but the place was packed yesterday and the service was not good!
The noise of the place made our experience not very suitable and once again we think that during peak hours it is better to have more experience waiters to attend the public.
Air conditioning was on chilly side. That is my only complaint. Food was delicious! Service was kind, attentive & very thoughtful.
Food was very good. All enjoyed their choice. Whole experience was good.
I went for lunch with a friend and ordered the lobster roll and fries. The roll was skimpy and tasteless. The fries were skinny, cold and tasteless. All together, it was an expensive and lousy meal.
One of my favorite Upper Westside restaurants for over 20 years or more. I knew Sarabeth and her husband & family, miss them but now and again I see Sara or her husband in the neighborhood or down at the bakery in Chelsea Market.
Hadn't been to Sarabeth's in over 30 years and it was excellent - just as I remembered it. If I lived in NYC, I would definitely go more often!
Food was fine, but the prices are crazy high for breakfast, even by NYC standards. $21 for a modest stack of small plain buttermilk pancakes and some fruit is really steep. Nice interior. Wait staff was nice but forgot to bring some items ordered and was not overly attentive.
Great comfort food. So glad we found this place. Nice vibe too.
Fabulous dinner! Great Happy Hour drinks, followed by Caesar Salad, Chicken & Waffles and Fish and Chips. Beautiful setting, great food. Outstanding service by Fernando. A perfect evening to celebrate a 50th Anniversary. Thanks!
Great service! A friend recommended this restaurant to me and will definitely recommend to others
Service so-so, not great, had to ask twice for simple things, very overpriced.
The food, service and ambience were wonderful as always. I usually save Sarabeth's as a special brunch treat.
They are very consistent and good food, service and value.
La temperatura del salon estaba muy fría, habría que llevar sweater o chamarra.
Todo lo demás muy bien.
I ordered the waffle and it was awful. Too dry. I couldn’t finish it. Shocking that it cost 20.50. Server was nice but not attentive. We had to find him to order and to get a second cup of coffee. And the restaurant wasn’t even busy.
Lovely, friendly, and attentive hosts & servers who got everything JUST right in an impressively relaxed-but-highly efficient way.
Everything we ordered was provided quickly and was wonderfully prepared.
A fantastic experience - we look forward to visiting again.
Great space, beautifully prepared dishes and drinks but outstanding and genuine happy employees. From hosted, to bus boys to servers morale seems to be through the roof. Congrats to ownership and management your people are super happy.
Great to return to the UWS and find that Sarabeths is still delivering the great quality it has always been known for.
Mediocre place -food and service ok, but the restaurant feels dirty, dated and there were way too many flies flying around. Very different from the rest of Sarabeth’s...
Nice table for six. Pleasant brunch
Good for friend’s gathering
Though the food was delicious the experience was great because of the service. I wish I knew her name but our server was excellent.
The lobster roll (@$30) was recommended when I questioned the waitress - meh! The crab cake sandwich came on an English muffin. We asked for sourdough bread instead. Also meh! And I know why it’s served on an English muffin - the circumference and the depth of the crab cake matches that of an English muffin. The 3rd member of our group had a hamburger. She said it was very good and it looked fabulous from across the table!
Also to be noted: Bathrooms are down a flight of steps. (Or, you can go to the bar next door & ask to use theirs!)
Although Sarabeth's was not crowded and my wife and I had made a reservation the hostess refused to sit us at the window and insisted on placing in a table between two couples. We left. We just felt abused and not appreciated. Again Sarabeths was not crowded and we had a reservation. There many other choices
I am very sorry that you left feeling unappreciated; unfortunately during this day, we did have upcoming reservations for larger parties that we did need to hold that particular table for, however it was not our intention for you to feel dismissed. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss this matter further so that we can make it up to you. Best, Shane Volpone General Manager
Always suits— whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just for tea. Comfortable and not too noisy.
I’ve been meaning to give feedback for awhile and hope management reads this. I come here semi-regularly. Things have been off and inconsistent recently. The service during brunch is really hurried and not very friendly sometimes now. Granted, it’s busy, but the staff will seem openly frustrated and/or minimally attentive. It’s not all the time, and some are really pleasant and friendly, but service used to be consistently good. I have always liked the brunch food, especially the green & white eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, and pork & apricot sausage but some of the prices have gotten SO high... It’s frankly a deterrent and while I used to order pancakes and sausage all the time, and come here more often, I have a hard time stomaching $21.50 for the pancakes and $10 for the sausage, so stick mostly with eggs now. Forget ordering the 4 flowers juice now—it’s $9.50 for a glass. Who in the world thinks these prices are reasonable? The dinner food, while reasonably priced, has tasted so-so. I recently happened to go during Restaurant Week and ordered off that menu. The ceviche was strong tasting and the coconut “cake” was like a tiny, cold, dry biscuit with a scoop of orange sorbet with ice crystals in it on top—it both looked unappetizing and tasted gross. I ate one bite only and the waiter didn’t even ask about it. The crab pasta was delicious but overcooked, not al dente. I hope Sarabeth’s gets it back together. I have good memories going back >10 years at both the UES and UWS locations, but eating here is not the reliably pleasant experience it used to be.
Good restaurant with lovely ambience, menu and food are above average but pricey
The food was outstanding, but the charm of the old Sarabeth’s has vanished. It’s now just one of many overpriced Manhattan restaurants. Excellent food if you don’t mind paying a bit more than is really called for.
Best breakfast on Uws!
Nothing was remarkable about the food or ambiance. The two dishes we had for brunch were just OK.
I had heard much about this New York institution and was excited to try it. We were there for Sunday brunch and the level of noise really detracted from the experience. It was such a shame. However maybe I had the wrong expectations.
Took my wife and niece from Japan for brunch. It was great. They loved it.
