   Fantastic and delicious, a bit tricky to hear each other so sadly missed the good conversation that usually comes with breaking bread. Luckily the food kept us individually happy, would love it if they could establish a quiet zone where the speaker was slightly lower (also great for the hearing impaired, migraine sufferers and people with sensory processing).

   Nicely set out restaurant though the chairs aren't very functional to the tables. food was lovely and could not fault my Pappardelle. The one thing the ruined the night was the bloody loud music. Seriously guys, people come out to eat and chat and makes it hard when you can't hear yourself over the loud music. AS stated food was good but won't be returning.

    I love love love the pizzas! Also, I am never bloated or feeling awful after eating here. The cocktails are sooo good! The staff are friendly and happy to have a banter. It can be quite noisy which made it difficult for mum and dad to engage so maybe next time I’ll request a table outside or in a quite spot of the restaurant.

    As someone over 50 years I found the restaurant too dark to read the menu easily and too noisy to hear each other. The food however was good and the decor nice. Next time we will sit outside.

    Just a few service issues. We ordered three pizzas to share - first came out, second came 20 mins later and third we checked on after another 10 mins and we just ended up cancelling as didn’t want to wait any longer. A few issues with drinks orders too and mascarpone in tiramisu tasted a little sour. Not great overall.

    The food and ambiance were great and the service was on point when you got it however we were placed behind a structural column so we were forgotten about. We had to chase up wait staff constantly to get drinks, order our meal and follow up on our salad. When they did service us they were great but it was annoying to be ‘out of sight, out of mind’.

    Happy to find this place. Very nice fit out sets a smart but relaxed tone. Menu provided plenty of options, and everything we had was delicious, though the filled pasta was a smaller portion than expected. The wine list is well thought out, with a balance of locals and imports, and a nice number of options sub $100. Service was friendly and professional - only fault was that it didn't quite match the feel (used starter cutlery was left for mains, and the staff were constantly at the table meaning it was not relaxing). That's getting pretty picky though, overall this is a great place and we'll be back.

    What an amazing and authentic Italian restaurant experience. The service was flawless. The ambience - from the fit out to the music - was lovely. We had the house seared bread and Fritto Misto for entree. For main we had the two specials of the day - one was a pulled pork pasta and the second was a lamb cutlet. This all went well with a Barbara and was finished with the house tiramisu and an orange lime and raspberry gelato. Noting that the chefs are from the Amalfi Coast and having been to Italy a few times we found this an entirely authentic experience and now rate it is one of the best Italian restaurants that we’ve ever been to in Australia

    We had a great meal at Sasso on a rare night out. We ordered entrees to share and a main each. Standout dishes were the Burrata and the Confit Freemantle Octopus. Portions were generous - we did not have enough room for dessert, although the dessert menus was tempting. Negroni was delicious, the perfect accompaniment to the food. Ambience was great - we were seated outside and although the restaurant is located on what can be a busy road we weren’t bothered by road noise. I have read some reviews saying the music was too loud, but we did not find that to be the case at all - the music and decor created a great atmosphere and we were still able to have a conversation. Service was attentive without being overbearing. We will return!

    Beautiful restaurant, and great service. We sat inside and the music was far too loud to maintain a conversation without straining to hear. Entrees came out very quickly and were all exceptional. Mains were great but the pappardelle description on the menu should most definitely be amended; described as "lamb neck ragout, ricotta salata, mint gremolata" this main was for some reason, drowned in chilli oil. Two people in our party ordered this and were quite disappointed as neither enjoy (nor were expecting) a "hot / spicy" dish. Neither person could finish this dish - quite disappointing for $33/dish. A great spot for dinner, sadly let down by the pappardelle.

    We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Sasso. The food was well presented and tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful. We could not fault anything and have already booked our next visit.     When we mentioned it was our 36th Wedding Anniversary at booking we could not have expected the service we received! The best table in the restaurant - sooo comfortable and intimate - we were addressed by name like old friends and surprised by a complimentary glass of Prosecco! The food is just outstanding ! Having travelled around the world and eaten in many restaurants this was simply divine! The Service from our waitress Talia (I hope I got that right !) was attentive but not intrusive and the owner Vince presented us with complimentary desserts (as we were so full we took them home!) Most definitely we will be coming back and telling All our friends !! 10 stars ⭐️ from Andrew and Sallyanne

    One at our party had a beer dropped on him which was unfortunate. Staff were great and helpful. His entire bill was removed which was not expected but very appreciated. I will definitely come back and try more of the menu.

    The place looks super cool- love the vibes. But the food and wine was just okay. I've been to far better Italian restaurants. Very thin pizza crust so it was all soggy. The prosciutto was average- not the best (had a fairly gamey taste which indicates its just average). Dough for the gnoccho tasted a bit stale? Dessert adffogato cocktail was pretty good though
