The setting may be elegant and low-key, but the Michelin Guide-listed restaurant food is anything but: diners will embark on a gastronomic journey to Greece. The two dinner-tasting menus inspired by the Elefsinian Mysteries of Ancient Greece will create unique feelings on your tasting pallet.
Ancient Greece is an inexhaustible well of knowledge with a rich spiritual legacy that teaches us that life is not what we see. The Eleusinian Mysteries were originally a beneficial agricultural celebration aimed at fertilising the earth. Later, they were associated with the initiation of a hopeful promise for birth and the deeper perpetuation of life with a powerful vow of silence in the gastronomic history of Greece.

nice peuple but out of price and not nice ambiance!! thé roof top is very small thé food is basic pas de réelle ambiance contrairement au autres resto du centre cuisine dite élaborée à grande échelle peu raffinée

The staff was lovely, and very knowledgeable about the dishes and wines. The food was fabulous and beautifully presented. Natasha went out of her way to accommodate us, as we were 7 diners, and gave us a corner seat with incredible views of the acropolis. The scented garden just outside the open window gave us drifts of smells from lemon verbena. It was a highlight of our trip.

A very good experience, with original cuisine that pleases both the eye and the taste buds, all in a friendly atmosphere. Pleasant service, with lots of explanations about the cuisine, but there is one drawback: everything is in English. In such a touristy location, opening up to other major European languages would be a real plus and would add to the overall quality of the restaurant.

Don’t get confused when reading the menu online. The food was awesome and the staff was first class. Also, the best view of the Acropolis. Just sit by the window.

We had a great evening at Sense with the most beautiful view on the Parthenon and the Acropolis. The menu was delicious. The service wasn’t. We felt like we couldn't enjoy our food because the waitress kept clearing the plates even when we were still eating the food. In my opinion this is unforgivable for a restaurant recommended by Michelin where you pay €420 for two menus with pairing wines. We would like to thank the owner for the glass of dessert wine that was offered to us.

The most wonderful meal we’ve had during the month in Greece. Creative, fresh, delicious. And of course, the view was spectacular.

Sense offers a beautiful angled view of the incredible Acropolis from its rooftop restaurant. There’s a 30 minute window of time, before sunset, when west-facing guests, closest to the windows, are blinded by extreme sun. Watching the sun set and the Acropolis lights glow is magical. Every other large view window was slid open allowing fresh air to lightly breeze into the restaurant. An artistic strip of assorted greenery swayed in the breeze just outside the windows and to the edge of the building’s rooftop. The stark white interior lights remain at daylight brightness all evening creating a blinding distraction to the delicate views in the evening sky. The restaurant offers two tasting menus only which are common with high end restaurants. We ordered both the regular tasting and the vegetarian selection. We also shared the wine pairing selection to share between us. The 11 course meals began right away and each course seemed to come more quickly than the last. Our server took great pride in describing each dish. His spoken English had a heavy Greek accent. At first, we strained our ears on each word he spoke and retained about 25% of the descriptions. By our 3rd course, we just nodded our heads and sampled the selections coming up with our own descriptions as best we could. There were many hand-crafted delicately adorned morsels throughout the tastings. They started to look too similar in compilation and on the same style of presentation plates. The majority of our tasting parade seemed pre-made, with only a few, that seemed to us fresh made prior to plating. In our opinion, the courses seemed to drag on and lacked delight and surprise. Covering the restaurant’s green Formica table tops with white linen cloths would be a welcomed upgrade. There’s a large wine bottled chilling cooler with clear glass front door along the restaurant wall. Bright white penny arcade style lights create a distracting vending machine image. Many finer 125 Euro each restaurants to try!
