   We visited cork from New York and had a hankering for pizza. This met all expectations was very good! So good we can back the next day and told several of our tour group members who also went and enjoyed! For any Americans visiting rocket is just arugula. We got several pizzas to share they also have a great 2 for $20 menus as well the appetizer portion were very large so great to get and share. The salads were also very good size!! I’d def go back if I’m ever back in cork again!!!

    My starter was lovely but the pizza a little too cheesy. Kids pasta was not great at all, undercooked and not enjoyed and left uneaten. Staff were lovely but service could have been a little more efficient. Ambience was nice and not too loud.

    The food was lovely and came out quickly...the service was swift and very polite. The place was very comfortable..the chairs were super comfy and the tables were a good spacing apart...it was a little quiet but it was to be expected as it was lunchtime on a Saturday. There was 80s music playing in the background which was really cool. Overall it was very nice and I would definitely return and recommend to others.

    Our food was not hot when we received it. We were the only people in the restaurant for the first 25 minutes we were there (at noon on a Wednesday) and there was no reason that the pizza and the pita we ordered should not have been completely hot. Food safety could certainly be in question.

    We had a meal in Sliced last Sunday and we were delighted with the meal but yesterday we had a table booked, food was very poor, pizzas were undercooked and base was soggy, I appreciate that it was really busy but we would have waited for our food rather than meals sent out that weren't of a good standard, we were disappointed as we couldn't eat our food so therefore had to go for another meal later which made the day very expensive.

    Forgot our main courses (30 mins left waiting) even though we ordered when the restaurant was completely empty. Then after 30 mins more, 1 of 3 plates was burnt & the wedges were cold & dried out. Eventually agreed 50% off mains + 2 drinks but took quite some complaining to get there. No manager on duty, staff seemed overwhelmed - even though there were max 5 tables occupied in the 3hrs (!) it took for our meal

    Just a bit quiet but overall really good. We enjoyed so much we wanted to order pizza to take away the following night. Website says open til 10.30 for take away however we couldn’t order after 9pm. Only issue. Food, staff everything amazing.

    Absolutely loved spending my valentines dinner at my most favourite restaurant, staff are always friendly, atmosphere is brilliant and the place is very welcoming and of course the food is absolutely outstanding for the price well worth it ❤️ As always I’ll definitely be back

    We booked a table for 8.45 pm and when we arrived, we immediately got the impression that the staff wanted us out as soon as possible. They pushed us to order quickly because the kitchen was closing at 9. When my food arrived, it was tasty but it was cold. I didn't enjoy the meal at all as we felt the staff were watching us all the time waiting for us to leave. Overall, we were disappointed and it would put us off returning.

    Food was mediocre. Pizza was good. Pasta could have been microwaved from a box for all the flavour that was in it. Our order included one pint of larger that was so flat it resembled cider. The host/waiter was abysmal. Asked three times for a spare plate for pizza as we had a person with additional needs in our party of three and I needed to cut up the pizza. I finally stopped asking after I was given a side plate and a pasta bowl! Didn’t bother with dessert. Will not be recommending or returning.

    Met a friend for lunch, the server was polite and friendly and very helpful, making recommendations which were a great help. The food was lovely and the portions were very generous. Will definitely return.
