Throughout the day, it’s the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. By night it’s something far more and one that just has to be seen. In the day it’s the place to catch up and have that planned meeting with friends and business colleagues, by late afternoon the mood is changing and the lights are dimming giving you the feel that the experience is about to change a little. Valentine’s Day Our starts arrived 10 minutes part. First starter was dropped on the table in a very rude manner. Our main courses were still being cooked when we decided that we had lost our appetite due to the very long wait between courses. The Manager was very polite and

The restaurant was closed. Clearly Open stable and Socialite are not joined up. Get a grip!!

We arrived and they had no recollection of the booking it was for a birthday I showed them the booking and they said that they didnt use opentable much They had shut because it was quiet and no notification of this got there and we where turned away and was too late to go anywhere else nice

Great new Brighton spot. Perfect cocktails, excellent food and the best service. Best thing about it was unlike most cocktail bars in Brighton you don’t have any riff-raff in there and the people are all very nice.

The food is mediocre and over priced. My prawn cocktail was 4 large, large, fat but tough prawns with grated iceberg in a very vinegary dressing, and the £34 fillet that I ordered medium/rare arrived medium/well done. Service was pleasant but not very competent. We ordered sprouts, but we’re told they’d be replaced with green beans, which never showed up except on our bill, as sprouts.

The restaurant wasn’t open !!! we traveled a long way to then be walking around the streets finding somewhere else to eat, then had to wait an hour to eat in a different restaurant because it was busy. So annoying, i shouldn’t of been able to book this restaurant if it’s not even open

It is something of a triumph of style over substance. Great location, and all looks very hip and stylish. Others have commented on the inexperienced and somewhat chaotic waiting staff; we had to wait 35 minutes for our initial aperitif drinks to arrive (one cocktail and a diet coke). Later we had the same glass of wine, which he hadn’t ordered, brought to our table on three occasions by two different servers. Not blaming individual servers who were all very charming, but evident lack of competent leadership. The food was good enough, but like the drinks, about 25% over-priced. And the glass of wine we hadn’t ordered and sent back three times, still appeared on our bill. Not a restaurant we will be re-visiting.

Went on Saturday 16 Oct for my husband’s birthday)) it was great, the restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious . I loved loved the music, the bar area was stunning. Our server was Johnny, what a super young guy. All in all I would highly recommend this place , it’s got a bit of something for everyone. We will be back .
