    This was my wife’s birthday and we wanted a good restaurant with good fish dishes. We have known and talked about Sole for quite some time, yet never managed to go. We’re we glad we did, from the minute we entered the restaurant there was a lovely soft buzz happening and as we like to eat early we were surprised. We were greeted very well, and given a superb table given all the information about the way things worked and then the service began. The waiter service was nothing short of excellent, and the food and wine there brought were superb. As we dined the buzz got better maybe it was the wine or that more and more people came in I’m not sure. We were never rushed and no matter how many people came in, it never appeared crowded. Overall we had a superb evening along with superb food and superb craic. Can’t wait to be back. Well done to everyone concerned you deserve a big pat on the back.

    Went for a birthday treat with my best friend. We ate from the early bird menu. Extraordinary value for a three course meal of outstanding quality. Scallops and Sea Bass were absolutely 😋. Excellent service, very welcoming and lovely interior, Already shared the pictures and recommending to others.

    Food was good, a little disappointed with the fries and the batter on the fish, I would have expected home made fries in a restaurant of this calibre. The staff were really lovely and very attentive

    All the fish (BBQ'd Tiger Prawn, Crab Claws, Lemon Sole and Turbot) was cooked and presented perfectly. Haven't had better anywhere. The side orders were super too and complemented our mains. Lucas was excellent and really knowledgeable and recommended an ideal replacement for our first choice white wine. One very minor disappointment was the brown bread and sourdough - both could be described, at best, as of average supermarket quality and not what I'd expect from a restaurant of this standard. Will definitely go back.

    Food was very good, however the portion was on the slightly smaller side. We ordered from the early bird/lunch menu and thought this was good value for money. Service was excellent our waiter kept topping up our wine glasses without having to ask. Would recommend!

    We had an amazing night at Sole, the front of house staff were very friendly & welcoming, the waiters and waitresses were so professional and couldn’t do enough for us.     All great except the temperature . Very cold which made the experience less that perfect otherwise I would e commend to all. Seems to had air con blasting in a another January cold day . The management should look into that . Food was good price was reasonable for the lunch deal . Would recommend

    Loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Service was amazing and brilliant food recommations given. Mackerel and sea bass! Only bad thing I can say is the prawns in the prawn cocktail were very soft and a weird texture. Would not order again. But everything else was amazing!

    The quality of the food is phenomenal. With wine to match it. Staff know there business very well. The only thing I would change is the coffee. I had an espresso and it was good on Irish standards of coffee but was a letdown compared to the food. 6 out of ten for the espresso

    Lovely setting and restaurant, with great staff. Had a quite disappointing monkfish and the children’s menu was heavy with chips and no vegetables. Overall, not great value for money but lovely setting and great staff.

    First time to visit on the occasion of my wife's Birthday have to say we were not disappointed, Have been to fire your sister restaurant many times but last time it was not a great experience they overcharge us when we called to inform them they wanted us to return there and then to restaurant to sort it but at that stage we were on our way home ! eventually a manager got back after 4 to 5days to sort problem he was not as professional or helpfully as he should be ! My impression was we were been awakard! Being pensioners we were not impressed ! Fire need to get back on their game ! they have slackened off some and need to pull it back a few people we know have said much the same! As for Sole we will definitely be back

    Awful and expensive meal...though the welcome was ok, our waiter was grumpy and unfriendly. The food was less than mediocre, the tuna tartare was off and I sent it back, no apologies received. The prawn cocktail was gritty, though the taste was nice. The sole was very expensive for what was clearly fish that was not fresh. Terrible and would never ever go there again.
